So much choice for breakfast, included in our B&B rate but do have option to pay on the day if you choose not to include breakfast. Staff clearing up plates quickly and friendly. Our room had a terrace and small pool and we had champagne and fruit on arrival as it was our anniversary.

Sometimes in the afternoon, the terrace could not be used as it was in direct sun with no shade and was simply too hot but was lovely to be able to access our own pool so take flip flops to walk on the floor!

Bedroom was so clean, fresh sheets and towels every day. Staff were so helpful and all spoke English. Breakfast had a huge choice so would keep everyone happy. Location is right at the top of Las Rambles so second to none!

The pool tended to get full up with larger families/groups so not always tables/chairs to sit on but it's city centre hotel so to have a pool was a bonus in the first instance.

The location was excellent. Right in the heart of the city. Helpful and pleasant staff. The room was extremely good and super clean. Large comfortable bed. The spa was also very good. Everything about hotel was high quality. We can highly recommend to everyone. Would definitely stay here again.

This property is 2 minutes from the Placa de Catalunya, so very easily accessible from the trains and the airport bus, which makes a difference. Barcelona is not an easy place to be hauling around cases. The property has a nice elegant feel, friendly staff, and a good breakfast. It is an old building so the rooms are a little strangely laid out, but we didn't mind. We got upgraded to a room with a balcony, which was really lovely and I'd recommend to anyone. Prices reasonable for quality.

The hotel was able to allow us to check in early after an overnight flight, which was a huge bonus when we arrived. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I liked the area - such a great stop with access to everything you need and very walkable. I also spent a lovely afternoon with an including visit to the spa - I had private access to the hot tub and sauna and an area to just sit in a lounge chair and read. Our weather had been terrible - so this was a nice way to warm up and relax. Also - the SHOWER at this facility was AMAZING.

Beautiful hotel In excellent location for exploring Barcelona. We were upgraded on arrival to an executive suite with balcony looking into the roof top terrace/pool. The room itself was decorated beautifully and very clean, with the most incredible shower I have ever been in! Didn’t expect a shower to be one of the highlights of my trip! So powerful and spacious and hot, just what you need to feel refreshed after walking around everywhere! The bed was ok, not the most comfortable I’ve had but average, then there was a small desk/chair, nice coffee machine, mini fridge, hair dryer and usb sockets as well as the normal European plugs. we stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed made, there was always someone cleaning something/somewhere around the hotel, I would say it was spotless. The rest of the hotel was beautiful, very chic! We had some nice cocktails one evening before bed for €11 each at the hotel bar, i believe they also serve food but we didn’t eat at the hotel at all so can’t comment on food/breakfast. Ideal location for the metro and basically being a 2 min walk from La Rambla! We got a 48 hour metro ticket (which included airport metro fee so we’re able to use this to get back to the airport when leaving), can’t get over how frequent/reliable the transport in Barcelona is! If you want to explore everything then defiantly get a metro card, you can buy online or get one from the ticket machines on the station. This hotel was such a great base with very friendly and professional staff, and a nice atmosphere and a touch of style that made it feel quite luxurious!

If I was being picky I think the room we were in was next to some water pipes possibly as we could hear flushing/running water, I’m assuming when toilets were flushed or showers running etc as it wasn’t constant. It wasn’t super loud but if you are a light sleeper then it could wake you up so maybe some ear plugs? Not sure if this issue would be present is all rooms or if it was just ours due to location.

We loved the location, so central - taxis outside. Breakfast was amazing - selection - quality, environment in breakfast room - one of the very best. Staff very helpful and friendly- spa very pleasant treat - we used every day after lots of walking. Bed comfortable - nice if unusual pillows- bar and restaurant for evening very good - service , food & value very good.

Small things took the edge off the rating - room key cards failed every day and needed to be remade - most afternoons there was a smell of drains in the room but we asked and they checked and it seemed to clear - rooms adequate if a little cramped around wardrobe access, decor a bit darker than our preference. TV really fiddly to control - not convenient. But in context these were all minor irritations and did not spoil our stay.

We had a nice stay here and would visit again as the location is excellent and the room was comfortable, clean and had everything in it we needed. Beds were comfy, the cleaning service was excellent, tea making facilities and fridge were an extra bonus, as was the free upgraded room offered at reception. Only a couple of things let it down, a lot of noise outside our room, both from the city and cleaners/guests constantly banging around, walls and windows seemed paperthin, the spa is an extra €30 for 2 people for an hour which seems cheeky after the heavy room rate, also no staff went out of their way and disappointing that when asking for an omelette for room service as I have a very limited diet and my daughter was poorly in our room so I couldn't leave I was told no as 10 minutes past the time they do breakfast items. So we didn't eat from the hotel and ordered takeaway from outside instead. No one seems to go above and beyond here, service is just standard. Lifts weren't working on the last evening.

The location was great and the staff very helpful. The room we had first night was rather noisy, and the air conditioning wasn't working well. Also we asked for a twin room, but got a double due to unavailability. One of the reception staff however, was very helpful and helped us change room for our second and third night, to a twin room which wasn't too noisy, and the air conditioning was working well too. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

The pool in the spa was much smaller than expected as per the picture on the hotel's site - although this is not unique for this hotel. Also, it wasn't obvious from the facilities description that the pool can be used for a fee which is charged for the spa.

The room was very clean and tidy. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of quality food. The hotel itself was well situated for transport links (metro and buses) which made it very easy to travel around. Also well-positioned for access to good restaurants and bars on foot.

Two complaints about the hotel was that the room was very warm. I tried to use the air-con control to reduce the temperature in the room and succeeded in increasing it still further. Better temperature control is required as I had to sleep with the window open and found it to be quite noisy from street. The price for the hotel I found was too expensive, however, this was comparable to other hotels probably due to the fact that they are catering for guests attending shows and exhibitions, therefore know they can push prices up !
