A wonderful hotel. The location is simply excellent — you’re staying right in the heart of everything interesting, with immediate access to the Latin Quarter, La Rambla, and the Boqueria Market. Daily housekeeping. Everything was clean. Maybe the towels weren’t as white as we would have liked, but we were too busy enjoying the city and the amazing location — and that’s what truly matters. Everything was perfect!

The room was very comfortable and we had great service. The front desk staff went as far as to recommend specific hikes at Montserrat and store our bags for us after check out. We had some neighbouring rooms throw a party all night our first night there, and they happily moved our room to a quieter location and dealt with the loud partiers.

The wifi was really quite slow, to the point where I just turned off my wifi and used my roaming data for things that were important or time sensitive. The hotel did sort of smell like sewer gas, as well, but I don't think that's the hotel's fault. The location in the gothic quarter in general seems to smell like that in general, so I think it just comes with the territory.

The location of the hotel is excellent, a few steps from las Ramblas and a 10 minute stroll to the beautiful Port. Reception staff, Manul, very helpful and friendly giving us advice on how to get around to get the most from our trip. Metro station right outside hotel, with trains running often and are easy to navigate to get to places like the Olympic stadium, Sagrada familia and Camp nou.

The room was a basic 3* , there was no tea or coffee making facilities in our room which was a superior double on the sixth floor. Clean but dated. The hotel does not have a dining area.

The location was absolutely fantastic. You're seconds from La Rambla and right at the edge of the gothic quarter. The staff were always helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a city break.

Due to its proximity to La Rambla, the noise was a little disruptive. It didn't bother us too much but if you're sensitive to noise it could be a problem. The room is pretty compact and you might struggle if you've multiple large suitcases (we only had 2 carry ons). The shower door didn't have a proper seal at the bottom so water was spilling out onto the bathroom floor when we used it.

The hotel is in a great location. It is just off Las Ramblas (but not right on it, so you don't get the noise or foot traffic). The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Very minor - but the room was a little bit smaller than I expected, and I had an internal room so there was no natural light (the one window looked into a central tunnel in the building and another wall). I did know that I had a room without a balcony on the booking - so it wasn't a surprise and I wasn't upset, it was just a bit darker than I expected.

Manuel at the desk. He was FANTASTIC..awesome...Soooooooooooooo helpful. If some of the leading hotels of the world had him..share prices would go through the roof!. The location is magnificent Just off la Ramblas (perfect) ..metro luice green line l3 (gets you easily anywhere) and short stroll to Reale plaza, which is a meeting point for walking guided tours, not to mention my favorite plaz..history..restaurants etc in the Gothic area.

No mini-fridge and internet no good

I want to take some time to review the hotel because it's the first time that I had 50/50 experience. The location was perfect, in the heart of La Rambla, and very close to most of the attractions, so it deserves a 10. I have read a lot of bad reviews about the AC, but everything was perfect, and the rooms were very warm. On the other hand, when I booked small rooms, I didn't imagine being so small. The rooms were perfect for one person, I would say however, the room was cleaned every day, which was a great thing, and I really appreciated it. The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything. To sum up my whole review, I can say you get what you pay for. Value for money is ok

The bed was terribly uncomfortable and said that by a person who never gets bothered by these things

We stayed twice during our trip. first time we got a room courtyard side - it was quiet however the vent was somewhere close to smoker quarters, because ventilation blew in smoke smell to the bathroom. closed the door and room itself did not smell. second time we got room on a street side. noise was louder but ventilation excellent. Sofa beds weren't most comfortable however 2x2 nights was totally worth it. IT was very close to restaurants, market and 10 min walk from the Airport busses.

Frist time smoking smell made head ache, but when we found that smell came from bathroom and closed the door, solved our problem, room was more old. Second time street noise was bit distracting, but room was beautiful and nice!

The staff make this place even better. Location is perfect just in front of La Rambla and Liceu metro station.

The WiFi is not great. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel during summer if the air conditioning works as it worked during our stay which was basically no AC. The lifts can be improved for more moderns one and I would suggest blocking the view to the restaurant at the back of the hotel on the main floor. The place looks messy!

The location was great. The receptionist during our check in was great, always happy and remembered our names from the very first moment. I can’t say the same for the rest of the staff.

Room was fine, not all lights worked. Very dark at times. Floor wasn’t vacuumed when we arrived neither during our stay.
