The room was very well set up and quite lovely. The team had clearly done their best to make sure we were comfortable, including noise canceling options. It's a great location in the Gothic Quarter .

The location also means that it comes with its own challenges. This was honestly one of the noisiest places we have stayed in . Absolutely not the hotel's fault, but you do need to know that the sounds from the street from the drunken party goers do not stop all night. Also, because you are in an ally, everything echoes from music to shouting. There is also a noticeable smell of urine in the ally way. None of this is the fault of the hotel, but it does need to be considered if you stay in this area.

We had a pleasant stay at Los Arcos in Barcelona. The location is excellent - close to key sights, we took most destinations by feet. The room was clean, though not spacious at all - we booked the basic one. The bed was king size and super comfortable for a good night rest. The ambiance was charming, with a mix of traditional and modern touches. We enjoyed having lockers for our luggage prior to check-in and after check-out. The support team of Sonders is also on point. We had an issue with the shower head - it could not be attached to the showed rod, so they helped us with the situation on the first working day after our check-in.

At night you can hear every 10 minutes the metro tube passing by. If you are laying in bed the whole ground is shaking for several seconds, but this is not a problem of the specific hotel, but rather - a problem of the whole neighborhood.

Can’t beat the Location. Cleanliness, decor, shower products were all excellent.

The beds were very firm and pillows were too thin, we only had 1 pillow each I called for 2 more which arrived promptly. The main problem was the odour, perhaps sewer from being in the old quarter? Better ventilation was required, some nights it was extremely strong and off putting. Felt it was expensive for the very small room, no breakfast and no hotel perks.

The perfect hotel rooms for a weekend getaway. Gorgeous building and it's even more breathtaking when you walk in. The high ceilings with the stone and wood details and the arch with tiles as the bed headboard are the highlights of the room. The sofa is of great quality memory foam and can even be use as a bed, which wasn't needed for us but it's there if needed. The bed was remarkable, great quality bedding and extra large bed, we felt like kings. The bathroom also had good quality toiletries, big bottles of shower gel, champu and conditioner. The hotel is right on the heart of the gothic quarter and just few steps to Las ramblas with easy access to the metro (Liceu L3 Line). But also easy access to majority of the city best places by foot. The only thing we recommend is to bring earplugs for a good night sleep, as is right on a busy square.

The property was very clean and the staff was very responsive. The property is ideally located in such a central area, a block from Las Ramblas, but quiet as the rooms are set back off the street. It was very nice that they had an elevator in the building and the self check-in process was very easy and smooth. There is an excellent cafe on the same street on the corner, Rumas coffee. This made it easy to grab breakfast and multiple lunch and dinner restaurants are mere steps away. The bed was comfortable but is extra firm.

The location, decor, hygiene, accessibility and staff were helpful and efficient.

My bag was stolen from the reception area whilst I was trying to check in. It happened right behind us without realising. Senior staff member did look and confirmed it took place on site. They refused to give us an outcome of the ‘disappearance’ of my bag which had all my medicines, clothes and essential items including documents! I wasn’t offered any essential items apart from an apology and they will look into it. I had to report to the police, which took over 3 hours to do so. We were there for only 2 nights. The experience made us unsafe and quite nervous for the duration- however the area is very central and easy accessible.

Everything about our stay was fantastic! The room was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed. The front desk staff at the location just across the square in Plaça Reial were very helpful and polite. The property is in great condition, and the location is absolutely unbeatable! We will definitely hope to stay here again for our next Barcelona trip.

Our only negative was that there were no washcloths in the room or in the communal supply cupboard. We had to wash ourselves in the shower with hand towels, which worked just fine, but a smaller washcloth would definitely have been more practical.

Sonder Los Arcos is located right in the Gothic Quarter, and near a lively square with restaurants, art during the day, bars, clubs, and the like. Perfect location to enjoy Barcelona, with all of the sights and sounds within walking distance. The room was clean and a good size for European standards, especially the restroom. Smart systems allow you to check in and check out conveniently, as well as access the building and room with keyless entry, which made the room feel secure despite not having an actual help desk.

The only thing that we didn't like was that the elevator does not go to the bottom floor, so getting luggage to higher rooms is not easy. Elevator in general is slow, but adequate and, despite the speed, we never had issues accessing it when needed.

Accommodation exceeded expectations. Security excellent, keyless entry. Located just off Plaza Reala. 8 world-class restaurants around the Plaza. Tapa-Tapa an 8 out of 10, Ocea best breakfast, Nits best overall. The room is comfortable, and a nice balcony. The room has modern conveniences Close to La Rambla and the Market(8 minute walk ), We avoided the restaurants on La Rambla( a suggestion), and there is plenty of great traditional Catalonia/ tapas in the Gothic area that Sonder is located. Spend a few hours wandering the Gothic streets and shops.
