The location and property are a beautiful, tranquil place. The staff are outstanding and service excellent. The room we stayed in was super large and had a lovely patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. I loved the beach club. Awesome to go to the beach with a secure access, and the pool area was awesome. Never mind that we did not have to look for parking at the beach as the beach club has its own parking and your vehicle is safe behind a locked gate with security.

My only complaint is that the bathroom needs attention. It is clean but old and an eyesore compared to the rest of the surroundings.

Breakfast was good, they had 2 types of sausages (Beef & pork), bacon, beans, mushrooms, (sometimes hash browns, mince, liver) tomatoes and then a chef ready for your egg order (omelettes etc). Fresh fruit salad and a variety of cereals. Some baked items like muffins, breads (incl health types) and pastries. Fresh water always available! Juices (not freshly squeezed). Overall it was good but my only comment is that there could be more variety for the hot meals from day to day. Maybe a mushroom dish that is not a creamy version. The staff are awesome! Special mention of a gentleman named Cyprian who was awesome. Cleaning staff friendly, helpful and welcoming. There was a burst pipe so they were trying to fix the water but they made sure we had options and even offered us to shower in another room that afternoon. Also, the town had power outages but the resort made sure to switch on their backup power and thus they handled this very well. Some mistakes with food orders but the staff are eager to correct any mistakes and the food was tasty and mostly good with some meals being excellent. Overall the value provided at this hotel was exceptional so i give them 10/10 for price versus product.

Breakfast was exceptional! Staff was always available & willing to assist. Gardens are lush, well maintained.

Little maintenance issues such us the wobbly fan or stained tiles in the bathroom. Not major faults though. We were a bit disappointed on our last evening, the visitors on the ground floor had a braai! (Not allowed). It made our room smell, they made a noise & played music until the late hours & we struggled to sleep. Should have called reception to complain, but didn't want to come across as the "badies". Perhaps a suggestion to have security do walk abouts just to observe & check every now & again.

Great venue, great scenery, rooms were very nice and spacious (we had the down stairs rooms), they were able to accommodate us with ensuring the rooms were next to each other. It's very close to most attractions and amenities - gym, beach, shops. It has a club house with swings and slides for kids

The venue doesn't have child care as per booking. Com it has a play room were an adult still needs to look after the kids. The kids play room was smelly and had limited items for kids to play with and it only cater for smaller kids 1-2,for older kids 3 and younger than teens there are very limited options. Water was always luke warm when we showered between 11-12

We stayed here once before and that was why we came again. The place has a lovely olde world feel about it and the accommodation is really top class. We had a fairway unit so there was a nice view of the beautiful golf course. Breakfast on the veranda was excellent. We had one dinner at the associated golf club next door and one in the restaurant in the hotel, both were very good. One can see that hotel staff are properly trained just by the way they deal with guests.

Nothing. We unfortunately had a leak in the roof when the air-con outlet pipe came loose. This was fixed very quickly and even though we were offered another room we declined as the repair was so speedy.

It's our second time here and we love the location. The staff are always friendly and make every effort to make you comfortable. The breakfast was done well. All in all it was a lovely relaxing anniversary getaway.

There is a lot of maintenance that needs to be done, for example, there are cracked tiles on the stairways and broken handrails. The rooms are lovely, but the bathrooms need a bit of TLC. Also the aircon wasn't working in our room. The awesome staff did arrange another room for us but we chose to stay in the original one because we preferred its location on the first floor, which was more private.

The estate is truly a hidden gem on the South Coast. The golf course and club house by the beach are just perfect. Perfectly manicured lawns and golf course. We were a group of vegetarians and the staff went the extra mile to cater for us, these small gestures will make me a repeat guest. The beds were presented really nice and it gave me peace of mind when sleeping. The front desk, dining and security staff are really good people, took care of our needs and were efficient.

The facilities have an old charm to it but there are tiny little things that need attention/updating. I booked three rooms, and personally stayed in 33 which I couldn't find a working A/C with remote, the patio door didn't lock, the shower door was misaligned and didn't lock, the towels didn't look very clean. I didn't complain to front desk as we were overall happy with the hotel and it was a one night stay and constructive criticism will help management.

Good location, nice large room with great view of golf course fairway, cleverly sited to maximise feeling of privacy from neighbouring guests. Ample, safe on-site parking at no extra charge. Accommodating general manager apologised for slightly early closing kitchen on my late-ish arrival, but went out of his way to provide a suitable alternative, and we agreed a fruit salad which was promptly delivered to my room at no charge, thank you. Very comfortable bed, good supply of mini toiletries and bottled water. Tasty breakfast in nicely located restaurant.

Tiled bathroom a little bit tired and showing its age. Lack of pathway and external lighting in the immediate vicinity of my room was inconvenient and required holding own iPhone torch light and supervising luggage at the same time on my after-dark arrival. Service at breakfast restaurant painfully slow and understaffed with only one person shuttling between dining room and kitchen serving between half a dozen guests occupying four tables.

Delicious Buffet Breakfast every morning - fresh pastries and lovely selection of everything Room was serviced every day. Bonus was having fresh towels every day! Sunday Buffet at Lunch was delicious too Pool was super clean and staff serving from the bar very friendly and helpful

Perhaps an extra lounge chair as there is only one in the double room and we used a chair from the outside to sit on while watching TV

The quiet place, the space of the room, the nature around the hotel, the structure of the hotel. The staff was very friendly, efficient and professional, the breakfast was generous and very good. The spa is very good too.

The bathroom air vent sensor in our room was too noisy and sensitive. Even if we were passing in front the door closed, it was activated, which could be a bit irritating.
