Location, comfort, cleanliness, amenities. Two minutes walking to a bus stop where all major lines into Madrid and to the train station stop. Great price and the lovely yet cheap 1 euro vending machine coffee in the hotel lobby.

We suspect that the staff went through our luggage when we were out as some money was gone and one jar of cream was empty. We had put up the do not disturb sign but the staff entered and cleaned the room anyway..and the theft was done in a way that it might fly under the radar (only some but not all money gone etc) and lead you to doubt yourself about your own memory.

The apartment was quite spacious, very new, and clean. There was a desk, which was great since I came for work. The staff were very nice and helpful. The apartment is well located—about a 15-minute walk to the city center and 20 minutes to the train station. It was quiet and had good air conditioning.

The kitchen was new and clean, but cooking was a bit difficult as there were no basic items like salt or sugar. Also, a kettle for boiling water wasn’t provided. When you arrive, it's important to ask for cutlery at the reception—if you don't ask, they won't provide it. I didn’t know this and ended up spending two days with a completely empty kitchen 😆

It was a newly renovated hotel with spacious apartments. It was very clean both, the room and the toilet. It is located in a very quiet area, near a playground. Also, there were plenty parking spots all around and it needed only 10-15 minutes on foot to go to the center. It is equipped with a kitchen, and they give you a box with sanitized cooking utensils. The cleaning lady comes every day to make the room. Totally satisfied and highly recommended. For sure, I will stay there another time.

Only one minor issue. Sometimes, the Wi-Fi (for seconds) didn't work. Everything, even the EXITS, where written on Spanish language.

the room is sooo big and always cleaned everyday by the staff. The location is right next to a bus stop and near the city centre (like 15 mins walking). I felt so comfortable there. Totally recommend.

The only thing missing is the fact that they don't have a breakfast option but apart from that honestly everything was perfect.

Was just OK for my purposes (get to somewhere for some nights to take rest after busy days). Was big enough, everything was working.

Even if it was an apartment the kitchen was 'empty'. I had to ask for some things at the reception. But, small thinks like paper towel, washing liquid, etc were still missing.

The room was very quiet and we'll equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is pleasant and peaceful. Good value for money.

The receptionists can't even say 'buenos dias' or 'buenas tardes'. Always looking at their phones, the girls have no social skills at all. I guess that's true for 80% of young ones but they looked as if they were there because they had no choice. No customer service skills whatsoever. Unable to give any information about surroundings! I've worked in hotels and it's sad that people are taken on for their pretty faces. Why would people work at a job they obviously dislike? When I asked for room service, I expected they'd vacuum the floor but no, despite having left no objects so as to make it easier for the housekeeper. The bathroom was cleaned everyday and that's good enough, I guess.

Good location and clean

Iron box is not provided, an essential stuff for business travellers. Earlier the hotel used to provide, but during my recent stay, the receptionist told that they do not provide iron box anymore, which was a huge let down for me since it is not be good to wear creased dress for meetings.

We really liked that the hotel was very clean. From our room to bathroom and the hallways, everything was very clean. We have been amazed by the quiet atmosphere. We did not hear any loud noises during the day and even during the night. The view from the 3rd floor was amazing. The staff were very nice too. We had a great experience at Apartahotel Golden Alcala.

The room is basic but it has all you need. It is rather large and clean. There is a kitchen annex that you can use if you want (you need to pay a fine of 20 euros at the reception for utensils). The bed is comfortable, the bathroom has basic products and a hairdryer. There is a nice, typical Spanish bar downstairs (in the same building), good for traditional Spanish breakfast and tapas.

The bar downstairs is nice but can also be very loud at night.

The room is large and modern. they were nicely cleaned upon arrival. There is no breakfast but there is a cafe right next to the hotel and they serve breakfast. We pay 10 EUR for 2 people. It is a quiet area and with a playground for children close to the hotel.
