The location is amazing and terrific for accessing the metro, the food markets and many attractions such as the Cathedral, the Picasso museum, the beach, the marina, and, of course, La There is a lot to like about the location - close to metros, attractions such as the cathedral, the Picasso museum, the beach and marina, and, of course, La Rambla. There are many great restaurants and bars readily accessible although we did a lot of walking (our choice) though we could have used the metro a lot if we wanted. The staff were terrific and the room was very clean.

The room and facilities were basic (no kettle, no bar fridge, limited power points) though it was a pleasant surprise because we had low expectations.

the location was fabulous, the Placa Reial is busy and vibrant, in a fab location. there is a taxi rank close by, just off las Ramblas, a short walk either direction to city centre or the sea . the staff were so helpful, rooms clean, basic, but had what you needed, beds comfy, clean bedding, shower worked perfectly, it felt safe in the hotel and although there were no views, I didn’t go to Barcelona to look out of the window, I went to enjoy the city and we did. breakfast was ok, cornflakes, tea coffee juice and pastries. it was fresh and although not a huge choice was enough to set you up for the day .

probably not set up for the less able bodied, as the stairs down to breakfast were quite steep, although there may have been an alternative route I wasn’t aware of. and the lift was quite small, but worked perfectly,

I stayed there for 5 nights. The location is the best, 5 stars just for the location :) If you are looking for a good place to stay for your trip at this price, this is the best. Cleanliness is there, but be aware that the hotel is a bit old and you won't find it perfectly clean. Basic rooms, with towels and shower gel. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast is very basic, just coffee, tea, juice, jams, bread, butter and croissants and yogurt. Even though breakfast is included in the price, I didn't pay extra and didn't expect more, it was still nice to have a cup of coffee and a snack before leaving the hotel in the morning. The location is so perfect that there are many cafes nearby and finding places to have breakfast outside was not a problem. The main attractions are very close, so if you only want a hotel for the night and enjoy the city to the fullest, this is a good hotel for that.

I don't think I have anything negative to say, because what was written in the description was exactly what we found at the hotel.

The staff named Jamil is the worst. I reported that something is unusual at the other room because it’s really noisy and we was woke up at 4am and told him to check the CCTV and his answer is the worst ever. Is it nice to answer that it’s not his problem anymore that we can’t go back to sleep? I dialed a number and I can’t reached it that’s why I went down just to be answered rudely. I asked for our room keycard because I left it at the counter when we went out, then he told us that it’s not at the counter…hayzzz…

Great value for your money and a great location on a quieter plaza near La Rambla with plenty of options for food or just a quick drink. Only cold breakfast was served, but that was okay as we only stayed one night each time before travelling. All staff were professional, friendly and very helpful, providing useful info when asked. Thank you.

Very small lift and not a lot of space going up and down the stairs. When busy, there can be traffic with people waiting. The same with the stairs down to the breakfast area - they are quite narrow, okay for one way, but when busy, people will have to wait to get through.

Amazing location, very clean nice staff.

I'll say basic, but I expected that.good breakfast, just missed some ham/cheese not expensive items but for anyone liking savoury items for breakfast it was all very sweet, but very good quality, excellent breads! Could have one or two channels on the TV in English, but that's a detail.Quite noisy and echoey,doors slamming etc but this is as much the guests fault as the hotel. We had a room on the back and while not much of a view I expect it is a calmer option as although the square is lovely, it is buzzing and noisy till very late.

Location was great. Last Ramblas is alive and bustling. Hotel was below average. Reception area was great. Rooms were basic plain, nothing Xtra. TV had no English channels and was not a Smart TV. Beds were small. Was just a place to shower, brush teeth, sleep, get up and go. Free breakfast was basically coffee and breads. No pastries, no meat. No eggs. 1 cereal. Coffee was good. Place was however clean.

Room was plain and basic. Elevator was a lift. No laundry facility or Cary out service. Very basic necessities.

Location is the best one. Very Center near the beach - 15min Near the Port 5 min. Near the metro - 3 min In Barion Gotico. Near Placa Catalunya (shopping area) 9 min. Near Rambla and La Boqueria Mercat 2 min. Palau Guell 2 min. View is fantastic - looking at the Placa Reial 4th floor. You have elevator. Breakfast is a good thing to have in the morning. (coffee, tea, milk, cornflex, croissant, jam, butter - that's it). People buy Jamon, tomato, etc, and make sandwiches, because there is no ham and cheese. Ned's were very comfortable. It looks they are small, but the person 190cm was sleeping well. Staff Is so nice.

The place is clean, but old. Yet, it's exactly like on the pictures. More toiletries needed. They are in bags so if you wanna wash hands you have to squeeze iz in the glass, than wash your hands. Shampoo and bath in one, no conditioner. Hairdryer on demand. People say it isnoisy, but what do you expect when you are on Placa Reial - one of the most lively places in Barca during the night. And windows are good so you don't hear it. There was one biiiig bug on the floor when we came. Didn't see them after. TV is way to small. But we didn't stay at room a lot... Not safe box in the room (didn't expect one)

Hotel is at the best location, so close everything. The Placa Reial is very noisy itself but rooms on the opposite side of building are fine. Room used for sleeping only and was ok. Clean.

Beds could be more comfortable and got only one pillow, but the blanket is a very thin old one, not so comfortable. Walls are paper thin, if you happen to have a noisy neighbor next door, that could be a problem while sleeping. Breakfast is always too late and not much selection but was not a problem, we found a lovely coffee shop next corner.
