Already the first impression is very good. From the entrance you overlook a green and lush courtyard with lot of places to sit down and enjoy. The first floors passages are held up with wooden pillars nicely painted in dark red. I was for some reason upgraded from a single room to a very well equipped two bedroom apartment on the second floor. Kitchen and bathroom was of very good standard. The street outside gets beautiful illuminated in the autumn evenings.

There are three different levels in the apartment with small steps between, easy to miss the first day or so.

Aranjuez is a gem - easy to get around and relaxing. The hostal is in an excellent location to explore the town on foot. The public areas are very charming; our room is basic but comfortable and clean. Communication was great and the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good: good coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice and choice of a toasted ham and cheese sandwich or croissant. This part of town is not hard to drive around in.. In April, we didn't have much difficulty finding a parking spot on the street a few blocks away and we left it there for 2 nights.

The apartment was super nice, it was very clean, and it was very comfortable for four people. The location is also very nice, very close to the city center and palace. But the best part was the staff of the hotel which was always super helpful, and willing to help.

It was quite clean, bed were quite confortable, and the area was very quite. We slept very very well. The staff was very helpful and nice.

It's obviously not a Parador but way more comfortable and personal. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Great location for a halfway stopover between Santander and Malaga with easy access.

Great B&B in centre of town, near bars, restaurants and transport. Clean room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Wonderful plant filled courtyard. Bike friendly. Highly recommend.

A very charming hotel. Rooms were nice and very different from one another. Staff was friendly and attentive. A small misunderstanding re kitchen in the room was solved in a matter of seconds, thank you.

The breakfast did not have anything with meat, think sandwiches or ham. We are not vegetarians so we chose to eat breakfast outside.

The hotel is lovely: the inner courtyard is peaceful with lots of plants and small tables where one can sit outside. My room was large with everything one needs and good, spacious bathroom. Comfortable bed. It was quiet at night. I would happily have stayed longer. It is an easy walk to the gardens.

Very basic accommodation but they had boiling water available downstairs so good to be able to make a cup of coffee. No kettle in bedrooms
