Friendly people. Delicious food.

Casa was hard to find. The town streets are narrow and steep. But once we were there, we were warmly welcomed and had a restful stay.

The room was clean. The bathroom was very nice. The food was very good and so was the bar. This isn’t the Four Seasons, but for what it is it’s a good deal. The host is delightful and her cooking is authentic.

Slight problem with finding it as the streets are very narrow so couldn’t get there immediately. No parking there but parking nearby.

If you want a rural spanish village experience and to sample local cuisine then this is the place. I quite enjoyed it -the casa and bar appear to be the social centre for the village. The woman running the casa is very helpful and pleasant and appears to be doing it all alone.

It was explained the room I had booked had drainage problems and on viewing the room I would have been very uncomfortable staying there. I was offered an alternative but for an additional fee. To be fair this room was comfortable and clean. On the whole though the casa and outside area appear a bit untidy. There are no alternatives in the village for food or drink.

Supposed to have air con in rooms .! Very hot without .

Location

The owner told us that it wasn’t refundable. The email from booking said the opposite. We booked twin beds, because we didn’t want to share beds, but they just have double beds. We had to book other double bed (increasing the price, of course)
