We really loved the view. We were in room 1B which had a good kitchen, great fireplace, lots of wood and folding sliding doors so we could look out at the beautiful mountains. Lee-Anne was very accomodating and brought us a few things that were missing from our cottage straight away. It was lovely to be able to have our students over for a home cooked meal. We had a little walk to the dam on the first day and Lee-Anne mentioned a plan to have a proper circular walk in the future which I think would be great. Loved the little pool for a freezing wake up swim.

Some people would miss having a TV, but we didn't.

Great location for exploring the surrounding areas, close to wine farms and restaurant, but far enough away to have that "in the country feeling". The property was a decent size with good views and easily accessible. Every morning the firewood was replenished which was a great help as it saved us having to restock all the time.

There were insufficient wine, beer and water classes. The wine classes that were there were all different sizes and there was one each (4 glass) for the entire property. Coffee mugs were also different sizes and once again - one each.

The day we arrived it was 35 degrees and the air conditioning was on, windows closed and we were happy that the place was extremely clean. Next day was 25 degrees so we turned off aircon and opened windows for a breeze. Loads of dust balls and hair (not ours) was blown into room from underneath bed. Cleaners must up their game. Bathroom was tiny, very hard not to knock your foot on edge of shower trying to get into bathroom.

The property is in a beautiful location out in the countryside about 15 minutes drive from the centre of Stellenbosch. Stunning views of the mountains from our veranda made having breakfast on the deck extra special. The unit we stayed in was clean, spacious with sufficient furniture and accessories to ensure a very easy and relaxing few days. The staff were very helpful. We will definitely have Mont Angelis on our list if we get back to Stellenbosch in the future.

The place is very peaceful and calm. It was really nice overlooking the mountains and vineyards and also Lee Ann the host gave us a complimentary wine. We also wanted to braai and the house manager got us brand new braai equipment to use. Definitely a gem between those valleys and we will be back if we are ever in stellenbosch 😍 and the bed was excellent, I had the best sleep ever.

Such a lovely place! The location is terrific, offering you stunning views to the surrounding mountains. Especially during sunrise and sunset! The cottages themselves offer everything you need and are very well equipped. A special bonus: Waterford vineyards (and Dornier) are only a 15min walk!

Honestly nothing!

The property and location exceeded our expectations. Very quiet and peaceful. A great place to get away for a quick escape out of the busy city. The unit was extremely spacious and everything was to our liking. The bottle of wine upon our arrival was great gesture as well and Lee-Anne the property manager is very friendly and welcoming.

A fantastic stay! This place truly exceeded our expectations. It was much more spacious than we imagined, which made it perfect for spending time with visiting family. The fireplace was a highlight on chilly evenings, and the location couldn’t be better, just a short drive from Waterford. We’re already planning our next visit!

If you want complete relaxation this is the place to be .. There's no TV. Very quite . Nice walks . Near some beautiful vineyards. The sound of the many birds . And the different colours of the mountains . Comfortable beds . Great space.

Not enough beds to lie out at pool. The 4 that are there needs cushions as they very uncomfortable.

Beautifully situated, very well appointed, fully equipped self catering farm cottages. Well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and lovely outside deck with views across the farm. Excellent follow up service from manager Lee-Anne.

Nothing to dislike. A few minor issues quickly sorted out by Lee-Anne.
