The location was brilliant. Really central and close by to lots of lovely restaurants. The bathroom was really efficiently laid out and the shower worked well. Everything was clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. Brilliant value for a short stay in Barcelona

The breakfast wasn't brilliant both in quality and choice. Though we expected this from previous reviews. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for anything longer than a couple of nights. The rooms are very small, and not very well sound proofed, so it was really noisy.

5 star location, clean hotel, 24 hour reception, air-con is working well, kind and helpful staff, thanks to Jemal and Jovanna from reception and all the staff who put effort for the hotel, at the breakfast, cleaning.. Hotel also arranges taxi for airport transfer from an official taxi company which can come to the door of the hotel

- This is the location to stay at when in Barcelona. It’s in the gothic quarters and we were lucky to have found a room here. - Everything is walkable - Las Ramblas Street, Gothic Quarters, Cathedral, Columbus Statue, Aquarium, metro station, etc. etc. - Super vibrant with lots of high-rated restaurants at the doorstep. - Includes basic continental breakfast to kick-start your day. - Staff is nice and helpful. - I am a light sleeper and requested a quiet room, which they gave me. The room had no view but I had a peaceful sleep amid all the action. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and I slept like a baby. - The building has an elevator which is a big plus if you have heavy luggage like we did. - The room was super neat and clean and had good air conditioning. - They have an outdoor restaurant right outside the hotel which is very good as well.

- The hotel’s basic and the breakfast is boring but we knew this before deciding to book the room. If you are looking for luxury, this hotel is not for you. - The bathing area/tub was too small and the shower curtain kept sticking to the body due to the ventilation in the washroom. It was very hard to bathe like that in that little space.

My friend and I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, just steps away from La Rambla. It made exploring Barcelona incredibly easy and enjoyable. The room was a pleasant surprise: decently sized, not cramped like many city hotels I've stayed in before. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the bathroom was particularly spacious and modern. The air conditioning worked perfectly and, unlike in some places, there was no extra charge for it — a big plus during the warm summer days.

There were only two downsides to our stay. The pillows were too thin and not very comfortable, which made it a bit harder to get a good night’s sleep. Also, the breakfast offering was quite limited — mostly sweet pastries, jams, cornflakes, milk, fruit yogurt, and coffee. Unfortunately, there were no savory options available, which might be disappointing for guests who prefer a more balanced breakfast. That said, the overall experience was still very positive. The location, cleanliness, and comfort made it a solid choice, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The location is amazing and terrific for accessing the metro, the food markets and many attractions such as the Cathedral, the Picasso museum, the beach, the marina, and, of course, La There is a lot to like about the location - close to metros, attractions such as the cathedral, the Picasso museum, the beach and marina, and, of course, La Rambla. There are many great restaurants and bars readily accessible although we did a lot of walking (our choice) though we could have used the metro a lot if we wanted. The staff were terrific and the room was very clean.

The room and facilities were basic (no kettle, no bar fridge, limited power points) though it was a pleasant surprise because we had low expectations.

The location is fantastic — the balcony opens right onto the beautiful Plaça Reial, and most major attractions are within walking distance. Even the beach is just a 15-minute walk away, which was perfect. The staff was very kind and accommodating. After a long flight, we really appreciated being able to check in early — thank you again! The room itself is modest in size, but that’s quite typical in Europe, so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Just one thing to keep in mind for summer travelers: there is no fridge in the room, which would have been helpful for keeping drinks cold. We were aware of this at the time of booking, so it's not a complaint — just a note for future guests and a small suggestion for the hotel. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place!

I stayed there for 5 nights. The location is the best, 5 stars just for the location :) If you are looking for a good place to stay for your trip at this price, this is the best. Cleanliness is there, but be aware that the hotel is a bit old and you won't find it perfectly clean. Basic rooms, with towels and shower gel. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast is very basic, just coffee, tea, juice, jams, bread, butter and croissants and yogurt. Even though breakfast is included in the price, I didn't pay extra and didn't expect more, it was still nice to have a cup of coffee and a snack before leaving the hotel in the morning. The location is so perfect that there are many cafes nearby and finding places to have breakfast outside was not a problem. The main attractions are very close, so if you only want a hotel for the night and enjoy the city to the fullest, this is a good hotel for that.

I don't think I have anything negative to say, because what was written in the description was exactly what we found at the hotel.

There was no option to prepare anything earlier or get a takeaway box, which was a bit disappointing. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. And the price was excellent, especially for such a central location in Barcelona. I will definitely come back next time I visit the city.

the location was fabulous, the Placa Reial is busy and vibrant, in a fab location. there is a taxi rank close by, just off las Ramblas, a short walk either direction to city centre or the sea . the staff were so helpful, rooms clean, basic, but had what you needed, beds comfy, clean bedding, shower worked perfectly, it felt safe in the hotel and although there were no views, I didn’t go to Barcelona to look out of the window, I went to enjoy the city and we did. breakfast was ok, cornflakes, tea coffee juice and pastries. it was fresh and although not a huge choice was enough to set you up for the day .

probably not set up for the less able bodied, as the stairs down to breakfast were quite steep, although there may have been an alternative route I wasn’t aware of. and the lift was quite small, but worked perfectly,
