A very attractive and comfortable flatlet with lovely, artistic touches and attention to detail. Very conveniently situated with easy access to walks in the koppie over-looking the village and into the interesting places in the town. Sandra was a friendly hostess who gave good advice about the area and places to visit.

The kitchenette is rather basic and we would have enjoyed a small air-frier or a microwave with a convection function to heat food not suitable for microwave heating.

Loved the quieter street this guest house was located in - but still being literally a block down the main road and all the amenities like coffee shops and shops you could mooch around in. The guest house was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed. Sandy went out her way to make sure we were happy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to guests. I for one will definitely be back.. :)

Sandra was a great host; very friendly and had great communication. The space was perfect for a quick stop-over and in a great location with easy access to walks in the koppie overlooking the village and visiting the interesting places around town. A characterful guest suite at a Karoo house. Beautifully clean, comfortable beds, safe parking. Good air conditioning and lots of thoughtful touches. The hostess was exceptional kind, providing rusks, milk, tea, coffee, muesli, yogurt & Sherry.

I would have liked to have more space to self cater.

The yogurt and muesli and rusks provided were delicious ! And the carafe of old brown sherry was such a treat as the afternoon chill set in ! Nothing to not like ... Everything was perfect !

We loved this place! Every detail was really well thought-through and on arrival we felt right at home. The place was really well equipped, down to the muesli, coffee and milk provided. Decor was spot on as well, location was super quiet but still close enough to the nice things in town. Definitely a 10/10!

What a great apartment. It comes with everything you will need for short stay. It was exceptionally clean with attention to detail. Very quiet at night.

Gate was a little narrow for my van, but could be that I am a bad driver. Nevertheless still got through to safe undercover parking.

2nd time here ...and the little details of rusks, coffee,/tea/ yogurt make you feel so welcome. A homely welcome and hostess goes out her way to bring you anything you need. We.liked being away from the noisy main road and would definitely come back here again.

Karoo Chat is a great stay with everything you need to be comfortable. Sandra is a great host who made us feel at home.

Whilst the amenities are great, there isnt much of a view. And in a place as beautiful as Prince Albert, it would have been amazing to make a fire and have a sundowner with a view over the mountains or town.

We had the most glorious time at this truly Karoo style stay. Karoo luxury at it's best! Our host is so friendly and has the most welcoming smile. The milk and yoghurt in fridge was absolutely divine. It was from a local dairy, Gay's Dairy. Wish we had more time to visit the dairy - next time.
