The rooms were clean, extremely comfortable, and quiet. The views from the balcony over Bomun Lake were stunning. The buffet had an excellent food selection with Western and Korean dishes for breakfast. Nice and safe walking along the lake on a trail (easy access from the hotel and lighted at night) helps shed some of the calories gained throughout the day.

Nothing really negative to comment about regarding the stay at the Lahan Select Gyeongju. Our overall experience was worth the cost, even though I had wished for better value for money. The upper parking lots and the B1 garage get crowded at times, but we always found a spot on the B2 level.

It is rare to find a place where both the environment and the service are consistently outstanding, and this hotel achieves exactly that. Very clean and family oriented facilities, extra ordinary kind and professional staffs. Especially the food court providing international menu with high standards and affordable price was exceptionally satisfying. Lake view and the walking road was fantastic. My kid and entire family truly enjoyed the bowling in the evening. The book cafe was beautiful and the best for kids.

Swimming pool and shower area could be bugger and more premium. They charge pretty much for the hotel guests too, then it should be better quality. Too crowed for that size.

A good spot if you want to unwind for a couple of days. It’s got everything you need: a great buffet restaurant (top notch quality), a pool (although very expensive and on top of your room’s price), a spa (same as the pool, even the sauna, everything is charged extra).

You have to pay for everything. And when I say everything I mean it. Plan to double your initial bill if you stay for a couple of nights.

Wonderful bedroom/balcony view. Amazing buffet breakfast. Beautiful walk around lake. Easy access by taxi to Hanok village and then we walked around village & all main historic sites. Hotel a Grt base for visiting any sites in Gyeongju. We also took taxi up to temples, again lots of walking once there.

No proper bar with cocktails & style

Good location with attractive views and spacious, clean rooms with attractive decor, all at an attractive price.

The one disappointment was the breakfast buffet, which offered a surprisingly limited selection given its popularity and the overall standard of the hotel (room service was better value). And a frustration was the total absence of drawer space in the room. Some of us still like to unpack on holiday!

Hello everyone, this is not my first visit to South Korea and I am always very happy about it, I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel on the shore of a magnificent lake, everything around the lake is surrounded by green trees, when the sakura blossoms and you see it, it’s just a DELIGHT! I recommend to everyone ! and definitely excursions, evening and daytime.

Besides the buffet, there is no place to drink coffee in the morning until 10 am. It will be good to open the book & cafe at 8 am

location is great, view over the see is stunning with the lights in the evening. the building, the entrance hall and the overall ambiance is terrific. Size of the rooms is very good. rich breakfast buffet

more storage space in the rooms. for 2 persons we were not able to put our clothes in a closet or a sideboard. I would have expected this from this category of hotel

Our room had a beautiful view over the lake with a balcony. It was large, with two comfortable chairs and table by the sliding door. The hotel had a food court offering choices such as Korean, Japanese, Italian and burgers. There was a large seating area for guests to sit once they had chosen their food options. We had room service and it was very good. You need a taxi or your own car for touring the area. We enjoyed this lakeside hotel for the tranquility and gorgeous view. The staff were friendly and the room was clean.

The air-conditioning had been turned off on November 1. We arrived shortly after this and the weather was still very warm, which made our south-facing room unbearably hot. The hotel gave us a fan, which helped a little, but we had to have our balcony door wide open and the fan turned on to reduce the 26C heat of the room. The hotel offered us a cooler north facing room on the other side of the hotel, but we declined because we did not want to lose our lake view.
