- The host, Mrs. Lee will go above and beyond for you. She was even helping me out on her birthday helping me book a super early taxi to get to the airport (thanks again!) - The warm rooms (I am already missing warm floor heating) - Felt like I had the place to myself (There were other guests but didn’t run into them often) - Great for first time visitors to Korea like me (close to train and buses, close to shopping street area, super fairy godmother-like Mrs. Lee to help you out just a quick text away)

Mrs. Lee got everything down and runs this place well. I can’t think of any points needed for improvement.

Handy location accessible with public transports, with a host that's very kind, friendly and helpful who met me at the metro station. Clean room and properties, with facility to do laundry which comes in very handy as I was travelling light for a multiple-weeks trip. The host (auntie ET, or ET imo) also suggested places to eat with good value for money, along with other tips provided upon request.

The room was by the main entrance, so dependant on the guests coming and going, it could get noisy at times.

The owner greeted me and was very lovely helping with my luggage and also allowing me to keep my suitcase there for a few hours after check out. The room was simple but offered all amenities needed for a short stay and the heated floor made winter in Seoul cosier than expected. The location was well connected to public transport incl. the airport bus. The area around the house is quiet, so good for your rest at night but it does not take long to reach nearby restaurants and be immersed in the hustle and bustle of Seoul.

The shower ceiling is a little low for small people and presents a challenge. The access to the rooms is as to be expected in an old building difficult if you have any mobility impairments (you have to climb a big step).

E.T 이모님 is what makes this stay truely special. She makes an effort to get to know you and makes itinerary suggestions based on your personal interests. Right from the moment of booking she reaches out to you and makes sure everything goes smoothly. It is a very homely stay in a fantastic location right next to public transport and many food and shopping options. Would stay here again without hesitation.

I wasn’t able to lock my room from the outside, but that didn’t bother me.

Super cozy traditional house type guesthouse. Just a 2 minute walk from Sinchon subway station and a great central location where you can find available anything you need. The room was very clean and warm inside, despite the coldest season. The shared bathroom outside in the yard was also clean and well maintained. There are only a small number of rooms so it was a quiet and felt really safe and private. It was a great experience overall and I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay. E.T. Imo is a lovely host and it was a pleasure meeting her.

To be honest, everything was amazing! The house is super cute and has everything you may need, plus its super easy to access. The address is perfect, its near touristic areas but the neighborhood is calm so its perfect to rest at night and make the best of your time on the rest of the day. E.T. 이모 is the sweetest person ever, she was super kind with us and recommended stuff for us to do (even told us she could help us for the rest of our korean trip). So 10/10, really, I would totally recommend it for others and I hope I can come back someday too!

I liked everything.

I had an amazing time at ICOS! The hanok (traditional Korean house) is conveniently located right by a subway station, and is also within walking distance of Hongdae (a really vibrant, young are of Seoul). All the other reviews are true - the hostess is what makes this gem of a place sparkle! She's incredibly kind, and warm, and went out of her way to pick me up from the subway station to help with my luggage at 10:30pm on a Saturday night in -10C (14F) tempertaures. She was also very easily accessible on KakaoTalk. I will definitely be using this spot as my place to stay in Seoul from now on!

Location wise, it is one of the best attractions particularly for the young people if they want to check the vibes of a Korean college ( Hongdae) campus neighborhood. There are so many alleys full of small fancy stores , gorgeous cafes and other hot restaurants. Let alone the small shops, there are a lot of big department stores and ' Instagram Photo friendly' hot spots. Also, the guesthouse is very near two exits of the subway, so you have easy access to other areas. And the guesthouse is one stop away from the airport train station. There, the trains depart quite often. I'm visiting here now in the freezing cold winter, so it is very convenient and warm to walk through the underground alleys and come out on to the streets through several exits. That's to say, you can walk across the boulevards in any direction underground. The gem of this place is the host. She welcomes her guests with great warmth, and helps out whenever the guests are in need. She seems always ready to help them when they run into unexpected situations, which is amazing for foreigners. For the last, this guesthouse is for Female Only. So, I would recommend this one for young ladies who want to stay in a safe place with a kind host like your aunt!

The experience of staying at a traditional house. The host was very friendly and responsive to all my questions and requests.

As a traditional house, I was not used to getting in and out of the room that’s it set higher from the ground. Getting heavy suitcases in and out was also a challenge. As there’s no central heating and only relying on heated floors and a heated blanket they provided, I found myself cold at times and did not sleep very well. I was surprised that there are also mosquitoes in the room which also affected my sleep at night and I got a few bites.

The house is super cute, I liked the room, it was small but comfortable, with a window and an AC. The Host is very nice and helpful. There were umbrellas in case of rain. It was very convenient transportation-wise, the metro and bus stations are really close.

It was a little hard to blow dry my hair because the power socket kept turning off. But it didn't really influence my opinion on the stay
