I liked everything about this hotel. The location was perfect (pedestrian friendly-only emergency vehicles allowed); surrounded by lots of shops, and only about an 8 minute walk to La Rambla. The hotel itself was modern and very clean. The elevator was spacious, and the lounge was comfortable and located next to the bar (delicious sangria). My bedroom was spacious and extremely comfortable. What put this hotel at the top of my list however was the staff; beyond excellent! Upon arrival, my luggage was taken to my room, and upon departure I was walked to the main street (the young man even carried my luggage) where I could easily and quickly find a taxi. Thus far, I have 3 additional upcoming stays in Barcelona. Reservations have already been made for this hotel for all 3 stays.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of the Gothic area. Easy to walk to main tourist sites. Room was clean, bed super comfortable and the shower was superb.

Our room faced the square and was very noisy up until 11 or 12pm. The first night we were going to ask for a quieter room but to be honest you soon get used to it and we were so tired from all the walking we basically only used the room for shower and sleep. The pillows were extremely soft which I wasn't keen on but again not enough of an issue to ask for a replacement. If we return to this hotel I would try to get a room on a quieter floor. The breakfast was 23 euros per person which I think is over the top - much cheaper to just go to the cafe next door.

We got upgraded to a Superior room, so that was nice. Room itself was nice size, cleaning ladies kept it tidy every day. Bathroom and standup shower were very good. People in reception were very accommodating and pleasant. Location is right next to Cathedral and while busy being on last floor we had no noise issues, I.think lower floors should be fine as well as rooms are mostly in the back. We didn't use the pool or breakfast, the latter options are a plenty in close.proximity. Location is still very good to anywhere exploring Barcelona other than Parc Guell or Tibidabo where you'd need some transport. We took aerobus from and to airport and it's just 5min walk from the hotel.

All was good.

We had room 502 for 5 days , which is a suite on the 5th floor. Only 2 rooms are on this floor. It was huge! Ironing facilities provided [iron and board], a proper hairdrier, a bottle of water provided most days, clean towels every day and a fabulously comfortable and huge bed. 2 bottles of Cava were gifted during our stay. Location is fantastic. Just a few steps from Barcelona Cathedral. Special mention to the reception staff especially Miguel and Ferran, plus, Constantine and Victoria in the restaurant. I chose this hotel for my 70th birthday and due to bad weather we decided to eat there for my birthday dinner. Constantine and Victoria truly made my birthday night. Gracias to both of them. The restaurant food and service was so good that we ate there twice.

We didn't have any view from our room, other than a brick wall and an office block. Minimal coffee pods & milk provided, which we found very surprising. Netflix did not appear to be optional on large tv in the bedroom, although tv in sitting area did have Chromecast. Slight smell from drains at entrance on one day, but hotel itself smells beautiful. Construction work on pool and terrace was quite noisy but...we understand the hotel did not have control over that. There should be a warning though, prior to booking, that the terrace area is currently 'out of action" for a few weeks [until April we believe] and a slight reduction in price could be offered to compensate for noise and lack of terrace and pool.

It was in city centre next to metro perfect staff behaviour, very clean, very good suite.

Nothing everything was very good

Everything was lovely from the moment we were greeted outside by the hotel by staff who insisted they bring in the bags to the suite we had. The room with the private pool and deck (408) was heaven. Well worth the money. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices and so delicious. It’s closed to the cathedral, walking distance to most places. Even though they had festivals going 2 of the 3 nights we were there we heard nothing.

Really liked everything. The only thing I might suggest is they could have nicer sheets and better pillows. But maybe that’s just me.

We had a family room and it was big enough to accommodate us all. The bed was comfy and warm. The hotel is close to Catalonia Cathedral and several bus and metro stops. Although it was a busy part of the city the hotel was quiet and we could rest after long days walking through the city. The room was cleaned daily, and we even got small chocolates in the evening, not to mention a welcoming bottle of cava on our first night.

The windows are closed and the knob removed. Apparently this is done for security reasons. We didn't particularly like this, but it didn't affect our overall impression of the hotel, nor our stay.
