The hotel was a very positive experience. One of the highlights was its quiet location, despite being so central. It was great to be right in the middle of everything while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hotel was also outstanding—everything was always well-maintained and spotless. Another advantage was that the staff spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. I was especially impressed by the service: the team was always helpful and accommodating. Even when I had issues due to flight delays, the staff took care of me and ensured my stay was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend this hotel!

One downside was that there was no food or drinks available on-site, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the room was quite warm in the evenings, even though I tried to ventilate it, which wasn’t ideal.

I just wanted to say that we came ready for really bad experience, in the end its very cozy small hotel, with clean rooms, pleasant staff and very good location. About the noise, we came ready because of the reviews, we took ear plugs, in the end we used them 2/4 nights, but its okay, because in the end its 2 star hotel in the middle of barcelona, with very good prices, and we would recommend it to all!

Location was perfect, in all the action. There’s always someone at the front desk, and they’re all really nice. We came home to a made bed every day, and it was easy to get inside.

The bathrooms upstairs are small, and although there’s an elevator, there are a lot of stairs (if you have luggage the elevator is up one flight of stairs and once you get off, you have to go down a flight to get to the right floor). But it’s not bad, very doable.

No food here but the proximity to all the places in the Gotic is unbeatable. Just a 2 block walk to the Rambla. Close to Cathedral of Barcelona. More taverns and tapas places than you would even imagine could stay in business. Local spots to Michelon Star restaurants. Close to the Metro at the Rambla or Plaza de Caralunya. Shower was always available when I was there and both my stays either right outside my door or three steps. The price was right. I had a balcony which allowed me to check on how buzy things were in the streets. Employees were all very nice. I would definitely stay here again as a solo traveler as I spent very little time except for bed and brief siesta each day. So I love the price, location and cleanliness and of course the A/C. Its very safe and quiet place as well. Just around the corner the best little morning coffee and pastry. Perfecto.

Im old. Would have preferred less steps but not a huge issue as its up one small flight to elevator and then down one small flight to Hotel. If I had big bags could have used help which they were glad to offer. Not a biggy- just something to add its not perfect.

the room was clean and comfy with a fan keeping the room cool , the location was brilliant right in the centre, the shared bathrooms i had access to were kept very clean throughout the day, communication with staff was great, staff were nice and friendly. i didn’t find it noisy at all

accessibility isn’t the best. to the building itself there’s a lift but my floor didn’t have lift access. that was my own fault for not checking! the room door wouldn’t open/close without moving the bed out of the way. one of the windows in my room wouldn’t close properly, it kept opening; allowing a view into my room many times

Everything about the property is great for the price paid. The location is amazing as you are straight off les rambles and near the gothic quarter. We didn't have a problem with the shared facilities- they were always available when we needed to use them and always stocked up with toiletries. We had room number 9 and it was very spacious. The hotel also allows you to leave your belongings on the day of departure and collect them just before you leave which was ideal for us. Just to note, the hotel can be hard to find- in the day time there is a jewellery shop downstairs and the front door is open- you just need to walk up the stairs.

The only downside is that the walls/ doors are very thin- we heard someone down the corridor coming home at 4am which woke us up (but that only happened once). In our option, there was no other downsides to the hotel.

Very good location, we could do almost everything by foot! Even though we chose a shared bathroom option, there are a lot of bathrooms and showers, we were never waiting to use them. Everything was super clean all the time. The pillows/bedsheets were good. We could leave our lugagge in the storage because we arrived early for checkin, and we could also leave them there at checkout cause we had a late flight. We were not disturbed by any noise from the streets or other guests.

I could say that everything was good, but now I remember the air conditioner leaked some water during the night and one backback was near and got wet. But really minor thing

The location was really good, the room was bigger than I expected, and the staff at reception when I checked in were really kind and even helped carry my luggage up to my room. My room was right next to the bathroom which I appreciated.

Due to the location being so good it was often quite loud with people walking through the streets etc as my room was at the front of the building, the bed could’ve been comfier but for what I needed it was perfect

Location is great 👍🏽. The rooms are nice and clean. The property is tidy overall even in common areas , Especially after using the shared bathrooms(more than 2 available at a time), there is constant checks throughout to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the bathroom and toilet areas. Would definitely recommend. However if driving there is no parking as its city center so best to take the metro to get there or find neighbouring parking.

I noticed that the toilet paper holder is positioned quite close to the toilet, which could potentially lead to hygiene concerns. I believe it would be more hygienic to have the toilet rolls placed further away from the toilet seat, especially in a shared restroom. It's important to consider the best possible arrangement to maintain hygiene for all users.
