We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The hotel is situated right on Ramblas street and just a quick walk from the Christopher Columbus column. Despite being in the heart of Barcelona, the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While my stay was overall enjoyable, there were a couple of issues worth mentioning. Firstly, I found it slightly inconvenient that there is a charge of 2 euros for storing luggage if you arrived before the room was ready. It would have been nice if this service was complimentary, as it’s a common courtesy offered by many hotels. Secondly, while the breakfast offered a decent selection, I would have appreciated more verity when it comes to cheese options.

Staff were very responsive and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

Room was very small. I missed having a fridge and some coffee/ tea making facilities. Having said that, they probably would not have actually fitted in to the tiny room. Staff did provide a kettle upon request.

We were staying in Barcelona for 3 nights before getting on a cruise ship, so the location was perfect. It was in walking distance to a lot of sights and a short ride to the port. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. The staff at the reception desk was friendly and helpful in giving us directions and suggestions. The outdoor space with lounge chairs on the 5th floor was wonderful to relax in while waiting to check in.

Unfortunately, we arrived at the airport very early in the morning after traveling all night, so to check in at 4:00P.M. is exhausting. However, when you consider that they don't make you check out until 12 noon, it's great at the other end.

Room was comfortable and very clean but a little basic. If you are staying for sight seeing you won’t be in your room all day so it’s absolutely fine for this kind of stay. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, hot breakfast and a large buffet of cold and continental breakfast items. The staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Hotel is on La Ramblas so very central to everything, an ideal location. We had a great couple of days at this hotel.

We had a room with no view outside the window. Window opened onto a square in the middle of the building which made the room a little dark. However we were not in the room all day so it wasn’t too much of a problem. This was advertised in the room description so we knew what we were booking. If you want a view out the window book a room with a view.

The location was excellent. Most attractions were probably no further than a 30 minute walk. Some others were a bit further afield, so you could take a slow walk up and stop for a drink or two, or if unable to walk that far then there’s the option of a taxi, which are quite affordable too. The staff were friendly and always happy to help. The view from the room was lovely, and also nice to see that there is continuous works and improvements. The noise didn’t bother us as we weren’t in the room or hotel when works were happening. The temperature of the shower kept changing, which was a little annoying.

We chose Arc La Rambla as our base ahead of embarking on a cruise, and arrived in the city by train at the Sants station. We had no trouble finding a taxi to take us to our lovely hotel, where we would spend 2 nights. Pulling up right outside the hotel, on the exciting La Rambla avenue, we were not disappointed with our choice. The check in was straight forward and efficient, and we were happy to have been accommodated with our two rooms on the same floor, close to one another. Our teenage daughters in a small Double room, and my husband and I in a Double room with a Ramblas view, which was just what I had wished for. The rooms were lovely and clean, and opening our terrace doors we were immediately transported from the quiet peaceful room, where we had no issue getting restful sleep, to the wonderful energy of La Rambla. We chose not to make use of the breakfast option at the hotel, rather choosing to wander the lovely pedestrian area and have something local. The reaction and response from the staff was always fantastic, whether it was highlighting there was an issue with the wifi, and when it would be resolved, to helping reactivate room keys which had stopped working. The location of the hotel was ideal for taking in the Placa Catalunya, wandering the Port, and exploring the gorgeous Gothic Quarter.

The air conditioning was a bit stifling in the small Double room, this was related to the central controls and being between seasons, it is always difficult to satisfy different guests and their requirements. When we highlighted to the staff that the room was too warm, and the air con could not cool it down sufficiently, they rushed up a desk fan to plug in and assist.

Location is excellent, on La Rambla with many options for dining and touring Barcelona. Small balcony overlooking La Rambla. Very quiet with doors closed. Very good full breakfast with many options. Staff very friendly. Very accommodating to stay another night due to a delayed departure.

Room was much smaller than described. Actually, very tiny for 2 persons. Minimal amenities. Hair dryer not operable, though a replacement delivered after calling desk. Had to use cell phone as room phone was just a phone. Very bare bones compared to other hotels we have stayed in Barcelona. Bed and linens okay but not great.

The hotel situated next to metro station , which is super comfortable , we got from airport to the hotel by metro without any difficulties! Public transport works great you can buy tickets for 24 or 48 hours , and travel by bus and train limitless. Front desk workers were lovely, English speaking, which is very important, they have lockers for the luggage, the room was clear , very comfortable! The other option that the hotel is near to port , so you can walk in the morning, there are so many cafes in front of the hotel to drink sangria to have some meal, and in that street yo can find market , la boqueira , which is must visit places as a tou! So I do recommend the hotel , and will com back again!!!

Clean, modern, staff was very nice, great location

My friend bathroom tiolet had issues and they were told twice but it wasn't fixed. Didn't feel like the ac was working right. It was on lowest setting and the rooms never got really cool. Asked for twin beds, and they were made seperate but they were still right next to each other. We pushed them apart a few inches and the next day they were together again. I was traveling with my 18 year old son. Did want to sleep in what was basically a queen bed with him.

Amazing location. Metro station is literally outside. It’s at the bottom end of La Ramblas and right in the gothic quarter. Lovely for going out in the evening. We booked the small double room. I did this purposefully so we had the cheapest (not cheap) option available and no view of La Ramblas so we knew we’d have a bad view of the back of the hotel, but it was so quiet. We wanted somewhere peaceful to return to and it really was. Great 3 star hotel and reception staff are friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our sink plug getting stuck and no water would drain and the guy behind reception fixed it promptly. They are super informative at check in too.

Breakfast could be better. The hot food wasn’t hot at all. Barely luke warm. The pastries and everything else was of a good quality and tasty. Being British we just missed beans. I booked breakfast as we were only staying 2 days and wanted to quickly pop down and eat and go out exploring, but I’d recommend just finding breakfast out if you can.
