Comfy mattresses, quiet at night in spite of lots of people staying, and being right in the old quarter. Really friendly staff with amazing language skills. Felt secure for my young children. Good wifi. Very clean toilets and showers. We were grateful for the fan in the bedroom and in the communal dining area. I liked that the shower areas are separate for boys and girls. 24 hour checkin/access is superhelpful too.

I guess everything costs more these days but I was surprised at the price. The kitchen is short on cutlery and crockery (even for four people!) and the fridge needs someone to be much more ruthless with chucking things out. A roll of stickers and an indelible pen would help, and be strict about labelling.

The hotel is modestly situated in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, tucked away in a narrow alley, which makes it a bit tricky to find. Housed in an old building, it maintains a cozy, homey atmosphere with simple yet comfortable furnishings. The rooms feature metal bunk beds with somewhat comfortable mattresses and pillows, and each bed comes with its own locker for storage. Shared facilities include two toilets per floor, serving approximately six rooms, and well-designed showers that are particularly comfortable to use. While the building is old, it is exceptionally well-maintained and kept very clean. The hotel also offers a small but efficiently arranged kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals. I personally cooked pasta and even made smashed bacon burgers with a salad, so cooking here is definitely an option. Overall, I’d rate this place a 10 out of 10. It’s cozy, clean, and full of character, making it a great place to stay.

I loved the location and the facilities, very convenient and comfortable. Toilet is separate from showers, and the showers room had sinks so it’s great for when there are many people around at the same time. Also a dining room where you could eat your lunch and not have to do it in your room. Finally, our room was in the third floor and it had an elevator so that was good for people who might need it.

Unfortunately, you have to expect a lot of noise at night, both in the hostel and on the street. Plenty of drunk people shouting outside and some hosts slamming doors and speaking loudly on the hallways. I brought my earplugs so it wasn’t too bad.

Everything was perfect (large room with wardrobe for every person). I will stay there again next time I will be in Barcelona. It's also perfect if you need to study or work remotely and want a piece of quiet. Well equipped kitchen. It was was perfect after coming back from sithgseeing to relax as you are close to teh port and the beach. The place is close to supermarkets, metro and bus stations. By foot you are already in the city center. Very good communication with the owner.

Got fresh bedding as usual but also towel and padlock which was a nice surprise, room was small but clean and had spacious lockers. Small balcony with a nice view over streets. Clean bathrooms, toilets, separate for males and females. Small kitchen for everyone to use in case they want to cook. Someone at the reception for 24h, you can check in and out at anytime and always someone to talk if need help. Nice location, close to the old town, restaurants and interesting spots.

For the price I paid everything was okay. Small rooms but had a table and chair which is not always a case. I really have nothing bad to say, enjoyed my stay there.

Direct in the Gothic part of the city, close to La Rambla and Cathedral. Coffees, shops, restaurants just on the corner. I really liked the view from our balcony. Staff is excellent, and everyone speaks very good English. We could leave our luggage in the hostel, they have a separate luggage locker.

The room was noisy, not for easy sleeper:) The streets are quiet only 1-5 am. The room was not so comfortable, but OK for a sleep. The beds were also not very safe, we didn't let kids sleep on upper beds.

The location was excellent , close to the Cathedral and good restaurants. The room was clean and the shared bathroom was easily accessible and was nearly empty during our stay. Common shower and toilets were also clean and maintained. The staff were very welcoming . Additionally there is a free luggage room to keep your luggage.

At night there were few disturbances from other guests and from a restaurant opposite the hostel . But it was manageable as between 12-7 it was quiet

I’d say it’s a good hostel for a short stay, just like ours was. The hotel is in an excellent location in the Gothic Quarter, within walking distance of many of the city's attractions, as well as a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. Considering what’s generally available in Barcelona, I believe this accommodation offers a good balance between price and quality, especially given that the room is private. The bathroom was clean and accessible without any crowding, allowing for comfortable and uninterrupted use.

Only downside is if you travel in summer, note there is no air conditioning anywhere in the building, so you’ll sweat as soon as you get out the shower and throughout the night

Needless to say the location is amazing, I mean staying in the Gothic Quarter is magical as it is. The staff was very helpful and kind. You have everything you need in a walking distance and a metro station nearby. Surrounded with all kinds of places, cocktail bars, alternative bars, fancy restaurants and trashy suspicious dumps, a little something for everyone. Don't be scared or surprised by the people offering you drugs on the streets at night, they do that also in daylight, it's just the atmosphere of the whole region there.

Okay this one is a bit tricky, it's not that is the hostels fault but somehow a bit it is. The first two nights people in the rooms next to ours were very loud, and we could hear everything since we even shared a terrace with one room. I guess you can't put sanity into people but the reception could have at least tell them to keep quiet since it lasted till 5 am in the morning. On the second night we had to do something, we couldn't sleep at all. Also the beds were a bit uncomfortable and very squeaky.
