Fantastic position on La Rambla, right in the heart of Barcelona city. close to Gothic Quarter & Metro station. Staff very friendly, helpful & honest. They were able to give lots of worthwhile advice on things to see & do while visiting. Also convenient to be able to have breakfast at the hotel. I accidently left money behind in the room safe & was emailed immediately to let me know. The staff went to a lot of trouble to return the money as I had moved on from Barcelona. A big thank you to the staff involved in returning my money.

The location was excellent, steps away from bus stops and metro stations, and is conveniently located next to many businesses such as restaurants, cafés, corner shops, etc. Very easy to find and is placed in a busy area of the city and not too far from famous attractions, either by walking or taking metro/bus. The unlimited breakfast was also quite good, lots of options to choose from for food and drinks, for only 10€/person. Also, the staff was very friendly and greeted us well, Jack in particular!

The rooms were quite simple, not much amenities such as refrigerators or microwaves. But this place is perfect if just wanting somewhere to sleep in a busy area of the city with quick access to public transportation.

I loved the hotel's location—it made exploring tourist spots on foot incredibly convenient. Returning for a midday nap or a quick refresh was effortless. I also appreciated that they accommodated my request for a room with a window, as I’m claustrophobic, which made my stay much more comfortable. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was seamless and hassle-free, adding to the overall positive experience.

The location is great, but keep in mind that it can get noisy outside, especially if your room faces the street. Personally, I didn’t mind—I actually found the sound of people milling about comforting compared to a completely silent environment. Just something to consider depending on your preference. The location is amazing, close to everything. Staff is kind and respectful. Breakfast is really good, with several options from breads and croissants to fruits, yogurts, cereals, jamón, Spanish omelet, etc. The bed and pillows are comfortable. Extra point for the nice balcony.

The walls are too thin, I could hear everything from the rooms next to mine, people talking until 2am.

We loved the location at the top end of the very busy Ramblas Street, further down would have been too hectic, especially as there were some road works. The beds were comfortable, the shower was really good and I loved the small balcony - one reason I chose the room and it was great value for money. Reception is staffed 24/7 and all were friendly. Breakfast is 12 euros each per day and there is a good selection including vegetarian Spanish omelette, pastries and fruit. The hotel called Fernando from the local taxi service to take us back to the airport and he was very friendly and chatty. A wonderful service all round. Would definitely stay here again.

We liked everything! The only thing would be, is that I missed having a kettle in the room. An alarm went off in the middle of the night on the last night. I shot up out of bed thinking it was a fire alarm, but it didn't last long and we were not alerted to anything. I struggled to get back to sleep after that.

You can’t beat the location if you want to be on Los Rambla Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice I always enjoy being able to get an extra latte and there was plenty of protein and fruit available Dining room has a nice view The staff at reception are very helpful and welcoming

We had a triple room for three days before our cruise and it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing. It consisted of three twin beds It looked a bit like a dorm room with a window onto the ventilation shaft and though small, did have everything you need. We had a much better triple room on our return trip after the cruise, with a balcony and a bit of a view

This hotel is at the center of every place you would want to be in Barcelona. It is located near a major transportation hub of the subway or bus lines. The hotel is comfortable and my room had a balcony which I used often to eat my take out dinners (because I loved sitting there so much) and to people watch. But no worries if your room doesn't have a balcony. On the lobby floor, which is above street level, there are balconies which I liked even better than my own since it was closer to the street and the action. This is a historic hotel from 1926 but fully updated. If I return to Barcelona, I will definitely book this hotel.

I wish the pillow was fluffier. And I wish there was a way to unpack my suitcase. I had a single room so space was limited and my suitcase sat in the middle of the floor. It was too big to put on the foldable rack. I would put some shelves right under the hangers.

We loved everything about this hotel! Honestly, we have stayed in 4 stars hotels that didn't even try to reach the comfort and daily cleanliness of this one. This should not be rated as 2 stars, it's well above in any aspect, including pricing!! Yes, maybe the rooms are a bit small and there's no parking down stairs, but for a family accomodation it's absolutely perfect. And do not forget the location! Ground zero! We never used public transportation to go anywhere, the beach or the aquarium (about 15 - 20 mins walk), La Sagrada Familia (about 35 mins walk, with a 5 year old with us) or the Barcelona Cathedral and Gothic quarter at 10 mins away. . La Rambla is down stairs, and the mall at less than 5 minutes away. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! For sure we will come back here!

There's nothing we did not like! Absolutely amazing!

The location was perfect for 1st time visitors to Barcelona. Old town and many attraction within walking distance, vicinity to Plaza Catalunya which is starting point for aerobus, touristic hop on-hop off, metros etc. It helped us to get the most of our stay, since we minimized time in city traffic - we were immediately in the center. Warm recommendation for less experienced travellers! Being situated on La Rambla, you can expect noise from the street - but with closed window it is ok, we managed to get a good night sleep. The staff was very kind and friendly. On the checkout day, you can leave the luggage for free. Breakfast was decent. I would come back again!

The room was quite small, and especially bathroom was super tight. We didn't have a problem with it, but any taller or bigger person might find it challenging to get around. Also, credit card was charged immediately upon reservation, although in reservation process was stated the payment would be done during hotel check in.
