It was really decent for the price and I got upgraded from a single to a double which I really appreciated as it was more comfortable

There was a smart fridge that overcharged me for an item I didn’t take which felt like too much admin to try and get back, but it was about 4euros it over charged me. On the day of my check out, housekeeping banged on my door at 9am. I had gone to bed at 3am, hoping to wake up closer to check out, but I could t get back to sleep after. I didn’t expect housekeeping to come so early otherwise I’d have put the do not disturb sign on the door.

Comfortable beds, can adjust the temperature. Close to transportation, bus and metro, nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to the airport. Staff is nice, my friends requested a room change in the middle of the night (due to the glass door, and the window not closing properly in their room), but the staff was accommodating and offered them another room.

Glass door for the bathroom, even though frosted, didn't offer too much privacy (also not closing properly). Not all rooms are the same though. Didn't bother changing it, but if requested, staff will help. I heard a lot of properties in BCN are having this kind of bathroom doors. Just a heads up for other visitors.

The lady that s cleaning the room is amazing. The room was spotless, the 2 ladies at the desk very helpful and finally the breakfast is a game changer for the hotel. The location too is very convenient with the metro near by, some good restaurants, shops not so far away

The premium room we were offered was a pure disaster, but speaking with the ladies at the desk we were offered free of charge a much better room with some nice view over the street. The ladies were more helpful than the guy we met the night we arrived. The premium room does not do justice to the hotel , it is great place to stay honestly…. A top spot

A Wonderful Stay Near Sagrada Familia! We had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel just a few days ago. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome – everyone was kind, helpful, and genuinely attentive. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and we were impressed by how fast and professional the room service was. It really added to the overall comfort of our stay. The location is also a major highlight – just a short walk from the Sagrada Familia and close to many other popular tourist attractions, making it super convenient for exploring the city. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Barcelona!

The room in this hotel was amazing — very clean and cozy. There was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, which was a nice touch. Housekeeping came every day, and towels were changed regularly. The staff at the reception were also very friendly and helpful. After we checked out, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and enjoy a walk before our flight without having to carry our bags. That was really convenient! I definitely recommend this hotel!

The room was quite hot, and we couldn’t figure out the air conditioning — it actually heated the room instead of cooling it. We ended up sleeping with the window open.

The hotel is near the metro station Clot. The staff of the hotel are very accommodating especially Jess. There is a free cocktail and one bottle of water on your first day. Our room is spacious and cleaned every day. They replenish the supplies like coffee, milk, and tissues. They also changed the towels every day. The food in the restaurant is good and there’s a lot of options. We paid our breakfast in the hotel worth €17 and it is unlimited buffet. The location is also near to the Sagrada Familia like 20 mins walk and 12 mins by train.

I stayed at Catalonia Sagrada Familia for one night during my visit to Barcelona (12–13 May) and found it to be a convenient and comfortable option for a short stay. Check-In & Welcome: Check-in was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, offering quick guidance on nearby attractions and transport. The lobby was welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere. Room: The room was clean and functional — not overly spacious but well-maintained, with all the essentials in place. The bed was comfortable, and despite being a central location, the room was relatively quiet. The bathroom was also clean, with decent amenities and water pressure. Location: The hotel is well-situated, just a short walk from Clot metro and train station, which made it easy to travel around the city and get to the airport. It’s not right next to the Sagrada Familia itself, but still within a walkable distance. There are also a few local cafes and supermarkets nearby. Facilities: Since I stayed only one night, I didn’t get a chance to explore many of the hotel’s additional facilities. However, I noted that they have a small pool and gym, which would be nice for longer stays. Room for Improvement: The decor and furnishings are a little dated, and the air conditioning was not very strong. For a longer stay, that might have been more of a concern, but for one night it was manageable. Overall Impression: Catalonia Sagrada Familia is a practical and reasonably priced choice for short stays in Barcelona. The location is well-connected, the rooms are clean, and the staff are welcoming. I would consider staying again for a short city visit.

While my overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas that could be improved: The air conditioning in the room was quite weak, which made the space feel slightly warm, especially in the evening. The interior and furnishings felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh to match modern expectations. Though clean, the room size was compact, which may not be ideal for longer stays or travellers with a lot of luggage. These were relatively minor issues for a one-night stay, but addressing them would definitely enhance guest comfort for future visits.

The hotel is clean. The F&B staff was good. Some of the Guest services staff were OK, but some were stand offist.

It is located in the residential area. You can see clothings hanging on the balcony. It's a bit scary to walk down at night. The room we have was very small. My daughter had to side walk to past the bed to get to the toilet. I have to step on my suitcase when I need to go as well. It was hap hazard. I told them about it and they said that's what I booked and if I want to get a bigger room I have to pay 30.00 euro extra per night, anyways I was too tired to argue, so we decided to move out and went to Madrid instead the following day. I did not like the area anyway. It's full of graffiti. It looks like a rough neighbourhood!

The property was clean with good rooms. The staff were friendly and on an evening the bar and restaurant area had staff to attend your needs. The main reception was well maintained.

The property is quite far from main tourist attractions. Throughout the day the bar area and restaurant are not manned by staff so I could not order any food in the hotel. The main pool area was locked so you could not go outside. It is very noisy in the evenings and early mornings, some guests stand in the corridors and talk very loudly and didn’t have appreciation for other guests trying to sleep.

The receptionist asked me if i prefer a high floor with city view room , which is a plus, room was great in size for a solo traveler equipped with coffee machine and tea and a complementary mineral water, the front desk was so helpful in providing a good information for a first time traveler to Barcelona, Location is very prime near to Sagrada church and to Metro station, many supermarket , cafes and restaurants are nearby.

The elevator as too old and has some noise but it working, I was afraid to every time i took the ride to go up to my room but it was working fine at the end.
