Duquesa was fantastic! Perfect location, close to many sites or just down the road from the hop on/off bus for those abit further away. Area felt perfectly safe, many restaurants all within easy walking distance. Staff were all very friendly and attentive and the rooftop bar had superb views. Room was great, comfy beds, plenty of storage and the kitchen area was clean and had everything we needed...especially the coffee machine! Would recommend a high room on the front, great views over the harbour!

Very clean and comfortable, felt safe and secure, some noise from the street but with window closed - very quiet. Air con nice and powerful and cooled the room quickly. Great water pressure and temperature in shower. Good ventilation in bathroom. Quite compact apartment but well-designed so very functional and even with 3 of us we found the room easy to use. Thoughtful and helpful staff. Daily room clean was done exceptionally well. Breakfast was sensational.

The reception area when you enter the property is very small and tired and doesn’t at all reflect the lovely property beyond it. I understand they intend to renovate this shortly.

Phenomenal boutique hotel, with cosy rooms, awesome bar and pool on the roof and the best staff ever! I highly recommend booking the deluxe suite with sea view and terrace - the apartment has everything you need, kitchenette included. The breakfast is delicious, with a plethora of option - be aware, it is served in a nearby hotel, 2 minutes walk away. The hotel is located in the best possible place - on the edge of Bari Gotic, 10 mins to La Rambla and 10 mins to Barceloneta. Great little restaurants and bars all around, great public transport is also available. It was one of my best stays anywhere. Special thanks to really helpful, really nice and really accomodating reception team!

The place was spacious and well-organized. We especially loved the terrace and the beautiful view! The location couldn’t have been better — everything was within walking distance, the area was open and safe. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was cleaned daily, fresh water bottles were provided every day, and we even received a complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommended!

It’s a bit outdated, the floor has too many scratches and the kitchen can be restored as well - especially for a 4 stars hotel.

Perfect location, friendly stuff, rooftop with spectacular view. The room was big, the kitchen had everything necessary for cooking. It was quiet even though the building is located in the middle of the city.

The room might be cleaner - there were hair on the floor, assumingly from previous visitors. Overall floor cleaning might be better. There was no toilet brush in the bathroom. The pool on the rooftop is only about 0,5m deep and not suitable for swimming.

The room had a port view which we requested.Size of room was good and a plus was the kitchenette. Bathroom was also neat clean and modern.The staff was always welcoming and friendly . The roof top bar has amazing views of the port. My overall experience of this hotel was great and I would go back as it’s close to the Big Bus route and walking distance to some of the sites and beach.

There is very little bad about the hotel, a bit of construction in the reception area and road frontage, but these did impact our stay. These is city noise that filters through to the room as we are on a Main Street; but again , this did not impact us. I think my only issue is with staying in the gothic quarter, as there is limited rest rooms in the city and bar and restaurant goers use the streets as their rest room which is not great a smell when you are leaving and getting back to the hotel.

This hotel's prime location serves as a perfect base for exploring Barcelona on foot. You're just steps away from Barceloneta beach and within short walking distance to major attractions like the Cathedral, La Rambla, and the Gothic Quarter. The area is also surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. The rooms offered spectacular views of the city, surpassed only by the even more impressive vistas of the sunrise from the rooftop. Our stay was enhanced by thoughtful amenities, including a convenient in-room microwave. The staff's outstanding hospitality was demonstrated when they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of wine after our first night. Look online for cheaper parking on the Parclick app rather than doing a drive in which costs significantly more. (Blue land Princesa- €31 euro for 2 nights within a 5 minute walk)

While our stay was overwhelmingly positive, there were two small suggestions for improvement: - The rooms would benefit from the addition of a full-length mirror - The Wi-Fi connection process could be simplified for easier guest access However, these minor points did not significantly impact our overall experience.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

The hotel is centrally located in the port district with easy access to shops, restaurants and pubs. Neighborhood felt safe although one might want to be cautious on side streets after the shops have closed. Suite was clean and comfortable although tight for space. Dishes, cookware and utensils were provided. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with information and suggestions. Breakfast is provided at a sister hotel just 2 minute's walk away. Dining room staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast provided lots of options. Particularly enjoyed the champagne and orange juice option. Would certainly stay here again if in Barcelona.

Size of the unit itself.

Very good, was surprised it was in another building down the road for breakfast. Very good choice of breakfast food and nicely set out. Staff mainly very friendly and helpful.

The room shutters wouldn’t fasten properly. The room would benefit from some kind of extra sound proofing from the road as it was exceptionally noisy at night from people shouting in the street below, cars, sirens, boat/ship horns etc which was very sleep disrupting. The room appeared very clean but on entry each time had a strong odour from the bathroom like urine.

Great little apartment room. They provided a baby cot with an added excellent mattress and a high chair. Good location. coffee machine, microwave, kettle, pots and Pans etc all provided

There was a very bad smell coming from the kitchenette sink. They offered to move us on our last day but with a baby it would have been a faf. They explained it’s an old area with band pipes… I also hate when they get 2 single beds, push them together and throw a thick sheet over it and call it an extra large double. the Mattresses could do with replacing.
