The location was EXCELLENT!!! We walked mostly to every important location for they were all within reasonable distance from our Hotel Barcelona Catedral!!! The Breakfast was EXELLENT!!! The food was amazing, the orange juice was to die for along with their delicious pastries!!! The Room was PERFECT!!! Our room was cozy and just right for the two of us plus the bathroom was beautifully renovated!!! A huge shout out to Lauren for going back into the room we had checked out from to find the jewelry box I had left by accident under the cushion of the sofa chair!!! He did me such a huge favor for I was already on the ship that was sailing away from Barcelona! He actually sent my jewelry box to my home in Miami, Florida!!! That was the icing on the cake!!! We will definitely stay in Hotel Barcelona Catedral as often as we can visit Barcelona Spain!!! The staff in every aspect were polite and very respectful!!! They helped us with our google maps by teaching us some tricks to ordering our cab when having to leave to the Port on our last day in Barcelona. ALL WAS PERFECT!!!

This property was excellent. The location is fabulous, very walkable to restaurants, shops etc. They had a very nice little restaurant for their guests that served breakfast. Lunch and dinner. The staff was fabulous and very helpful! The rooms are on the small size, but very clean and up to date. We also had a king size bed which is difficult to find in Europe. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The only draw back to this hotel was it was on a side street and the taxi service didn’t seem to want to pick you up from the hotel. They didn’t want to be bothered having to maneuver around the squares. Even when you obtained a taxi, they would drop us off a block or so away. Take Uber, do t bother with local taxis. The 15 minute happy hour was nice, I wish it would have been 30 minutes. 15 min barely gives you time to get a drink. It was very enjoyable, but too short.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Lovely area for entertainment. Small shops and restaurants. Comfortable and large rooms. Clean, tidy and quiet

This excellent hotel ticks all the boxes. Not only is it supremely well situated on the edge of the Gothic Quarter a few metres from Barcelona cathedral . It has an amazing choice of restaurants and things to do on its doorstep. The buskers and the people watching in Cathedral square are a travellers delight. Great coffee on hand too which is not always the case in Barca The hotel arranged daily Cheese and wine tasting and evening guided walks through the Gothic Quarter are an unexpected highlight and the staff are always willing to help to ensure your stay is perfect. Rooms are beautifully appointed and the beds and pillows as dreamily comfortable as best of anywhere I have stayed I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in Barcelona but this was such a brilliant find. I will definitely be back in February when i return to Barcelona from Sydney.

Amazing hotel, in the heart of Barcelona and the gothic quarter. So many great places to visit and to eat and to shop, are in walking distance. Still very quiet and cozy feeling. Good rooms, pool/gym on roof (in the season), happy hour at the hotel, great staff. And the price/value for money was phenomenal.

Nothing. All was perfect. Truthfully...

Location was perfect, bang in the middle of what matters in the city and a few minutes walk away from the main metro stations and bus stops connecting to anything around. Same with beautiful neighbourhood of El Born (but also Gracia), just a few steps away. The staff was always helpful, kind and professional, from the reception through the room service to the breakfast staff. The latter was served in a lovely area with the chance of also sitting outside in the lush indoor courtyard and served a well arranged mix of sweet and savoury items, starting with a sampling tray. The room was spacious, especially the bed (the biggest I ever experienced in a four stars hotel) which was also very comfortable.

The bathroom didn't have any toilet brush, bidet or bidet hose, which was quite surprising. The rooftop pool area, albeit very handy and extremely rare in the centre of the city, is a bit cramped and tends to be a relief for the pigeons in the area which bathed in greater numbers than the hotel tenants. It's good for a couple of hours of relax though. The adjacent gym is equipped with the basic machines and would serve as a good warmup for the long walks around the city.

Everything! The best thing about the hotel is its location. It was walking distance from most places, great restaurants and bars and great shopping. The rooms were a good size. They were really clean and were cleaned every day. The shower was amazing. The staff was helpful and kind. We also got fresh bottles of water every day. Couldn’t ask for a better hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like was that I was unable to connect to my Netflix account in order to watch some tv in English at night.
