We loved our welcome and the room and surrounding areas were very clean and attractive. Our favourite part was being able to take the lift to the Terrace to read or have a drink. The hotel is within walking distance to many places or to public transport.

I am not sure if this is a Spanish custom, but when we arrived we were looking forward to a cup of tea, but there was no kettle in the room. There is a cafe within the hotel, but after travelling it would be good to just put the kettle on in the room. I think for the money we paid a kettle with a few tea and coffee bags would make this place perfect.

The room was exceptionally nice, with a city view in three directions. The room sound-proofing was excellent and necessary- Barcelona can be VERY noisy. The bathroom was clean and very nicely appointed. The shower was superb, with multiple, modern and highly functional shower heads. Water pressure and temperature were really great. After a long day of sightseeing, it was a delight to relax under the soothing water cascade. The staff were very kind, considerate and attentive to every request. Breakfast was excellent, and cost was reasonable given the location. Metro access was within the same block and the Barcelona Sants train station was a short cab ride away.

Conveniently located near the Metro station in a lovely neighborhood. The personal care products are from L’occitane which is nice. Breakfast is not included but you can purchase for the days you want to have it. The selection of food is high quality despite the limited varieties. There’s no kettle or coffee machine in the room. The staff kindly sent a kettle to our room after we asked for one. (coz I wanna make some hot tea.) The Chinese restaurant right across the street was nice. Suitable for a casual dinner if you want a change for food after a few days.

Hôtel was beautiful, lovely decor, room was comfortable and proximity to a metro train stop was ideal. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choices and the food on the 7th floor terrace was excellent. Staff member Alejandro was absolutely wonderful, helping me with my very bad Spanish and excellent customer service. He made my stay enjoyable by his kindness and warm welcome. Gracias Alejandro x

No kettle to make a cup of tea and no ironing board and iron. I didn’t want to pay extra for an ironing service and in Australia an iron is a standard thing in a hotel room, even budget hotels. Encountered a rude bar tender one night (Wednesday 31st), he made me feel unwelcome on the rooftop terrace which I let the reception know. A young man with a poor attitude.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Emilia and would definitely recommend it. The staff were the highlight for us - a very friendly receptionist who helped us during check-in and kindly gave us a room upgrade. There was also a wonderful waitress at the bar who recommended a great wine from Tarragona and gave us travel recommendations for Tarragona and other parts of Spain we didn't know so much about. Our room was spacious and clean. You can fully open the window/door which is lovely so can have a cool breeze in the room. Shower and wifi all worked well. Room could be a little dark but it wasn't an issue. It was quiet at night. Terrace was great and we ate some snacks and had a drink there, though it was a little chilly in February so we only used it once during our stay. We didn't have dinner or breakfast at the hotel, but we did enjoy wine, olives, nuts and Spanish omelette which were available to order from the bar.

We chose this location in Barcelona as we hadn't stayed in this area before. It's a lovely area with a local feel, good bars and cafes etc around. It is, however, not super close to some touristy things which is some ways is good, but others may feel not so much if they like to be in the hubbub.

There are boutique hotel that say they are boutique hotels and then you have Villa Emilia. It's a small hotel with big and nicely decorated rooms and also the roof terrace is very inviting. Staff always do their best to create the ultimate guest experience and it's a hotel I would repeat. The breakfast is also very good with a wide buffet to choose from.

The room was a decent size with a chair and lots of space. The bathroom was a decent size. The toiletries were excellent especially the body lotion. Breakfast was very good with a large choice of things to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to have a roof top lounge

the range of cocktails provided was limited and when I asked for something else, I was told they don't have the ingredients. Menu in rooftop lounge was very limited.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel, room, and location are all comfortable, especially during the heat. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, especially the staff who made sure to let me know what was on offer. Able to accommodate when small changes needed to be made.

Nothing, my only comment would be that the mattress was a little firm, but that's about it.

The lobby and restaurant areas were very nice. I also loved the rooftop terrace, a great place to wind down and have a drink after exploring all day. I also thought the room was very nice. Beautiful design and the bathroom was fantastic. Great size room for a hotel in Europe. I recommend the breakfast, the staff were so pleasant and the food was good.

I recently stayed at Villa Emilia and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was impeccably clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any inquiries or requests. The hotel’s location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. I highly recommend Villa Emilia for anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay!
