A note of appreciation to front desk officer Mr Park Jun Chul who was very helpful in spite of his limited English. There were many things which I liked about Hotel Winstory (1) the washing machine inside the room, (2) the convenient location of the hotel which was walkable to Seogwipo Olle Market about 10 to 15 mins walk away, (3) Many buses at the Lifelong Learning Center bus stop along the road behind Hotel Winstory, (4) Nearby food street about 5 minutes walk away, (5) Jeju Olle Tourist Info Centre opposite the hotel about 3 minutes walk away, (4) Olle Trail 7 which was just down the road. However, do note that while Olle Trail 7 is scenic along the coast - there is no way out of the Oedolgae coastal walk and you will need to complete that stretch for about 1 hour and 30 minutes before it gets back to the road.

The hotel room was clean. And reasonable price. Hotel got provide mosquito repellent even when is winter.

Even when is winter, still can see a lot of mosquitoes. One night we can easily killed more than 10 mosquitoes. My son was bitten badly.

This hotel was GREAT !! Really good value for money !!! Very clean !! I had an entire studio for myself: kitchenette (sink, big fridge, coffee machine, storage, microwave), great dressing, a nice shower, a queen sized bed, a pretty nice view on the mountains and sea. I came from Seoul where I stayed in an hostel so I was SO HAPPY to have an entire room just for myself !! It's very clean, you have clean towels and 2 bottles of water every day. You have a smart TV with Netflix You also have sleepers to get around your room I would have loved to stay longer !!

Nothing, everything was okay for my standards which are not superficial.

We are foodies and we chose this hotel because it is near Arang Joeul Food Street. We greatly appreciate the staff's F&B recommendations. The restaurant that serves horse meat (both the grilled and the raw version were delicious. We had hairtail and cutlass fish in 2 other restaurants and they were all good. The washing machine was handy for our 4-day stay.

Hand towels were offered as bath towels! They were way too small!

We had requested for 2 side by side rooms for our family of 4 adults. At check in, the initial rooms assigned to us were a distance apart although on the same floor. When I asked Mr Park Jun Chul who attended to us at check in if something can be done to relocate us to 2 side by side rooms, he was very helpful and searched through his room system. He eventually found 2 side by side rooms on the highest floor to give to us. The rooms were generally clean although one of our rooms constantly had a cigarette smell despite it being a non smoking floor. However when we sprayed the room with sanitiser, the smell went off. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We arrived at the hotel by the airport limousine bus and it was a convenient 5-10 mins walk to the hotel.

I would like to compliment Ms Lee Soo Hyun for spending time to help me with the information I needed in Seoul. Though we need a translator app to communicate, she was very patient and helpful and always served me with a smile. Thank you for much Ms Lee! Also love the massage chair at the lobby. It was really very good.

They do not change bed sheets and use of laundry for stay that is less than 3 nights.

Luggage storage at front desk. Quick walk from the 201 bus from Seongsan. Easy walking distance to the Olle Market, Olle trail 6 and 7, and Food Street. About 20 minutes to Cheonjiyeon Waterfall. Room is large with some closet space. Large refrigerator. Washing machine in the room - drying rack is small. Strong AC. Water bottles and towels every day. The free massage chairs are a nice perk. Very comfortable stay.

It was close to the Olle market and the restaurants and also had a washing machine. I was mainly attracted by the washing machine. You can request a drying rack from the reception and buy a washing capsule. I liked the layout of the room and the bathroom. I would stay there again.

The room was very hot when I first entered it (30 degrees Celsius). I had to open a window and run the AC for a few minutes to bring the temperature down. It helped my laundry to dry faster though. The cleaning staff left 2 bottles of water and 2 clean towels each day. I think the towels were not necessary and there should be an option not to have them delivered each day to save the energy and the planet. There was a kettle in the room but no tea/coffee.

The room was nice and comfortable. AC worked well and TV had a Netflix. There was a washing machine that you could use if you stay 3 or more nights. Location is okey, a bit walk to the restaurants but 7 eleven and CU nearby. Downstairs you have two massage chairs you can use for free. They give you two small bottles of water every day.

No hot plate as shown in one picture, but also no cooking utensils.

Carpets seemed a little worn out, especially outside the room; washing machine is a little buggy — I had to close, open it, and close it back again multiple times before it worked
