This is not the Hilton , but who cares , perfect location, accommodating staff, comfortable bed , great price !

Nothing we didn’t like , but word of caution, if your at front of hotel you will hear street noise , especially at 3am when Irish pub gets out , we actually loved the singing by all the bar patrons

The location of the hotel is perfect! You have two metro stations 2-3min from the hotel and everything La Rambla has to offer right under your nose. The breakfast was continental, with tea, coffee, hard boiled eggs, ham.. we booked a room with a terrace and got one on the 9th floor, the view was amazing and we even got two sunbeds on the terrace - but it was raining :( The hotel is clean, with two elevators, the maids cleaned our room daily. In the toilet we had a blowdryer, bidet and enough clean towels. All in all, amazing value for money.

The only thing we “didn’t like” was that, at least for us on the 9th floor, we could hear the metro train whenever it passed. But since we walked all day and fell asleep the moment we hit the bed, it was okay. So we don’t see as the hotel faults, just bear in mind if you are a light sleeper it may affect you.

The hotel is bang in the middle of Las Ramblas, so you couldn't ask for a better location. The building is obviously very old, but the upper floors have been remodernised. It is very quiet considering its location, and if you are lucky enough to get a room with a terrace being on the 8th and 9th floors, you get stunning views of the harbour, the city and the hills beyond. It really is an ideal spot to base yourself while in Barcelona. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is continental as you would expect, and the choices are plentiful. If you check out before breakfast starts at 08.00, they will make you a packed breakfast so you won't go hungry. The only downsides of our room was the lack of electric power points in the room and no air-conditioning. We were there the first week in April, and even then, the room was extremely warm. There was a 3 position switch on the wall that operated a form of air-conditioning, but it was little use.We didn't ask if they would provide a fan. But the biggest disappointment for us was the lack of tea or coffee facilities in the room. This was sorely missed in what otherwise would have been a 1st class location for visiting Barcelona, and we would certainly stay there again.

The room was pristine, it looked like it had been cleaned thoroughly to the last detail, it was very well lit and it had very good resources. The view was a dream my family was relaxing there for the majority of the time that we had to stay in, seagulls were flying over us which was a very cool experience. We were able to gaze at almost all the city’s attractions like sagrada familia, colombus statue, hotel vela and many others, the room’s price is MORE than reasonable. Also the staff was very helpful and pleasant with humour :)

There was literally nothing that we didn’t like about it.

Perfect location- the main street in Barcelona. Close to restaurants, harbour, metro, bus. Good breakfast, good contact with staff, pienić breakfast for early leavers. Restaurant in place! Room and bathroom was big enough- with all items needed. Comfortable bed! Quality to price radio = excellent!

A bit of vibrations from metro; Maybe could be a bit better cleaning (or rather more bright on corridors, restaurant, stairways) - however in relations to price was more than expected!

I liked to hotel, terrace was absolutely amazing! I chose this hotel because of the terrace view and it met expectations. Location was great, hotel is at Rambla street and I liked it. Breakfast is ok, good enough. Staff is really polite. There is a storage room that you can use for free and 2 euros charge if you want lockers, what is affordable. In general I was happy with my choice.

I was aware of hotel disadvantages, I saw that some rooms are modern and some not. My room was not renovated, but it wasn't so bad, it was clean. I missed bathroom hangers, iron and kettle, that would make my experience better.

Location for visiting Barcelona

Hotel is in the busy area, on the street, it’s noisy, but we didn’t mind. We had spacious room at the sixth floor with view to Sagrada Família, cathedral of Barcelona, very beautiful view. Breakfast was excellent, very good espresso in the bar. Two metro stations are near, port is near, gothic quarter and Plaça Reial with good restaurants.

Although cleaning lady was making the beds and changing the towels every day, it was dusty around and under the bed.

The staff of the reception were extremely friendly and always supportive. The position is simply great: as you exit the hotel you are rigth into the Rambla and very near to many attractive places. The view rom the terrasse was not bad: a glance towards Montjuic and the roof of Casa Guell.

For that price I expected maybe a more comfortable room. The only plugs available were in the bathroom and near the bed. I would have appreciated to have one near the desk to pluh in the laptop.
