the building is fantastic, great design and sense of style. Definitely not the common guesthouse! The badroom was spacious and the beds quite comfortable. The shared areas of the guesthouse were really nice, also, such a lively kitchen area! Peter (the owner) is a great host, and he cooks breakfast every morning, which adds extra something in my opinion :). All in all the place was great, peaceful, entertaining and perfectly located in Jeju. Recommend it 100%!

Staying at Mir Guesthouse was a lovely experience! The staff was really friendly and spoke decent English, the space was very clean and cute, and the location was great too--an easy commute to the airport, a very short walk to the ocean/Dragon's Head Rock, and a 30 min walk to the Dongmun Night Market! There is also a 7-11 right next door for any needs that you might have. The staff will even make you breakfast (a toasted egg sandwich with jam) if you wish! And if you're lucky, you'll get to meet the resident dog! If you're a morning person, it's definitely worth going to the rooftop to view the sunrise.

The rooms and showers can feel a bit cramped, especially with 4 people sleeping in a single room, but that is something to be expected, as living spaces are generally on the small side in Korea.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help with everything. Facilities were clean. Located in a non-touristy area so the place is not too loud.

Would've been nice if there was a lift.

The hostel is conveniently located close to the airport and the beach is less than 10 mins walk away. The hostel design is creative and Peter enjoys telling you about the history and the thought behind it. The room was a bit small but had everything I needed. The bed was comfy. Depending on the day, it can get social in the evening. The breakfast is very limited. You'll get an egg sandwich with your choice of coffee or juice. It's delicious but it could be more complete by adding some fresh fruit or cereal for example.

Location is perfect! Had to catch an 8am+ flight after my road trip and so staying in a hostel made perfect sense. I managed to get a Kakao T taxi through the app almost immediately and reaching the airport in less than 10 minutes. The lockers provided was perfect and access was easy by pin. Other guests felt very respectful and a peaceful chill vibe.

I was on bed 3 which is on the upper bunk, and there is a shelf directly on the wall of where you would put your head pillow, which means I am unable to sit up lying against the wall… shower was abit cramp to navigate but not an issue since it’s relatively quiet so I don’t feel rushed. Needs proper bath towels instead of the one given which were like face towels.

Unique architecture for building. Shared rooms with beds had curtains which was nice for privacy. They have powder room for ladies with hair dryer, slippers to use etc which is nice. Stored luggage for free after checkout. Staff was nice and friendly. Quiet and nice place to stay. Supermarkets and restaurants next to it which was good to have if you need anything. Every morning, the owner made egg sandwich breakfast which was best sandwich I have ever had! Owner was also very nice to help me bring my luggage down after checkout. Definitely recommend. May come back again!

The shared rooms are very small and no elevator. If you have a lot of luggage/big luggage might be difficult to have enough space and carry it to different floors.

The breakfast was very very nice. Easy to find a parking spot.

Mir Guesthouse is a wonderful hostel! It is exactly as described in the perfect location close to the airport and with many taxis and busses close by to get around the island. There are many restaurants and cafes close by, and a beautiful walk by the ocean. The owner was so kind and made delicious egg salad sandwiches every morning for breakfast where he personally served and got to know his guest. I highly recommend this location for a safe, clean, comfortable stay on Jeju Island! ❤️

The beds could use mattress toppers, but over all very comfortable stay.

Absolutely can recommend this place! It's super clean and modern, has plenty of bathrooms and toilets, delicious breakfast, kind host. The beds have privacy curtains, a light, and a night table next to the power outlet. There is a special room for hair drying and doing ur makeup too! There is also a locker in your room. And the chilling area... *Sigh* It is so cozy! I was here on the colder days, so I stayed in the inside chill area, but the outside part looks amazing too. I did go to the rooftop for a quick look. U can see the ocean! Summerizing, u won't regret staying here. (Also this hostel was designed by a great architect, so u r staying in a master piece!)
