Arta is a picturesque, quiet inland town. The Nema boutique hotel - little, tranquil and well-attended - perfectly suits the mood of the place. Our room with balcony was clean and nicely renovated (the sockets for both USB-A and USB-C charger types is a well-thought feature). The balcony offered a promised view over the roofs, green hills behind them and mountains in the background. The window in the bathroom was a feature especially appreciated in Mallorca´s humid climate. We loved the breakfast selection (great avocados - so ripe!), including the freshly made egg dishes. There was also a bar which served drinks and deserts throughout the day. One could also make use of a dinner offer, but we decided to explore the local restaurants, as there were some worthy options in the close proximity to the hotel. The pool area, with surrounding garden, is very accommodating. It is however on a smallish side, and those few pairs of sun-beds by the pool are always in high demand.

About downsides: room, although nice, was quite small. The mosquitos were abundant at dusk (so make sure to bring some repellent). One night the neighbours in the house nearby had a fiesta that lasted well into the night, and it was extremely loud (so much for the tranquil resort!). This was not the hotel’s fault per se, nonetheless, they should establish right relationships with the neighbours, drawing the lines where necessary.

We had the most wonderful time at The Nema. The staff were so kind and helpful from the minute we walked in, to the (sad) minute we had to leave! The hotel is family owned and you feel like an extended part of the family. The room we had was a very comfortable size and spotlessly cleaned every day. We slept exceptionally well in the huge king-size bed. Our pretty little balcony overlooked the plunge pool and the beautifully maintained fragrant garden. We booked the spa one afternoon, all to ourselves, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna which was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was fresh, varied and tasty with the option to order omelette, scrambled or fried eggs. The buffet choices included amongst lots of other things: freshly squeezed juice, good coffee, smoked salmon, avocado and their own homemade Mallorcan delicacies and pastries. We were so sad to have to leave but will definitely be back!

Absolutely everything. From the minute you walk in to go through to the bar area/ dining room to the outside courtyard / pool area to your room everything is so beautiful, clean and aesthetic. Service was impeccable and the owner was so kind and lovely. Gorgeous breakfast buffet and menu too and kitchen staff were lovely. Thank you we will definitely return to this gorgeous hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and Arta a lovely town. Staff were incredibly friendly and dinner and breakfast excellent. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable (you can see the aesthetics were considered very carefully). The Spa was a lovely addition.

It didn't affect us as we were only there for one night but the pool area was very small so if everyone decided to relax during the day at the same time, there wouldn't have been space. Having said that, it was all beautifully done!

I love this hotel. This was our second visit and it does not disappoint. The aesthetic is scandi-chic mixed with Mallorca. The staff are delightful. The food is great. Location is perfect. We will be back next year!

Literally everything was perfect. The hotel itself was beautiful and the staff were lovely, it felt luxurious. The pool and outdoor space was so nice, and we enjoyed using the spa every day. The breakfast was immaculate! We will be staying here when we return to Mallorca! The location of the hotel was also perfect for us, the town was more authentic and less touristy.

Small boutique hotel, very aesthetic, quiet and relaxing. Helpful and friendly staff. Swimming pool ares so green and calming, good and clean spa. Breakfasts were unbelievable - fresh bread, eggs, fruits-all local and yummy. Close to local church and city center.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful hotel,rooms, staff, breakfast. Our best stay in recent years in this category. Very goog advices for beaches, restaurants and sigthseeing.

Nothing what referred to the hotel. But some clients could be more attentive! Don’t go straight in the pool when you are sweaty. It was more than 35 degrees Celcius and people just jumped in the tiny pool without having a shower before. In this category it is also not nice to bring drinks from outside to the terrace or the pool. The hotel has very reasonable prices for drinks. I think that 19€ for a bottle of wine at the pool is not too much.

Nice new hotel in walking distance to the town centre of Arta. Our room was on the street but it was quiet at night. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Loved the Spa after a long day of hiking! Breakfast was very good, there were a lot of vegan options available. Friendly and helpful staff.

Coffee was not good! Please get a better machine!

The property is perfectly located within Artà, and you can get to restaurants, shops and nearby attractions within a 5 min walk. The hotel itself is really lovely, modern and very clean with spa facilities, and a very nice outdoor area with pool. The service was really good from all the staff, attentive without being invasive.

Really liked pretty much everything about the hotel, only minor criticism would be the breakfast offering is quite limited - only small continental breakfast option.
