The only reason I didn't give this hotel a 10 is because it was a little tricky to find, otherwise it greatly exceeded my expectations. Right in the middle of Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quatre, it was walkable to shops, markets, the Barcelona Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. Would absolutely stay here again! Staff were friendly and helpful with directions, transportation and recommendations.

Our taxi driver didn't take us directly to the hotel, so we had a little trouble finding it.

I enjoyed my stay here very much! First it has an amazing location, in the center of the gothic quarter, close to a metro station, it's located above a small shopping center, and was very easy to find. The hotel staff was pleasant, and it felt clean and smelled fresh. The room itself felt clean and fresh, and was nicely designed, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was large, and water pressure was great. And a small detail, the towels were large and it was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

While there was no noise form the street, there's some noise from inside the hotel, but it didn't bother us.

The location is amazing!

I paid for a suite but the room they gave us was NOT a suite. They tried to claim the desk was the sitting area (as guaranteed for every suite in their website). They did eventually move us to a true suite but the experience and employee’s attitude soured the stay. The sink and bath tub area of the bathroom was great, however the shower and toilet configuration was odd. They were crammed into a small section do the bathroom with the toilet less than two feet directly across from the shower. You couldn’t open the shower door out very far. The room showed wear and tear but overall a good value for money.

the location in the Gothic Quarter is fantastic. It’s right in the midst of all of the shops and restaurants, yet high enough that your away from the noise. the staff is excellent and helpful. They arranged dinner and a cab for us. very kind and attentive. The room was very, very clean and super comfortable. it was small, but had every amenity and comfort. Honestly, they did a great job. It’s just lovely.

We had a difficult time finding the location initially. Once we figured out the location it was not a problem. The walls are thin and if other guests are loud in the halls, they can be heard easily.

Great location, very friendly staff. Spacious and airy lounge. The design is updated of both the rooms as well as the communal areas. The bathroom was well lit. The hotel is ideal for couples exploring Barcelona. The room was clean. The staff offered to book a taxi for us proactively although we didn't need that.

The only surprise was that we got the accessible room which meant there were other facilities in the room that for us felt a bit clunchy, but at least they also offer accessible rooms in case you need one. One more thing, they need to arrange breakfast for you ahead in case you would like to have it in the lounge, but honestly you should just explore the many great cafes and brunch places around. For us this wasn't a problem at all.

Location is extremely central - Ramblas x Barri Gothic. It’s very thick with tourists during peak hours but the hotel room itself is quiet and windows don’t open Over a noisy street, at least the deluxe room I stayed in. Within easy jogging/walking distance - barceloneta beach, El Poble Nou, most of the Gaudi houses, and the funicular up MontJuic. Found some absolutely amazing places to eat nearby everyday. It’s very possible to avoid the tourist trap bars if you do just a little bit of research and willing to walk the quieter backalleys or to Santa Clarina market. Room and bathroom are simple elegant, well designed. Looks exactly like photos. What I was happily surprised by was there was always someone at front desk 24 hours a day, pretty unusual for a small hotel with so few rooms.

Taxis & Ubers will not drive into this narrow cobblestone part of the city. But if you arrange for a car from the hotel, they’ll bring you and your luggage directly to the door. for a slight premium.

Hotel and staff were excellent!

Don't bother with "free" airport transfer included as part of the package offered at Booking.com. Ours never showed up. This was not at all the fault of the hotel, they were not involved. In fact the hotel was extremely helpful in helping us figure out how to get into town. It turns our the Aeroport bus is easy, inexpensive, frequent, and runs 24 hours a day to three stops in the city. No need for an airport taxi.

The hotel is fantastically situated in the heart of the Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, just on top of the Malda Gallerie which is an amazing passage with wonderful little peculiar stores you can spend hours in. The hotel room was comfortable and we were upgraded upon our arrival, and were also accommodated when we needed to extend our stay. Yana the receptionist was especially friendly and super helpful.

The room wasn't very clean. Upon our arrival we found quite a few hairs in the room, a few stains on the sheets and also on the towels - though they didn't look like FRESH stains, just older stains that went through laundry. That said, it wasn't very dirty either, just not very clean like we'd like it to be.

The location was great – just 5 minutes from the metro and 2 minutes from the cathedral. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

The only downside was that you could hear other guests opening and closing their doors – it sometimes sounded like it was our own door.

Great location, very clean and tidy room, really liked the toiletries. The person who checked us in noticed it was my birthday on my Passport and surprised us with a bottle of Cava once we had settled in. Location was perfect for us, close to cool shops and restaurants and easy to get to and from the airport on the Bus which drops you at Placa Catalunya, 8 minute walk from the hotel.
