The room was very nicely located, a was very affordable compared to other hotels in the area. We liked that fact that we could leave our key at the reception and we got it back when returning, that way we didn't have to worry about it. The room was also very spacious, the toilet good and the little balcony a plus.

We didn't really mind but it's something to be aware of - there are a few stairs at the entrance of the hotel and in general to get to the rooms, so if you've got large suitcases it's something to be prepared for. Once again, we didn't mind a lot, but if you're a light sleeper prepare a sleep mask (the room doesn't get completely dark) and earplugs because it gets quite loud at night (which is to be expected since the location is so central).

This hotel is nice, simple, exactly what we expected

- Bed was extremely squeaky, noisy, every time you sit down, get up, move, change position at night - bed makes loud squeaky noises , it can wake you up. - bed is very hard, if you don’t like hard mattresses might be a problem for you - there was only one big long pillow on double bed, it was uncomfortable to sleep . It would be better to have two separate pillows.

We got upgraded to a room that had an ensuite! Our room was very clean, spacious and felt very new. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. We liked having a TV in our room. There was a kettle in the main entrance area which we used a lot for drinks. The staff were very helpful and kind. We used a few of the discount tickets they had on offer in the reception. The location is great - 2 minutes walk from la Ramblas and a metro station. This made it very easy to get around. Our room was on the first floor and when the shower or toilet was used on the second floor, it sounded like Niagra Falls was above us.

Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful! Reception was open 24hr, which was one of the reasons for booking as we landed in Barcelona early hours of the morning. Location was perfect, nice and central for what we wanted, 10 min walk to aerobus stop. Was also really nice to be able to store our luggage in check out day for the day, until it was time to head back to the airport.

Nothing really, only grumbles would be that the walls were thin and you could hear neighbours very clear. And it wasn't the most aesthetic, but this was clear on listing, it was as described and expected.

The location is great. Overall, it was rather quiet and comfortable. The facilities were ok, although bathroom floors were sometimes wet after someone had taken a shower there.

Perhaps, everything could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly. The room was generally clean, but then some hair was on the floor. Same applies to the bathroom. Also, not sure why they insist on leaving the room key at the reception when leaving the hotel. Perhaps, it's just an old tradition, but rather inconvenient because there is always only one person at the reception, and you sometimes have to wait to get your key while he is dealing with other guest.

It was the cheapest accomodation with a private bathroom. Did not expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. The location is very central, of La Rambla, 1 minute to metro station, bathroom was newly renovated and it was very clean with the towels smelling really fresh, even if they didn't look the best. AC and TV. Small room, no view, but I think that is what you get in the Gothic Quartier. Seeing what the prices are in the city, this was a good price-quality ratio.

Amazing location, super nice staff, comfortable bed. The room was very clean and bigger than I expected for the price. Having a fridge, kettle and microwave in the common area is awesome for people travelling on a budget - I could make my own coffee and keep yogurt and milk in the fridge for breakfast. Appreciate that reception is staffed 24/7 - it made me feel safe. Yes, there is noise from the street outside - but what are people expecting when they book a room directly next to one of the busiest streets in the tourist district? Bring earplugs and you'll have no problems!

Not the best shower, weak water pressure and temperature varies a bit. Once I had a nice hot shower, once it barely got warm.

Perfect location in my favourite part of the city.Close to everything and a nice quiet room at the back. Comfortable bed apart from being too hot. Powerful shower.Nice staff. Room cleaned daily.

Too hot in the room. Heater fully on all the time.Opened the window but wouldve liked to have been able to turn off the heater.The bed as a result, and because theres some sort of plastic sheeting on it, was unbearably hot. Otherwise it was a very comfortable bed.Had to sleep on the covers to stay cool. Room needs hooks for coats.Shower needs place to put soap etc

Very good location, 24h service staff, we stayed here for three days, it's really good value for money, next to the famous street, many small stalls selling things, and the famous Boligeia Market, the L3 subway station is just outside, it's really convenient

The room was very clean and someone came to clean it every day, but the toilet paper was not added in time, and I had to go to the reception downstairs to ask for it. The street was a little unsafe, and I could see homeless people and beggars. I should be able to avoid these by not going out at night. Overall it was a great

It is the perfect place to stay if you want to be at La Ramblas without blowing your budget. Very closed to Liceu metro station, bus station, beach and everything. Restaurants, even with choices of Halal food are plenty nearby. Facilities are perfect for our needs and staff are very welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. We were planning to add more days to stay longer but the place got fully booked easily,

It has stairs to go to the reception. It was ok for us, but it may not be suitable for those with some constraints.
