Located in center of the city and very convenient to visit famous sightseeing spots in Barcelona. The staff was friendly and capable of speaking in English.

The room was fairly clean, but its wall was a little bit thin, so if you are too sensitive to some noise when sleeping, you need to be careful. If you don't care about it that much, nothing would be the problem.

Perfect location, spacious and clean room for 4/5 persons, comfortable beds and shower, very friendly staff.

The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear other guests talking.

1. The hotel is located in the center, close to the metro, shops and attractions. 2. 24-hour reception with helpful personal. 3. We were able to leave luggage if you arrive a little earlier or leave after check-out. 4. Perfect cleanliness and comfort. 5. Soap, shampoo, shower gel. No problems with hot water. 6. Comfortable mattresses and pillows were also comfortable. 7. Air conditioner, TV. 8. The room was quiet and comfortable. 9. There was a safe in the room, but we didn't use it as we were only staying for 1 night A nice little hotel with helpful staff. Our room windows overlooked the courtyard. It was very quiet at night. The room was cozy, in good condition (apparently after renovation). The bathroom is not small, clean, with a very large mirror. The beds are comfortable. The furniture may not be the most modern, but in good condition. I was amazed by the size of the closet. You could live in it.) We were very pleased with the choice of the hotel.

When we entered the building, it was not very clear where to go. I would have liked a brighter poiner. It turned out that we need to go to the end of the lobby, turn right opposite the mailboxes, go up the stairs to the elevator and take the elevator to the 1st floor (the button in the elevator is signed).

Don't be put off by the 1 star this is an excellent basic hotel and you won't be in the room much with all Barcelona has to offer. Clean, very comfy beds, bathroom is small but functioning and a has a great shower over a half bathtub, we stayed in a room with 4 single beds which worked great for our family with teenage boys, fantastic location slap bang between Plaza Catalunya and Universitat metro stops, and close to Las Ramblas. Airport bus stops at Plaza Catalunya so just 5 min walk. 24hour reception and helpful staff. would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. We arrived earlier than our 3pm check in time but the room was ready, so we were allowed to check in which was awesome, note that the city tax has to be paid in cash so have some Euros on you (0.50 per person per night I think)

If I had to be picky you can hear the doorbell ring and people in reception so might not be best for light sleepers, the lift is rather small and you do need to walk up the 1st set of stairs to reach the lift (here is disabled lift up this 1st set of stairs). none of this was an issue for us and we were very happy with our stay.

The property is very centrally located. Perfect location. Very clean and also with AC so thats nice too. Staff is good. We didnt experience any problems . Accessibility to public transport metro , bus etc is very good. Supermarkets are very close by.

Rooms are a bit small but for sure value for the money. Beds and blankets could have been more better. Blankets were a bit old.

Check in should be at 3 PM but we came at 12.30 PM. The staff was really kind & nice & allowed us to check in early. The location is good. Room is quite big with 4 single bedroom & really clean.

We still have to climb the stairs before going to get on the lift. It's quite challenging especially if you have a heavy/big suitcase to carry on.

Very clean, small but comfortable. Great location! Short walk to La Ramblas and many places to eat and drink. The staff were super nice and helpful.

Better street and interior signage… its a bit tricky to find

The place is quite and clean and staff were so helpful and polite. The place is near of all landmarks like placa d Catalunya and rambl street and 200 metres of universitat station 🚉 and near to sagrada familia by metro and 13 minutes walking to cathedral of Barcelona.. when I come back to Barcelona I will come here again of course.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Pelayo in Barcelona. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family. The staff were exceptionally kind—especially the receptionist who patiently helped fix our phone’s Wi-Fi issue. We felt genuinely welcome, and our children had a fantastic time. Highly recommended for families with young kids!

Perfect localization, possibility of early check in for extra charge + luggage storage for extra charge (as my special request). Everyday cleaning!

Lack of iron/ironing room. How much is city tax - in the message on Booking.com was confirmed different amount - at the reception I was informed it is higher from May. Lack of fridge in the room.
