It's in an amazing location. My room had the perfect view of the Barcelona cathedral. The staff was helpful if you needed suggestions for dinner and places to go, and they were really kind. Free wi-fi. You can eat breakfast at their restaurant for added cost, or just choose a cafe nearby. If you are staying here, you have access to the rooftop, where you can enjoy the view, have a drink, and people-watch. Beds are extremely comfortable.

No full-body mirror in my room, which makes it hard to decide what to wear going out, but I made it work. Other than that, I had a great experience overall and would go back

Awesome location, right on the Plaza with the Cathedral. Great staff, very nice room, very quiet. Great breakfast. Parking nearby and for us was quite secure. A little pricey, but that is what is the cost for parking in a major city downtown.

If your driving, the street that Google Map brings you to is very small and looks more like a pedestrian path versus a street. When we arrived at the hotel, the perspective from the street is that you see nothing. We just stopped in the Taxi stopping place and I had to get out and walk around to see the front of the hotel, then all is well, but would be a good thing to know prior.

We stayed for 5 days the first 2 we had no air conditioning. Finally moved us to a new room on third day. Manager named Maria said we would be credited an allowance for the days we had no air conditioning. She never compensated or gave us an allowance still waiting for hotel to respond in some way. She basically ignored us when we checked out! My husband has asthma so was very uncomfortable for the first 2 days!

Love everything about it

Great location within easy access to all main tourist attractions. Many within walking distance of the hotel. We stayed on the 3rd floor (room 324) which was a very quiet and spacious room. Lovely comfortable bed which ensured a fantastic nights sleep, fabulous shower and bath, toiletries etc. in the room. Staff are very helpful especially Jamie at reception, smiling and always willing to go the extra mile. breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. Rooftop bar with great views of the cathedral is a very nice added extra too! I would highly recommend this hotel

We did try the hotel restaurant once during our stay on a Friday evening assuming it would be as fabulous as the breakfast. However, the food was very disappointing. This is not to say the food is like this every evening we might have just been unlucky on that particular night. Other than that a great stay overall and would highly recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was excellent ! Stuff extreamly friendly. The food selection was quite good.

The terrace ( Top floor ) was not open during our stay and no one informed us about this in advance. It is a pity that payment for our stay was taken from us upon check-in at the hotel, and not upon check-out.

Clean and nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent location with nice views. Recommended for all. Perfect stay and conformable hotel.

Nothing

The whole suite was very spacious, comfortable and relaxing . The bed and pillows are comfortable and changed everyday. Nothing was broken or not functioning. The balcony with a view over the Barcelona cathedral is worth the price. The staff of s beyond reproach. The terrace is gorgeous complete with chairs, lounger chairs and table. Theres also a bar up top where the young crowd hangs out which we didn’t use because we are way past that age. The young folks wait in line for access. When checking out to head to our cruise that staff had taxis called and sat folks based on the amount of luggage. This was beyond excellent. The only drawbacks are the price of the breakfast and the size and speed the elevator.

The price

Lovely hotel in a great location! So many things in easy walking distance. We opted in for the breakfast buffet and were pleased with the variety and quality of the food available. The rooftop bar is a must-see, the view is simply stunning. The front desk staff and door men went above and beyond as far as service, we were well taken care of during our stay. Kudos to whomever manages this property.

The lighting in the bathroom is inadequate. Taking a shower is a messy affair due to the design. We ordered room service and nobody came to pick up the cart. We finally pushed the cart outside our room into the hallway and it stayed there for HOURS. Elevators are small and extremely slow, we chose to use the stairs 95% of the time. There should be a desk lamp in the room, I had to work remotely from Barcelona for my first 3 days in town and really needed more lighting.

Location - great location, in the heart of the city, right opposite the Cathedral and very close to the Gothic Quarters, El Born etc. Room - big and comfortable room and bathroom (even bigger than it looked in the pictures) very nicely done and just generally felt very comfortable / spacious Terrace - we didn't use it much, but went up one evening and it had nice views of the Cathedral / rest of Barcelona

Small point but the room walls are really thin. For example, we could hear everything that was going on in the room next to us / above us and when the other room shower was running, it felt like the shower in our room was running. It didn't massively inconvenience us, but would be great if the hotel could somehow look into this
