Thank you for a fabulous weekend. We also appreciated the added Easter gestures at check inn & inside our room 210 was just gorgeous. Will definitely be back again soon. We loved every part of it. Next time we do hope that it is a little warmer as now summer is over & the pool was iced, with a crisp chill in the air, but still so enjoyable & relaxing. Staff were absolutely friendly from the gates, reception, ,housekeeping, beach area, restaurant, pool sides even the life gaurds.

The insects in the rooms...But that's something that's expected given the location. We tried to keep the balcony door & windows closed. I think for the future maybe housekeeping can do 1 last check up before arrival, especially the curtains, beddings & the ceilings ...But this won't affect my 10 Star review as everything else was just gorgeous!

The staff were all friendly and efficient and all willing to help. Makes a huge difference. Breakfast had good choice, best omelets ever. Food and drinks were delicious and no waiting times. Room spacious and lovely view.

Our deluxe room was a bit strange. Although it was a great size, lovely view, it felt like you were living in the bathroom. It needs hooks to hang your towel up closer to the shower. Otherwise you step out the shower and walk across the room to get your towel and clothes. Or leave them on the floor. The TV channels were quite limited. A couch or couple of chairs would have been nice.

A beautiful place, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great very spacious. Good breakfast and excellent dinner but the speed of delivery from the kitchen needs to be improved. The beach is perfect. Security on site is really good.

Important to note our visit was at a very busy time (new year 2025). The pool is located in a strange small corner of the site which is surprisingly given the vast size of the site, it’s very noisy there with a lot of children so not so good for adults seeking relaxation. We are not golfers, I suspect it would be extremely good if we were but we were disappointed that there was no driving range which might enable non golfers to get involved. We’d hoped to hire bikes but that was not possible on site and the wait to have a massage at the spa was so long it was not possible to have any treatments during our visit, we were very disappointed with that.

Beautiful surroundings, pools and golf course. Buck running around freely. The dinner was very good but a bit on the pricey side. Close to pools and amenities. The spa is lovely. Had the best massage with my husband. You get free still waters brought to your room every day. Has bar fridge in room.

The attention to detail and mood in the hotel restaurant is lacking. Buffet Breakfast was okay but often short on refilling coffee station and butters etc. Small things such as lack of teaspoons on teacups and the way the table is setup. The a la carte menu at dinner is delicious but pricey. We stayed in deluxe room with shower only. It could do with a place to hang hand towels. The rooms balcony is tiny. Just enough space to fit 2 chairs but not enough to move around on. Otherwise everything was very good.

The room was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The amenities were amazing. When we asked for extra water we were given a 5 litre bottle of water which was appreciated.

The restaurant food was not up to par. We were very disappointed with the dinner on night 1. Definitely not value for money. Night 2 we went to a local beach restaurant which was amazing.

All staff very very friendly from the reception, restaurant and house keeping . Room cleaner and bathroom facilities number one, food perfect as well . Whoo the massage was very good everything was perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️🙌thank you for having us. Thank you booking.com ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

Air-conditioner was not 40%effective so when we want it to cool the room it was definitely very low on high.

Beautiful Estate, we enjoyed a few rounds on the mashie course, fun activities for kids on Easter Sunday. The beach was beautiful too.

We booked for 2 adults and a 3 year old no bed provided for child, the room was pretty small, the shower leaked and we had to keep asking for extra floor towels, the extractor fan in the bathroom made quite a noise. Pillows were not great.

The breakfast was OK The location is superb 👌 👏🏾

Walking up and down the stairs without any other option like a lift 2. The standard appear to be top like the well known 5 star hotels of umhlanga and ballito but when you get there there are some little disappointments ie no assistance with your luggages. Receptionist will just give you your keys and point your direction with no one to assist you to find your way. If you can also make more variety on your breakfast and appropriate coffee machines than those flasks you use to serve. Otherwise San lameer can be the outstanding hotel in south coast if you can fix these little things here and there.

Breakfast was good, clean, neat, staff friendly and helpful. Had a lovely rest enjoyed the pool and beach, was beautiful. Have more specials for people to visit.

Mutton curry had lots of bones, it was expensive and not worth it. Taste was good. Didn't like the egg toast and harsh brown, relook at others places how to make it small, no crumbs and too wet inside.

Love San Lameer so much. The breakfast and the staff are amazing.

It’s was the first time that the room smelled like sewage. There is a clear problem with the sewage system on the south coast and not sure if that had something to do with it. Every time we walked in from outside the smell was overwhelming. Never had it before at a previous room there but this one wasn’t great.
