Awrsome, safe location. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Great pool area & breakfast. Highly recommend We uograded to a Balcony Room which was well worth it.

Norhing, really., exceot it looks like Level 3 rooms have had a bathroom upgrade, whereas level 2 seems to still have the shower in bath, which could be an issue for some.

The hotel is in a great location between Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter. Our room was looking out over the busy street. As it is on a busy pedestrianised street, there is a lot of hustle and bustle during the day but that didn’t bother us as we weren’t in our rooms during the day. During the evening, you hear the odd noise from people working late into the night, so we were woken a few times but that didn’t bother us as we were so exhausted we just went straight back to sleep - just bear that in mind if you are a light sleeper. The staff were friendly and very happy to help with questions about Barcelona. Our room was comfortable and cleaned everyday. The complimentary bottle of water came in handy at the end of a busy day exploring. Cannot comment on the food as we ate out.

Superb location, just a 2-min walk from Placa de Catalunya (the main square) and within walking distance to some key tourist spots like La Rambla. A 15-min ride to other sights like Sagrada Familia. The rooms are of good quality with fresh furniture. They have no parking but provide some discount for a nearby public parking (that said, I wouldn’t recommend driving in Barcelona).

The staff made a mistake and assigned a wrong room, though they quickly corrected. However, be careful, their standard rooms have a view facing the wall, which is almost like having no window. Higher category rooms have proper views from the window, facing the yard or street.

Everything from entering the hotel to when we left was exceptional. Checking in late at night was seamless. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to loads of cafes, restaurants, shopping, metro and hop on/ hop off buses. The pool was on the cold side but just what we needed after a day of walking in the heat. The room was a perfect size for the three of us. The hotel had a lot of character but was modern. Next time I'm in Barcelona I will be booking again! Thank you to the whole team for being helpful and friendly.

Expensive breakfast but we didn't have it so can't comment on the quality. This didn't hinder us as there are lots of cafes within a 5 min walk.

Did not have breakfast at hotel. The atmosphere of is relaxing and facilities are charming and have a nice historical perspective. The room was nice size and very clean and homely, comfortable. Next to bed had a clothes apparatus to hang clothes, very convenient. Strong box easy to use. Location is great, except could be closer to Metro, but it is ok.

Like I said up above could be closer to Metro, but ok. A lot of everything else makes up for this. It is closer to many other nice facilities, like the Cathedral, which is great, and also centrally located to many other tourist attractions and shops.

Excellent location being very close to Placa Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter on a pedestrian mall. We like walking and as such it was possible to walk to all major tourist sites. We were upgraded to terrace suite. Very nice to have room serviced each stay and tea coffee supplies etc replenished.

Hotel is in older traditional style building with lots of character but starting to need maintenance on tiles on stairs and terrace wooden doorsteps and frames etc. However, this did not detract from our stay.

The location was wonderful and the hotel was an oasis of calm amid a huge number of tourists in Barcelona. Bar staff, especially Beatriz, was great as was the breakfast. I don't usually Eat and drink at the hotel but it was great to get away from the heat and crowds. Front desk was helpful. Everyone's English was great.

The only thing I can knock is small. There was an electrical outlet on one side of the bed but not the other (but we were on the "to be renovated" floor and not one of the recently renovated floors. Also we requested twin beds but got a king size bed. That worked fine for us.

The Hotel was immaculate, extremely clean. The beds are really comfy and sheets/towels are changed every day. Staff were lovely and very helpful and we were given a map and a brochure of activities to do on arrival. Location was perfect for us as it was right round the corner from the barcelona cathedral and shops were all around. It’s not too much of a walking distance to all tourist sites and restaurants and fairly close to the beach. But, taxis and bikes were also very accessible if you needed.

The only thing i would say wasn’t perfect was the pool, it’s fairly small and shallow and quite limited lounging area, but wasn’t an issue for us as we weren’t at the hotel in the daytime. However the pool was very relaxed and quiet with plenty of loungers left in the evening, which was the only time we used it.

Lovely property, at the edge of the gothic district . Nicely appointed rooms, exceptional staff. They were gracious, helpful and willing to wait while I practiced my Spanish to communicate :)

I stayed at two different times in the course of two weeks. The first stay ended well but I was initially given a room that had a slight sewer smell in the bathroom. I was too tired to switch the first night but requested a different room after that. While the staff was apologetic and agreed with me, I was disappointed to learn they had still rented it to another person, after I left it ; they had told me it wouldn’t be used until the plumbing had been addressed in the coming days.

Room was great, and clean. Had a nice terrace, the beds were very comfortable, and tea and coffee facilities were good, (although a bit more milk would be great). Location was absolutely perfect - easy to walk to the Gothic Quarter, Le Born, and basically everywhere! So close to the Cathedral, nice shops, Las Ramblas, Playa Catalunya, and an amazing choice of fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars. Employees were excellent - special note of thanks to Natalia on front desk, and Chido (sincere apologies if spelling is wrong but I've lost my note!) Loved the architectural style of this hotel too!

Nothing! We liked everything about it and would happily return, but would make more time to use the facilities, as the restaurant, bar and pool areas all looked relaxing!
