This is my second stay, It was a wonderful experience for me and my family. Hotel has a very strategic location. Everything was smooth, clear and perfect AS USUAL. All staff are very helpful especially the lady of morning shift, she's exceptionally kind and helpful with great communication skills. The rooms were very nice, tidy and clean and beds were very comfortable. The space area is large more than expected. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Most landmarks are very close even transportation means. Much much appreciated. Thank you.

My expectations were higher than the hotel itself was. There are a lot of fotos which are different than what i expected. The fotos u mostly see on the website and social media not exactly telling what to expect for example the solarium. Which is the rooftop. İt looks better in the pictures and oddly enough it has more pictures than what the hotel looks like itself. İ like the raw style of the hotel though. The roms seem a bit bland but its fine. You can use the coffee machine and the water dispenser till 12 am. Which is also in the cafetaria which they totally close off. İ liked the idea of a self serving bar it is nice that they trust their guests. The personell was always very nice. The rooms are being cleaned every day. Even if you are s late sleeper they will come later. Bath tub was unfortunatly too deep for me which led to a sliding incident while getting out. though the hotel was easily offering a compensation and were very understanding and helpfull. The breakfast options were ok. But not always fresh. Such as the vegetables which dried up. Or the cheese which was a bit sweaty from reusing it. But it was an open buffet and there is noone watching over you, which is usual in other hotels. You can just eat without feeling the shame of what, how and how much you eat. The location is a bit far from the usual tourist attractions but that was no problem there are enough busstops and metro stations around. The mercadonna and even the big mall is close. There are kiosks everywhere 24 7 open. .İ would still recommend this place it is quiet and relaxed. İt is a decent place with nice employees.

Hotel is small but all renovated and chic. Rooms are small, bed is comfy, and toilet all good. You have everything you need to be out during the day and have a resting night. Hotel is well located, just a few blocks away from Plaza Espana y Arenas Shopping Centre. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they lend us an umbrella on a rainy day, and I saw they offer bike rental too. There are lifts, a very well decorated breakfast/bar area, and even a cute small terrace to enjoy time outdoors.

The experience and the stay was good, no complains, but in comparison with other hotels in the area of Sants, that are 4 stars, prices are similar, which makes this hotel a bit overpriced for being a 3 stars

It was a very exceptional experience at Chic & basic velvet hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists. The rooms were tidy and clean and beds were comfortable. You'll feel among your family members at Chic & basic velvet hotel especially at the restaurant offering family vibes with breakfast full of freshness. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful surrounding atmosphere. Me and my family were very pleased with our stay and we'll return soon. The hotel location is perfect! My room was clean and comfortable. It had little details that made me happy such has a tote bag, 2 chupa chups, a bottle of water, bag of chips, wine, and in the bathroom there were toothbrushes. (Helpful as i forgot mine at home. The terrece is gorgeous and not to mention the sitting lounge where breakfast is served. I didn't interact much with staff memebers but the little that i did i found them really helpful.

The room doors need to be closed hard making a huge noise. It made me uncomfortable as this either woke someone up in their rooms as i closed the door or it woke me up as the neighbors came in and out.

Everything was great. Hotel is clean, just a bit outdated bathroom. But again, very clean and maintained. Bedroom was great and comfortable beds. The hotel actually gives you a little welcome pack including: tote bag (to keep), mini bottle of wine, chips and lollipops. This was a wonderful little feature. Bathroom also had a toothbrush and earplugs.. very thoughtful. My room was on top floor, and I did end up using the earplugs since some neighbors were being loud.great location- 5 minute walk to various metro stations- 15 minute walk to placa de catalunya. Will be back for sure!

Our stay was a wonderfull experience. For this price we ussualy had gotten worse places. Here the staff was super kind, the facilities were nicer that we expected. In the bathroom there were even toothbrushes, which we don't see recently in hotels such stars in Barca. Very clean and even compliments from cleaner for our kid. It is clear their nice attitude to clients. The restarant and the terrace are nicer in real than the pictures. Just the price of the breakfast was high, but it really worth it. Very comfortable bed. One thing: the one cleaner shouldn't knock in the door to remind us when is the time to clean. I recommend 200% .It deserves more stars.

Great cute hotel. Nothing too fancy but exactly what you need. Super friendly and sweet staff, room was quite, bed was comfy. It wasn't fancy and there were some flaws - but it was matching the price. I really liked the rooftop - which has a beautiful view of the city. And the "honest bar" - which is really cool. Location is perfect in a little street that is close to main areas and walking distance from Plaza D'Espania and central station. I'll definitely come back to this hotel!

The shower and sink were a little old and water was spraying around a little. Also the rooms are pretty small.

I spent a week at this wonderful hotel and was absolutely delighted. Start with the view from the window. The bathtub was a special treat, where I could relax after long and intense workdays on an tedious project — it was lifesaver! The pillows in the room were the best I’ve ever experienced, and now I’m dreaming of getting the same ones for my home. It’s very thoughtful that one pillow is firmer and the other is softer – that’s exactly how I sleep at home! An unexpected bonus was the earplugs which was provided at the check in, they became essential during the fireworks festival, allowing me to rest peacefully. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which added to the comfort. Everything in the room worked perfectly, with no broken items or inconveniences. I managed to both work and relax. This is truly an ideal place for those who appreciate comfort and relaxation!

The hotel was so nice. Nicely designed, dimmed light, golden accents. And small funny texts on shampoo or bathroom doors. We enjoyed every minute. The room was cleaned everyday, fresh towels. Terrace with comfy seats and coffee, tea or water to drink whenever you please. The location was perfect because the area was more local so a quiet but still close to any place by different types of transportation. I would honestly stay here again.
