Superb breakfast freshly made by the host, very nice host who gave us information on places to go hiking, very comfortable room, very clean.

Our room was the one on the lowest floor without any view and next to the parking. I wish it was explained more clearly that this is the room we would be getting when booking on bookings.

Amazing place on the ocean shore! Everything was perfect here. The heart of this place is the owner Benjamin. A very kind and sympathetic person, a pleasant conversationalist. We are incredibly grateful to him for helping us with our questions. He made a truly impressive house, where every detail contains great love. Very beautiful and cozy. And what breakfasts are here! The best breakfasts we have ever had. And he cooks it himself together with his father. It's incredible. Our vacation here was wonderful. We enjoyed the ocean and the stars. All was wonderful

Prime location towards the beach/ocean and very helpful and engaged hosts! Huge breakfast in the morning catering for dietary adjustments too. We stayed in the garden room which is at the back of the house (we didn't opt for any views but rather quietness), facing the garden where less to no people were roaming, most of the happening is towards the ocean side of the building. Huge communal areas, sofas with oceanview, pool table etc. that could be utilized at any time. Owners live down the road and offer their help for anything you might need.

The room and house is showing it's age, can imagine with the oceanfront's salty air this is happening faster then elsewhere. This did not downgrade our stay, just something to be aware of in terms of expectations, not everything being shiny new.

The view was phenomenal - could not beat it if you tried! The staff were helpful and friendly but not too in-your-space. The room was clean - it was white and airy and had a loft feel to it. Stairs would be a bit much for older people I think. Breakfast was delicious and more than enough to fill us up (parfait followed by a full english). A lovely room for couples.

The place was amazing and nothing needs to be changed per se. I do want to warn travelers that the sun comes up early in winter and the room was very white with gossamer curtains, so the sun was like a strobe at 5 in the morning. Bring eye cover for a more restful sleep.

The location was really good! See photo. A great spot for whale whatching which is why we came here. And, the listing is value for money and both hosts were friendly and very helpful. The father son duo had lots of positive energy which we liked. I needed to do some work upon arrival and this was very well facilitated for me. The breakfast was big and homely and made to order.

Creaking noices from the people upstairs. Each step they took was loud. I guess it is the nature of wooden floors and roofs but when the people staying upstairs have a toddler, it is hard to relax.

The views from the property were beautiful, and the breakfasts were exceptional. It's an ideal place to use has a base to explore the Garden route.

The property does need some updating. The curtains in our room were dirty with water marks. Also, on our last evening, we had water dripping through the ceiling. From what I can guess was the bathroom above our room. I did make a phone call, but there was no answer, so I left a message, but there was no mention of it the next morning.

The easy check-in process was a great start to our trip. What really made our stay special was the short walk to the stunning beach! The location was perfect, close enough to town for dinner and exploration, yet peaceful enough to unwind. The sea view from the unit was great. The breakfast was a complete bonus :) Plus, as a runner, the area is safe and scenic. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and beautiful spot to relax.

Loved the pleasure of a hot spa bath on a cold winter's day. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast cooked to our personal likes. Parasails floated by at eye level, which was fun to watch. We have stayed at Whales Way previously and loved the beach walk. It was just too cold and too little time this visit.

We chose the Penthouse suite and knew that there were stairs to climb. Unfortunately they were a little difficult for my husband. No fault of Whales Way. This would not deter our desire to return.

Colazione a buffet continentale e servita inglese molto abbondante. The position is perfect with seaview from the room. The Beach Room is very cosy with a kitchenette. Parking in front of the room. Buffet continental breakfast and cooked English.

Non c e niente di negativo da rilevare. Nothing negative to mention. We can only suggest the owner to give a mobile phone.number with whatsapp as international cuatomers don t necessarily have the possibility of calling. We sent messages through booking but received no reply.

The view from the room and breakfast overlooking the Indian ocean is priceless. The breakfast was very good. We had the penthouse room and this was very spacious and bright. The room seemed recently upgraded.

The parking on the property is a bit limited, however we could park on the other side of the road. Our room received some smells from the kitchen and smokers below us. A small point of improvement are the leaking taps in the bathroom. The room was split with a toilet in the middle, which felt a bit weird. The room could do with more plug points.
