the building is fantastic, great design and sense of style. Definitely not the common guesthouse! The badroom was spacious and the beds quite comfortable. The shared areas of the guesthouse were really nice, also, such a lively kitchen area! Peter (the owner) is a great host, and he cooks breakfast every morning, which adds extra something in my opinion :). All in all the place was great, peaceful, entertaining and perfectly located in Jeju. Recommend it 100%!

This accommodation is exceptional from every perspective—immaculately clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The location is excellent: close to the airport, major bus stations for visiting Jeju’s attractions, and right on the same street as Yongduam Rock. The breakfast was cozy and nicely prepared by the staff. Both the building and the environment were clean, and the room was very neat as well.

For me, there weren't any issues; this accommodation is exceptional. However, for some people, two things might be worth noting: there's no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs (though I didn’t find it difficult), and there’s no laundry service. That said, there are two coin-operated self-service laundromats open 24 hours, just 10 minutes away, and they’re great.

Peter is really nice and responsive. He also gave helpful suggestions and recommendations. I really enjoyed his homemade breakfast egg sandwich. The beds are comfortable, facilities really clean, separate toilets and showers which I appreciate, codes to get into the rooms are great instead of a key, and there was even a movie projected outside which I enjoyed watching as well. Good place to meet international travelers. Kitchen was useful as well with basics provided (oil, salt, etc.). There’s a great small supermarket/grocery store 5 minute walk away where I was able to buy everything I needed including fresh bread. Very convenient location near the airport to start my journey around beautiful Jeju!

Staying at Mir Guesthouse was a lovely experience! The staff was really friendly and spoke decent English, the space was very clean and cute, and the location was great too--an easy commute to the airport, a very short walk to the ocean/Dragon's Head Rock, and a 30 min walk to the Dongmun Night Market! There is also a 7-11 right next door for any needs that you might have. The staff will even make you breakfast (a toasted egg sandwich with jam) if you wish! And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet the resident dog! If you're a morning person, it's definitely worth going to the rooftop to view the sunrise.

The rooms and showers can feel a bit cramped, especially with 4 people sleeping in a single room, but that is something to be expected, as living spaces are generally on the small side in Korea.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at in 8 months of backpacking. Mir Hostel easily ranks in my top two hostels after 8 months of traveling the world. From the moment you walk in and swap your shoes for cozy slippers, you feel at home. The host, Peter, is incredibly kind and welcoming—he even prepares a little egg sandwich with coffee or orange juice for breakfast each morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. The vibe and aesthetic of the space are truly unique—charming, cozy, and full of character. There’s a rooftop area with great views and an upstairs lounge perfect for chilling, making calls, or getting a bit of work done. They also offer free towels and toothpaste, which are small things that make a big difference when you're constantly on the move. And I can’t forget to mention Thor, the adorable little white dog who roams around adding even more warmth to the experience. Honestly, I loved every minute of my stay here.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help with everything. Facilities were clean. Located in a non-touristy area so the place is not too loud.
