We stayed in one of the Rondavel units. Although it was located a bit of the distance from the pools, the walk was not too bad. Obviously, came for the pools and they were really enjoyable - the temperature in the main pool was lovely. The units are equiped with the basics and I was surprised they have satellite channels. Facilities are fairly well maintained and clean.

Units could be better stocked with the basics, since it is a self-catering units. The standard expectation would be that you have a spatula for cooking. Also, since it has braai facilities you would think that is would have braai tongs. Lastly, the units do not have "beach" towels, so we needed to use the unit towels for this purpose. If I was to return, I would obviously be better prepared. Oh and one more thing, they pillows were not great and everyone complained in the morning about neck pain.

The 5-bed luxury cabin was lovely, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. The setting is beautiful!

My 79-year old mom tripped as she was exiting the warm swimming pool. The steps are too high for the elderly. A male guest helped my mom out of the warm swimming pool. She was too afraid to go swimming again. The steps into the indoor pool is also too high for her - and the machine that lowers people with disabilities into the pool, is broken. It would be very helpful if a ramp could go into the pools, so that the elderly and disabled can also make use of the swimming pools.

Location is wonderful and its a very relaxing holiday. I had one of the expensive slanghoek villas and i felt that the quality of the kitchenware like the cutting knives ,potatoe peeler ,cutting board could be improved upon.it is a self catering unit . Also 2 ply toilet paper should be put in those units instead of the flimsy 1ply. We stayed from friday to monday and they put 2 two bath towels in for your entire stay per room and only replace the hand towels. Facilities at the place are good and good activities and entertainment arranged

Super super super clean and neat Half the staff was overfriendly, loved it Hot swimming pool was clean and great Bedding, blankets, couch, kitchen ware was all fantastic, loved it

Some of the staff members starred (looked) at us like we were from another planet Some of the staff members were very loud when chatting each other right outside our unit The supertube was off The restaurant staff wasn't very friendly The shower head is awefull, it the water sprayes so hard on you The lights in the unit was constantly in our eyes, not great, would have preferred a soft standing light

Toilet was a bit messy,especially the toilet pots had yellow stains in it,looked a bit unappealing. Also my wife had a encounter with your security guard on Tuesday at the Slanghoek pools.He showed pornograhic pictures on his phone to my wife which deeply upset her which resulted in a confrontation with him. This was reported to your reception desk the following day,Wednesday,and my wife was informed that the manager will come up to us at 13:00 the same day,he never pitched.All of this happened just shortly after 16:00 at the Slanghoek pools. This deeply traumatized my wife and 8 year daughter who was with her at the pools.There where two guys at the pools whom where witnessed to this and also confronted your security guard and they also advised that we need to report him.

We liked everything about the resort and the facilities😊The hot pools was a bonus in this chilli weather.

We had 2 units,a Slanghoek Villa and a tulbag unit,the Villa was beautiful and had everything to make our stay very pleasant☺ The only thing the resort can maybe consider for winter times is to maybe add towels during the winter season at the tulbag houses because the weather was rainy the first 2 days our children didn't have towels to wash with because the towels they used for swimming didn't get dry at all due to the cold weather but apart from that everything was perfect.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and treated us with alot of respect as should be expected. I work for a cruise line company in the hospitality industry and the service I experienced was the service I give. The place is beautiful, well worth any money spent there and is well maintained and looked after. A brilliant place

The noise restrictions, even though we were not too loud and didn't bother anyone or receive any noise complaints were still told now and then to keep it down, however what a fantastic place.

Beautiful house and beautiful setting. Not overcrowded. Entertainment for my sons and grand daughter. Every thing was great. After 2 years I managed to go into the pool and swim on my last morning there. I'm definitely going back.

We were at Slanghoek villa and would have like for that small cars ( or whatever it's called) to uber me at a fee of course to the indoor pool and shop. Due my health issues I'm unable to walk more that a few steps.

The staff were accommodating and helpful right off the bat. The pools were superb : warm, relaxing and open late enough for a night time swim. The area and facilities were picturesque. There are lots of activities to keep you entertained for a week. We stayed in the 5-sleeper rondawel - that was well equipped.

Snakes and poisonous insects. We didn’t see any but the thought and warning of them kept us abit on edge. Not something you’d expect to hear while on holiday. Our house was checked prior to check in though.

our stay was lovely, enjoyed the outside pools and environment, very friendly people!

the undercover pool had no lighting and the pool's surrounds not too clean either(cigarette butts laying around). the outside pools and surrounds were cleaner. we had to have pizza for breakfast due to restaurant kitchen being painted. food for breakfast was not available to cook.
