This is the third time we have stayed the night here, on our way to the ferry at Santander. The hotel is conveniently placed near the motorway and so easy to find. We have a basic room in the new part of the hotel where you can park right by your door. The room has plenty of space, comfy bed and a large ensuite. Nice and quiet. A buffet breakfast in the morning is served in the main hotel in a lovely room . there is such a large variety of breakfast foods, you are spoiled for choice. We always enjoy our stay here, the staff are all so friendly and helpful and a great price too.

I can fully understand the great reviews for this hotel and well justified too. We have just stayed over here and the staff are so nice. It is also very dog friendly and the rooms are great too. Although we never used the restaurant it certainly looked good as did the cafeteria. There is a nice little shop, also dog friendly and fuel station on site, and in fact an area fenced in for your dog. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this hotel. Good size room and large bathroom, large very comfortable single beds push together as a double, I used the disabled room, good support bars around the toilet, a proper shower chair to use in the shower ,this is my third visit here , but the first time using this room I will use this hotel again

I wish the shower had a support rail on the wall , the heating is very poor in the bedroom cold the temperature gauge made no real difference, it was necessary to use the spare duvets on the bed from the wardrobe , no heating in the bathroom , this might be local to my room as another couple I spoke to said they had a warm room , this won't stop me using this hotel but not this room in winter

The main building and breakfast room is a stunning old building. The welcome at check in was very good and helpful in clear English. The breakfast was very good with something for everyone. The dinner at night in the adjacent restaurant Asador was excellent and made even better with the 15% discount voucher given at check in. Good food and service. It was a perfectly located dog friendly one night stop off on our way to the ferry port at Santander. We asked for a ground floor room with the dog and they gave us one. Good sized towels in the bathroom.

We did have a dog friendly room so it might not have been one of their better ones. The room was basically furnished but very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom, although clean, was quite tired looking with cracked tiles. The only reason we didn’t give the stay top marks.

The welcome was very warm and my room was ready even though I was a little early. The room was warm and very comfortable. As ever, Tudanca Aranda 11 surpassed my expectations. The staff and friendly and happy, the facilities are great as is parking - right outside the rooms. The restaurant has a menu del noche, very good but I visited the cafe early this time and that food was superb too with a lively atmosphere. Love staying here. Highly recommended.

We liked that it was so convenient, we stayed on our way down the country and on our way back to the boat.. On our way we stayed in a ground-floor room which was perfect, I requested the same room for our stopover on the way back and they were so helpful and put us in the same room as we had requested. We didn't get to enjoy the restaurant, even though dogs were welcome in it, ours would've misbehaved so we didn't avail of the amenity .

The only 1 thing that would've been nice would have been if coffee/tea facilities were in the room. We managed without. .

Great stop over point for travelling on main north south motorway. Basic room with en suite. All that I need on my travels. Restaurant/ cafe / shop complex, also adjacent fuel station. I stayed in the 'motel' accommodation. The main hotel may have more eating facilities. Parking excellent with underground secure parking at extra cost if preferred.

I might have been unlucky but at the cafe my tortilla was unrecognisable, inedible and expensive. This facility may well not be connected with hotel.

Right off the motorway, a fabulous Hotel with 2* and 4* accommodation. I stayed in the 2* accommodation (again) and it is lovely. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, ample parking, restaurant on site, also filling station, everything you need in one spot. Highly recommended.

The ONE gripe I had was the soap/shower gel - it was on the wall but you had to squeeze the bottle instead of pressing a plunger as normal. With arthritic thumbs, I found this almost impossible.

Location, friendly helpful staff, plenty of choice for eating. A designated dog walking area and a garage to fill up for our onward journey

The bathroom. No hooks or hangers to hang your clothes on while showering, even a hook behind the door would help. No shower curtain. The floor becomes so wet it is presents a danger of slipping to everyone. Perhaps one English TV news station would be nice instead of all Spanish.

The location of this hotel is a big plus, but the restaurant is certainly another. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely evening meal with the local wine. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like anything about our stay but you have to expect sombre decorated rooms, with a shower that drenches the bathroom, and we thought it odd that although our dog was welcome in the main restaurant he wasn’t in the hotel breakfast room. We, instead had to pitch over to the Cafeteria. Wouldn’t stop us staying again, if only for the excellent restaurant.
