A very convenient location in a lovely neighbourhood with easy metro access to the airport and key tourist spots. The hotel borders the old city filled with pintxo bars and restaurants. It’s nice to stroll around the areas. Very good value for money considering how expensive Barcelona accommodation is. The two receptionists we engaged with have both been very kind and helpful especially as we do not speak Spanish. Even though the room and bathroom were small, they were practically laid out so that there was sufficient space for luggages.
Nothing.

Conveniently located right by the metro on a busy street with lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes. The room was clean and compact and had a tv with live channels and apps such as Netflix which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom was much nicer than you would expect from a hostel so we were very pleased. The best this about this hotel was easily the reception staff. They could not have been more friendly! One of my highlights of the holiday was easily the lovely man at the reception desk who waved us in and out of the hotel every evening with a huge smile on his face :) I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Barcelona

The hotel is nice. We had a room with a bathroom. There is not much space, but there is everything you need: comfortable beds (we had beds connected, because I was with my husband), a large wardrobe, a table, a shower, a toilet. Everything is very comfortable. I was glad that there was a kitchen where you could drink tea for free. We were also given 2 coffee capsules as a gift. The staff is very friendly. They speak English well. They met us, told us everything in detail and showed us. The room was clean and comfortable enough.
The only drawbacks are a small noise from the street, because the windows overlook the road. But generally tolerable.

We loved the hostel, we were worried when we read the comments but we didn’t experience anything bad. We stayed 4 nights without any problems 😊 The check-in was at 13.00 but staff was super friendly and they took our luggage prior to check-in. Also, when we asked they let us in the room at 12.00 which was super appreciated. The room was big enough for 2 people, it was very clean. They were cleaning the rooms everyday and changing the towels if you need to. The room had A/C and a smart TV. The room didn’t had hair dryer but when we asked for it, they provided us the hair dryer. The bed was okay, staff was super friendly! ( they used translators to talk with us, it was sweet) Location was great, 2min walking to the bus and metro. Bus took us to the Barceloneta beach in 20-25 min. Metro was 3 station away to the city centre. Hostel was one of the main streets(parallel) it was a bit noisy but it didn’t bother us. We felt totally safe. We felt it was even safer than the city centre. Next to the hostel there are several supermarkets, fast food restaurants and bakeries. Also we bought our own beach umbrella at max home which was right across the hostel (it was %50 cheaper than the city center).
Bed wasn’t comfortable enough

First of all, it was my first time traveling to Barcelona and transporting to the hostel from Airport was very easy because of the central location of the hostel. Roberto and Angelica, the receptionists were so helpful, smiling and welcoming. They helped me with many things and take initiative about a problem with my check-in when they see my difficult situation. The hospitality was great since the beginning and until we left. Besides that, the room was so clean and bed was comfortable. Everything I needed was in there. I slept so well and I was feeling safe both because of the location but especially the trustworthy workers. Plus that, you can get coffee, tea and water everytime you need from the lobby and the Internet is powerful. They also have discount cards in the lobby for the museums and touristic places and thanks to them we saved 7 euros per person In Casa Batllo :)). The workers are willing to help and I think it is the most important part of the hostel choosing process because most of the visitors are foreigners and have minor and major problems. Since the place and people were safe, I wasn’t very scared about getting into trouble with my staying. Thanks a lot to the workers especially to the Angelica and Roberto. I will definitely choose to stay here when I visit the city again. -Zeynep from İstanbul, Turkey.
There is nothing I did not like about the property.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They were not perfect in English, but everything worked out with Google translate. The place was extremely clean, and kept my luggage safe for 11 hours after check out. They also offered free water, tea and coffee. Something I forgot to mention is that I was able to check in after midnight after my flight got delayed, as the 24 hours reception doubles as 24 hours check in.
It was a bit pricey for the size of the room and the shared bathroom, but do not take my word for it as I do not travel a lot and do not know the price of other hotels. Also the bathroom was only shared by two rooms and I was lucky enough that the other room was not occupied.

The bed was comfortable and I liked the view from our window. I liked the ample storage and how the shower had an interesting glass feature that allowed me to watch my child while showering. Their refreshment room was nice and I liked the green room too. There was a small kitchen with a sizeable shared fridge to keep food. I liked the location, being very near Poble Station and also surrounded by nice bakeries and eateries. The Receps and cleaning crew were wonderful and I appreciated their friendliness but only one was fluent in English but with Google translate, it wouldn't be much of an issue as the wifi worked beautifully.
The heating on the air-conditioner was not working and we had 2 of the Receps look in on it and one solved it but it went back to Sq 1 once we switched it off. They did manage to repair it by the last day of our stay but by then we'd learnt how to work the radiator and could rely on that. The beds were 2 beds pushed together. Lastly, the shower is small but for us it was fine, but those taller or larger may find it an issue.

The room was clean and the beds were very confortable. Its position is very good, right next to the Poble Sec metro station and 15 min away by foot from the beach or center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a nice and convenient stay!
Maybe the fact that there was no heat, except the air conditioning, which made the air a bit too heavy and not so fresh. But that is a general thing in Spain, they don’t really have radiators or so.

Location perfect, next to metro stop just three stations from Rambla and Gothic quarter, on the other side a walk's distance from Monjuic, with lovely nature and views of the city. Also it has supermarkets, bakeries and pubs nearby. Staff are all very kind and helfpul, reception was always open throughout the day, we were also helped to leave our luggage earlier than check in and after check out due to late flight. Room was basic but very neat and clean, also it was tidies up every day which is phenomenal. Common area has a table with tea/coffe which is also All in all good value for money.
The only potential problem for light sleepers is poor sound isolation, it can be heard people walking or talking in the hallway, or the water running, but overall it's quiet and there was no noise in the quiet hrs.
