Excellent spot for a quick night in Barcelona on my way home to the US. Great location near La Rambla and easy metro trip to the Sagrada Familia (less than 20 minutes). There's a lively square just steps away with cafes, live music, and entertainment in the evenings. I had a single room with bath and it was very small with a window into a light well, but it was clean and comfortable and I only slept there, so it was all I needed. People at the front desk were so nice and arranged for a taxi to the airport for me for the next morning. If you want luxury, it's not your place, but if you want safe, quiet, clean accommodations close to everything, this place has it. Speaking of quiet, I read some reviews that said it was noisy, but I didn't hear a sound! I was on the second floor near reception, so I thought I might hear people coming in late, but not a peep!

Like all accommodations in Barcelona, it was expensive for what you get, but the other places I looked were even more! (And if you're going to Barcelona to *save* money, you're going to be very disappointed.)

Great location. Daily cleaning, 24/7reception.

Thin walls. U could hear the conversation in the next room. Also they have this policy to leave the key at reception (2nd floor) and if u need to go to your room u need to go up and down

Amazing location: 2 different metro lines reachable by foot in 10 mins + Gotic area / Ramblas street right in front so a lot to sight see around + great grocery store with reasonable price right below(around the corner) / great fruit market in few steps + walkable till the beach (abt 15 mins) Clean room, bathroom + cleaning service every day + spacy room Friendly staff + recommendation of bar and restaurants + Taxi hailing service + luggage keeping for free + early check in for it's availability Okay-noise from 4 th floor. -> this might be because our room was located in quieter corner of the street(it was smaller and less croweded street) + mindful neighboring room Reasonable price! With a separate bathroom + spacy room + room service + nice functioning elevator 24 hrs reception with a person

People who get a room on 3rd floor has only choice to climb up the stairs from 2nd floor Having to leave the key at the reception(2nd floor) every time we come and go - for us it was fine Having to buzz the reception to open the main entrance: 9out of 10 times they responded immediately so it wasn't a big prob.

Hostel was super nice with a very good location, close to metro lines L3 and L4 (just between them), and also near the buses. It’s located right in the Gothic Quarter, close to everything, and really close to La Rambla and Boqueria. The room was clean, with air conditioning, a private bathroom with hot water, and towels (2 per person). Even the system where you have to give the room key to the reception every time you leave didn’t bother me at all, because there’s always someone at the front desk, 24/7. I had a great stay.

The location is really central. The reception ladies and gents were really nice and helpful. We arrived earlier, but our room was ready and and after check out we could leave our baggage in a storage. The room is smaller, but clean (and it was cleaned every day of our 3 night stay). It was quiet, although, you could hear people walk in our out of the neighouring room - it didn´t bother us. Oh and there is a kettle on the room , so bring your tea with you. There is a store just under the Hostal, very well served. And try Soul Cafe for a healthy breakfast.

We didn´t expect much, but if I have to state something here, it is the lack of windows leading to the street.

The accommodation was close to a lot of main attractions such as Mercardo La Boqueria, La Ramblas, Gothic Quarter and Casa Batllo (20 minute walk). The staff were lovely and the room and towels were replaced everyday. Downstairs there is a supermarket around the corner to get cold drinks as there is no mini fridge in the rooms but there is a vending machine and coffee machine near reception. There is a lift and aircon that works and after a day of walking in the heat it always helped. This place is good value for money.

I like the service they're very helpful , it's a little a bit close of everything we did not rent a car but we did use the metro it's a must if you want to visit everything in Barcelona ,the hostal is about 25 min on foot from barceloneta , la boqueria was close too we did visit paseo de gracia on foot but la Sagrada familia was very far and the station of Barcelona Sants too . In conclusion it's good place to stay , we slept very well ,the price was reasonable too

the room was a little bit not clean , and the hostal is at the second floor so it was a little hard for us but they have the ascensor that we didn't use because it looks scary

We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The stay was of great value since Barcelona is quite expensive. The room is basic but if you don't need a 5 star stay you will be happy. The beds are comfy and the cleaners came each day. The staff were helpful when our flight got cancelled due to a storm. Overall happy with our stay!

There are no views from the room... but seriously not a big deal as you are right in the gothic quarter so just leave your room!

I recently stayed at this hostel and was pleasantly surprised by the amenities in the single room, which included a private bathroom. The cleanliness exceeded my expectations for a hostel of this star category. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall comfort level was quite satisfactory for a hostel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and clearly prioritize guest safety. The reception is manned 24/7, which adds to the sense of security. Additionally, the hostel's central location makes it easy to reach various attractions either on foot or via the nearby metro station.

The most I like about the Hostal is the Location, reception, personal, clean and to the point, it’s a value for money, when you are in Barcelona, you only need a clean room, bathroom and bed , and that’s it ,you get what you paid for with optimum service, I’ll be back again

Small You have to leave the key, it’s not a deal but when you are in another floor from the reception, you have to go there first , other than this it’s just fine
