25 meter from the Cathedral in the old town (Gothic quarter). Public transport around the corner, Room was renovated, clean, smelled nice, spacious bathroom with rain shower. The hotel offers wine and cheese at 5 pm. And one night they organised a free, one hour walking tour around the Cathedral with a local guide. Breakfast (€22) was also excellent. I can really recommend this hotel.

Because of the location, sometimes noisy tourist in the street, also late night. Although this is not under the control/responsibility of the hotel, it can be annoying. I have to say that my room was on the 1st floor and at the street side. Maybe higher floors don’t have the issue.

Excellent location, right across the square from Barcelona Cathedral. Close walking access to La Rambla, restaurants, bus transportation. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and speak English. Excellent Breakfast and service in the morning, glass of wine in the afternoon. Quiet and comfortable.

Hotel Barcelona Catedral is optimally located in the city center square. Multiple restaurants and shops are within a few steps. The rooftop pool is small but ideal for the afternoon siesta (unfortunately, you cannot order food to the pool, but drinks are allowed). The breakfast was perfect with a variety of buffet and menu order options (A nice touch). The room size was larger than most European rooms. The public parking garage is located within a 3-minute walk (pre-book for excellent prices). The drop off and streets to the hotel are narrow and 1-way, so it's difficult to navigate. The AC worked well on the hot August days. The office and breakfast staff were very accommodating. The hotel was well-maintained and clean. Overall, a great stay!

The room was spacious, filled with natural light, clean, warm and inviting- felt very homey. Restaurants were aesthetically beautiful and the food was good quality. Its location is excellent, at the heart of the gothic quarter but tucked away in a quiet street, right next to the famous Kissing Wall and a great Vietnamese restaurant. I loved that the hairdryer had a diffuser attachment provided.

The rooftop pool area is a little neglected and needs a makeover.

The price for what they provide is a bit too high. Firstly, there is a rooftop pool, but the sun lounges around the pool were quite disorganized to the degree that I stepped on a bolt that’s keeping the umbrella in place trying to find a place. Also, the liquid soap in the room was consistently kept empty during our stay.

We requested an accessible room and it had an excellent shower. They also brought us a shower seat. The staff was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The location in the Gothic quarter was excellent.

The hangers had the theft proof part that locks the top in place and were difficult to use. There was not too much closet space. The furniture was a bit sparse.

The room was like in the pictures, just more spacious. It was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and the location is top - near the cathedral in the gothic neighbourhood. I recommend for sure if you don't want to save on the hotel.

A balcony would have been nice, but it's still a top location.
