The cabins were sufficient for the whole family especially the kids , Beds were comfortable and the place was clean evrytime we came back for day activities.

Swimming area entry payment, why? I mean we booked to stay there .it became a bit steep for us since we were the family of 5 . It also doesn't make sense to pay when you are only there to watch the kids swim.

The entire process from booking to check in was brilliant. The self catered chalets have recently been upgraded and are very clean, neat and comfortable. We were thoroughly surprised to be surrounded by their game farm which borders the chalets. There are tame animals within close proximity. There are various accommodation options at the resort. There are various restaurant options as well at the Emerald Casino Resort.

Updated info on Booking.com site advising of the different facilities on site and on the resort property which is huge.

THE ENTIRE PLACE WAS SPOTLESS, BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE. IF YOU HAVE ENERGY, YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN FOOD FOR COOKING BECAUSE ALL THE KITCHEN UTTINSILS ARE PROVIDED. JUST DON'T BREAK ANYTHING, BECAUSE YOU WILL PAY. MAKE SURE YOU ALSO DONT PUT ANY PERMANENT STAIN ON THE BED SHEETS

THE MAINTENANCE WORKERS WHERE A LITTLE INCONSIDERATE FOR SPRYING WATER ON THE GRASS AND PUTTING THE WATER SPRAY DIRECTLY TO OUR ENTRANCE. THIS MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR US TO ENTER OUR OWN BOOKED PLACE. HOWEVER, THE LADY WHO WAS ON DUTY WAS HELPFUL AND THE MATTER WAS RESOLVED. THIS WHOLE ORDEAL DELAYED ME TO GET READY FOR MY GRADUATION CEREMONY.

The resort was peaceful and tranquil until a few very noisy neighbors checked in. I loved that we were situated in the front but could still hear lots of noise late at night. Loved that everything was clean

The chalet was very comfortable but the shower in chalet 3 was not usable. The pressure was so high that the water stung. Emerald should consider free entrance to the Aquadome for River resort visitors during a certain time. It is very expensive if you spend 5 days at the dome for a family of 5. The half price discount should also be applicable for all River Resort visitors to make it more attractive because accommodation is quite expensive for just a resort pool and no other facilities.

We really enjoyed our stay at the chalets. The place was peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing.....a perfect getaway. We had a great overall experience. We’d definitely come back again!

One of the staff members at reception (a lady on duty around 10 AM) was quite rude. We requested an iron, but no arrangements were made. During checkout and while processing our refund, her tone and manner of speaking were unprofessional. On the other hand, the white gentleman who assisted us earlier in the morning provided excellent service .. he was polite, patient, and professional. It would be great if staff could receive training from him on good customer service.

Good day, From the start to the end. We enjoyed our stay. And the shuttle assisted too much. Our first day on the 8, with the massage. Oh the hands of the ladies are very good. Day two. To the animal world enjoyed it and the game drives fantastic feeding those animals. Later the cruise 12:30 loved it. Sailing nicely softly in the vaal rivers. We enjoyed it. After that we went swimming in warm waters. It took my breath away. Thank you for a great weekend. It was worth it. This year I am coming back again. Not to forget the cleaners. They did a great work to. I thank them. Security lady helped us when we moved in with a shuttle, thumps up good assistance. We were lost hahaha. The driver of a shuttle, he was friendly and helpful with more information. Great work too.

So far there was nothing I didn't like.

I enjoyed the fact that every entertainment was inside the property and there is a lot to do. The other thing is there is a lovely shopping nearby.

The fact that chalet i got was a bit old the couch has to be replaced.

The location,the layout of the chalet... security including reception staff very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff friendly and deligent. Our chalet was cleaned daily including beds made & bedding changed. The service was excellent and we will definitely be returning.The premises has so much to offer we didnt get time to explore it all but will ne back for sure

No access to Tv channels which was suppose to be avialable. Very limited to what we could watch especially because the cold weather kept us indoors. This can maybe be looked at & adding a youtube link to the TV which will help keep the kids / toddlers entertained The above is just suggestions not necessarily things we didnt like.

Warm welcome from the Reception, the chalet was clean when we arrive,the kitchen well organized and the bedrooms were neat,the pools are well maintaied & clean.I loved the shuttle services

The security at the gate couldnt locate our Reservation from his register, it was a bit inconveniencing we were starting to panick & wonder what happened until we got help from the Reception The cleaning staff wasnt friendly at all, they dont greet & our room was not cleaned until lunch time, we had to report it at Reception,the soap holder in the shower needs to be replaced & if in future they can put towels according to the number of guests as it indicated that the Resort offers towels, otherwise we could have brought our own.... The couch is only for two people and we were four

The securities at the main GATE when you 1at enter emerald their services is very bad, very bad we got to the gate on the 1st side they just watched us struggle with the censor and the gate not opening while they continued opening for the others while they looked us in the eyes, I immediately felt otherwise, but the security officers by the chalets very kind and hands on
