Hotel Barcelona An older but adequate hotel on Las Rambla in the heart of Barcelona. We enjoyed our stay. 1. Just a 3 minute walk down Las Rambla from the airport bus stop on La Plaça de Catalunya. The street entrance from busy Las Rambla is not very attractive but I think that may be intentional to reduce random pedestrians visits. 2. An elevator lifts you to the small lobby and public space which includes the breakfast bar and dining area overlooking Las Rambla. The breakfast bar has many choices and includes some lunch choices as well. They provided gluten free rolls and bread for me. The frozen yogurt machine was a nice surprise. 3. We are experienced travelers- not fussy people. The rooms, baths, and hallways are older but well maintained. We found the room comfortable and quiet. 4. The staff was very nice and helpful.

This would be my 'go-to' Hotel if I visit Barcelona again. A perfect location right on the Rambla and a very easy walk to the Gothic Quarter, Plaza Catalunya, bars, restaurants, hop-on hop-off bus and even a Primark next door!! Great for a short stay. This is a friendly hotel and we had a lovely room overlooking the Rambla with small balcony and big bed - very clean. Worth the extra money. We also liked the breakfast terrace and the character of the place. The air conditioning was welcome too. The running snack buffet and free drinks were a bonus which makes this Hotel good value for money in an excellent location. Couldn't fault it.

The bedroom was small, but sunny and very clean. I loved the breakfast and the buffet. The staff was great!

I didn’t like the hall, the carpet is old and smelly and has to be replaced. Everything else was wonderful.

Breakfast was very good although variety was limited. The access to the buffet was a fantastic bonus. The location was excellent. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and room was decorated tastefully.

Very good localisation!! Very nice and qualified stuff. Nice room. Everywhere is so close, in the midle of centre.

very barren food, everyday the same greasy sausage, very little vegetables, several types of bread, a hard-boiled egg, a piece of tomato and several types of jams and... that is unfortunately all..

The room was right on the front with a beautiful little balcony that over looked The Rambles main street. It was busy but the room was well insulated so we sleep well in comfortable beds. The breakfast was a buffet style that was available all day and night just pick what you wanted it was great.

There was nothing that we didnt like it was great. That's why we stay at this hotel this will have been out 4th visit and plan to go back to this hotel again. We love it. The staff are fantastic friendly helpful local knowledge places to eat they cant do enough for you..

Location of the hotel is rigt at the city center. You can walk or use the metro (across the street). The staff is very helpful, nice and professional. I was offered a bottle of champagne when the hotel knew it was my wedding anniversary (at the reservation). Buffer is 24/7. You can have a little snack at 21h00 after a flamenco show or you can drink a hot coffee or a nice and cold lemonade after a long walking day. What else can I write beside a BRAVO. A "must" when travelling to Barcelona.

Excellent location right in the heart of Barcelona. However exceptionally quiet. Quirky building, lift to reception. Staff were amazing, showed us how to navigate the floorplan. 24 hr free food, drinks, coffee including beer and wine. We only stay overnight but would stay again for longer. Rooms are on the smaller side but super comfortable, bathroom clean and very functional, super comfy bed, air conditioner and ceiling fan. Lovely old building to capture the essences of Barcelona. Highly recommend for location and the experience.

Location on La Ramblas is EXCELLENT. Walk to everything. Hop on/Hop off bus is right up the street. Tons of restaurants. We had an excellent balcony on La Ramblas. It's just big enough for a table and two chairs but sufficient. Was disappointed La Ramblas is having major construction so did not see the usual outdoor dining and mimes. The market down the street is still excellent. Tons of people in town - guess bc of Spring Break.

Price was a little high, but they do offer small food items and beer and wine 24/7. Other than that, very nice.

Our room was great except a little stuffy since fan didn't work. Large, quiet, and comfortable. The location was on La Ramblas which was great except for construction. Having food and drink available included was really good. Very European feel. Quaint and a little quirky. Nice outside patio. People working there were very nice and helpful. Helped with luggage and had good storage area to keep it in before and after check in and out. Reasonable price for area.

We chose the hotel because it had an elevator. The elevator took us to the first floor where the entrance of the hotel was. But our room was on the second floor and we had to go up stairs to reach that.
