Very centrally located. Close to metro stations and bus stops. In the middle of La Rambla, so there's a ton of restaurants, bakeries, bars, etc nearby, also a supermarket. Friendly and helpful staff always asking if they can help you. The hotel sent a message after my first night to make sure that everything was going well. Top rate customer service. Air conditioning works perfectly, a real life saver in the heat. Good security, so safe for solo travelers. In room safe is nice.

The only real concern was finding a dead bug on the bed. I checked the internet to make sure it wasn't a bedbug, which it was not, so that was a relief. Like everywhere in central Barcelona, the room seemed a bit small for the price. A small fridge in the room would make a big difference. Overall, a good place to stay.

Perfect location, easy access to sites, market and metro. There are major works now in Rambla which was a little of a problem but obviously it has nothing to do with the hotel. Reception manned 24/7 with a friendly people who speak English Single room a little small but adequate for what I needed. Bathroom good and clean. Romm cleaned every day. Since the room did not face the Rambla it was isolated from the noise and was very quiet. For the coffee addicts - excellent coffee from the machine at a mere 1 EUR a shot. Warter soft drinks in the reception area. Would be nice to have some simple snacks like chocolate or muesli bars, chips etc. Having said that there are shops very close to the Hotel where one can buy something.

Not reflection on the hotel, but Barcelona is overwhelmed with tourist. One cannot escape from the crowds; food became bad and expensive. Ask the stuff for tips where to eat better and more affordable

The property’s location is just adjacent to the Boqueria Market, a few steps of Liceu Metro Station and bus station. The lift, lobby, hallways and room is clean, does not have a smell.

If you are sensitive to noise, you can really hear the metro and the vibration as it was just outside the property, but i did not mind as i sleep late and after 12am, you would not hear anything.

Super friendly and helpful amazing staff! Perfect location to enjoy the heart of the city and its surroundings as the Liceu Metro entrance is literally right in front of the hotel. Wether you come from the airport or the Sants train station like I did, you’ll get to the hotel very easily. If you plan to enjoy the night life of Barcelona this is the perfect spot, if you’re sensitive to noise and plan to sleep early, then you better find a hotel away from La Rambla and any Metro entrance in Barcelona. (Or buy some earplugs, relax and enjoy)

Great location, on La Rambla, right in front of Boqueria market. Very clean and modern rooms, the hotel cleans the rooms and offer new sheets and beddings everyday. Reception open 24/7 so you can check in/out at any time and they can store your baggage for free if needed. We could make the checkin earlier in the morning because the room was ready which was great because we arrived at 7 in the morning and were very tired. They also provided iron machine. One minus - there is no view (our window opened towards the interior of the building)

Located across the Boqueria, it's easy to miss the entrance right beside the bright tabac store. Staff at the reception are so friendly and helpful for requests for pillows, towels, etc. There's free coffee at the reception, too. Room is spacious and so is the shower. Window that opens to the stairwell is ample and not claustrophobic at all.

Location is Perfect, you have supermarkets, pharmacy, metro station, lots of food right next to the hostel, which means a lot. Most of the Barcelona attractions are 30 minutes away by walking and beach is also near. The stuff is very kind and helpfull.

They didnt changed towels every day (I was in the room twice when stuff was cleaning and lady took towels I have already been using, folded them and made them look tidy, as if she changed them. Thats unnecesary if towels arent going to be changed. I asked if I could get one new towel, because I needed it, and she kindly went outside of the room to get it. They dont vacuum clean every day (she asked me if she should vacuum clean when I was in the room, I said yes, the other days I could clearly see it wasnt done (i have long hair). They could vacuum the floor every day and change towels at least every other day, since people are there for vacations and use bathroom stuff more than usual.

The hotel is ideally located for tourists — everything you need is nearby, making your stay very convenient. The beds are really comfortable, and the bathroom is well-equipped, adding to the overall coziness. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is especially important in hot weather. The friendly and helpful staff deserve special mention, and the option to store luggage after checkout is a great convenience for travelers. The electronic locks enhance security, and there is a pleasant smell in the room, creating a sense of freshness.

The soundproofing is not great, and if your neighbors are noisy, it can be disruptive. Additionally, street noise can be bothersome, especially if your windows face a neighboring building without much of a view.

Location is excellent, just opposite of Boqueria market on La Rambla. Looked safe, with 24 hours reception. No breakfast but there are plenty of places around to eat. I had the single room, that is quite small, the double rooms opening onto the street are much nicer. My room was quiet, although the walls are thin so all depend s on your neighbour. Air con and fridge were working well.

The air freshener that puffed out regularly in the bathroom. Not everyone loves those smells….

the location at the upper end of La Rambla, directly opposite of Mercat de La Boqueria is just awesome ! the metro station and the Plaça de Catalunya is also very close, enabling to easily reach the airport, and explore the city by public transportation; Though the entrance of the Hostel is rather unimpressive and not to be spotted at first sight, the room itself offered all comfort and ambience required for a pleasant stay for discovering Barcelona; The bed was queen size and comfortable, the small balcony was facing La Rambla, the room itself and the bathroom was newly renovated and clean;

absolutely nothing to complain about nor to comment on - Hostel Boqueria is worth a re-booking !!!
