This is a really artsy boutique hotel with the minimalistic design yet with everything one needs for a stress-free relaxing stay in the middle of Busan. And a fantastic bargain to boot. The rooms have just about anything you would need except, like many hotels of any class, no bar soap is available, only shower gel. Also no body lotion was provided or available which is one of the few missteps. Also while the staff was very friendly and helpful, there were times when only very inexperienced staff with minimal English was available. This is to be expected of a small hotel of this size but not at 6:00 p.m. which is one of the times help is most needed. The shower/tub room combination is great and the tub is amazing for deep soaking. The bath bomb that was provided was a lovely touch. The bathtub tray of bamboo was beautifully designed and we are planning to purchase the exact one for our home. The lighting and light controls in the room were excellent and the heated floor was an added touch. The air conditioning was more than sufficient. The free postcards and stamps were also thoughtful and in keeping with the analog theme, allowed you to write messages in their books for posterity. In addition to pour over coffee and tea in the room, there are two coupons provided per night for coffee in the wonderful Cafe downstairs. The sweet treats there are amazing, especially the egg tart. Finally, the rooftop deck with bean bag chairs, while not at all fancy, is a lovely place to bring a coffee or your own bottle of wine with a direct view of the Busan Tower. The free snacks in the room are also a great addition. Finally the vinyl LPs and record player in the room was very nostalgic and provided great listening. The staff even brought me extra albums that really nailed my taste in music! Kudos! Note: Hea over to the Lotte Dept store observation deck (just 5-7 min away) for amazing views for free!

We loved every moment of our 3-night stay at Good Ol’ Days Hotel, and only we wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel celebrates travel from a bygone era with postcards, stamps, writing materials and magazines that showcase vignettes of Busan in each room and in the lobby. Every detail feels intentional and deeply nostalgic. The guest rooms are spacious and well sound proofed. Luxurious, high quality finishes, inc. an LP player, bathtub, Dyson hairdryer and writing desk (to name a few). We appreciated the complimentary offerings of mini bar, breakfast delivered to our door each morning, and barista-made coffee in the cafe downstairs. Staff were warm and welcoming, always accommodating and kept our room feeling fresh each day. The Jungang-dong neighbourhood is full of character and the hotel is within walking distance to many markets and attractions and public metro (Line 1 to Busan Stn) and buses.

We found the housekeeping times from 10:00-12:00 a bit unfortunate. Breakfast arrives at 08:30, so enjoying all the amenities of the room and maybe sleeping a bit longer puts you soon under time constraints here. Of course it is not a huge hotel with a lot of capacity, but already shifting the time to 11:00 - 13:00 or 12:00 - 14:00 would greatly ease the situation.

The morning breakfasts left outside the door were fantastic and they were served in a picnic style basket which was a lovely touch. I stayed in a top floor corner room and had good views down the street from the huge floor to ceiling windows. The large bed and duvet were very comfortable and the bath was a nice addition to the shower. There is a very nice coffee shop downstairs within the building and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is very good, Haeundae, Dadaepo and Gwangalli beaches are all easily accessible using the local metro station. Lots of places to visit locally and not too far from the main Busan train station either. I'm really happy I stayed at Good Ol' Days in Busan, I would definitely choose to stay here again. Thanks.

The hotel was so detailed. They provide you with postcards that you can send to yourself, along with notepads and a hand written note to welcome your stay. They give you breakfast in a picnic basket with delicious food every morning. All the snacks provided in the room and refrigerator is free and they refill it everyday. They give you free coffee in the morning at their coffee shop in the lobby. You can upgrade to their speciality coffee and just pay the difference. The hotel location is walkable to shopping areas/markets. The staff were so nice and attentive. The rooms were beautifully decorated. The beds were cozy and comfortable.

The room was magnificent and particularly comfy. Loved the design, especially the darker woods used for the walls and the bed. Didn't try the coffee but the pastries of the coffee shop on the ground floor were amazing.

Nothing to complain about. My only minor complaint is that they bring the breakfast to your room directly. Some people like that but I would prefer to have breakfast in their cafe, which only opens at 10.30am anyway.

Every morning, there's a breakfast basket outside your door. It's simple, but delicious and enough to get you through the morning. There's water, coffee beans and some snacks in the room that are restocked during housekeeping. The room was big and clean. Bath robes and enough towels were provided, and the bathtub was stocked with MALIN+GOETZ products. The general manager runs an Instagram account (@checkinbusan) with great local tips, and very kindly helped us get a reservation at a restaurant nearby. There's a lot of good spots within walking distance, and access to public transportation is also very easy!

- The temperature in the room can be a little hard to control.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and THE BEST hotel of the 8 I stayed in on my trip. I almost don’t want to express how amazing my experience was as it likely means the hotel will be too popular for when I want to return. However, the design of the hotel rooms, the bathroom and attention to detail is exceptional. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. And the experiences such as the breakfast delivery, the personalised gifts, the food and drink available in the mini bar etc is priceless. I appreciated the request to take off your shoes when entering, and how comfortable the room immediately made me feel as well as how accommodating and friendly the staff were. If I could stay at this hotel over and over again, I would. Also the drinks from the cafe are great.

The hotel was really trendy and the room was super comfortable. It felt like the staff had thought about every aspect of the hotel experience and provided a bunch of super cool free amenities. The location was near many of Busan’s top attractions.

The breakfast provided was a little bit disappointing, considering all the amazing items the hotel served at the cafe downstairs. Also the hotel provided us with free coffee coupons but the cafe only opened at 10:30am, which may be too late for tourists raring to see the city.

This hotel was amazing - something really different. The rooms have beautiful decor with records and record players. Its very thoughtfully designed and all the little extras really make it special! The staff are very helpful with recommendations and the rooms have snacks AND breakfast provided daily! the downstairs coffee shop is cool and does great coffee. The location is perfect and there is free parking in a robot car park across the road!
