We stayed at this apartment May 30-31 (2025). It was a stop for us on the Camino de Santiago. The host is fantastic. She communicates immediately, has good recommendations and is east to communicate with. The food, drinks (connected restaurant) was great and so easily accessible. The beds and shower were great. We stayed in a very spacious room for up to 4 (there was only 2 of us) which made it incredibly spacious for us. Three or four would not have been a problem at all, as another couple would have their living and bedroom space. The hotel is directly on the main street and next to the cathedral. Everything you could want or need is within a few minutes away. Baggage delivery/departure was flawless. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Spotlessly clean, large rooms, comfortable beds and a great bathroom. We had a twin room with a balcony with chairs and a small table which enabled us to sit in the sun and watch the street below - we loved our room! Fantastic location on the camino trail, such a wonderful sight to see at the end of the day's walk. Friendly and warm welcome. Paulo was exceptionally helpful and even carried our bag up to our room for us - thank you, Paulo!! Delicious food, which was beautifully presented, and the set menu with wine was very good value. Great breakfast if you want it, is served in the bar. A fantastic stay - Thank you!

The hotel is wonderful! Our room was lovely, large and very clean. There was a lovely garden that we enjoyed resting in. The meal was beautiful and we were impressed with how much care and attention the staff gave to accommodate one member of our group who cannot eat gluten.

Welcoming staff, lovely room decor, cleanliness, extra blanket - all much appreciated. Also a beautiful back garden and tasty pilgrims meal.

The staff were outstanding, particularly Noelia. She checked us in while managing the lunchtime diners, then carried my suitcase upstairs. She managed the whole dinner restaurant on her own (until help arrived). She was efficient, friendly and cheerful. The following morning, Giovanni was also very helpful and efficient. The hotel has quirky decor that is fun. The temperature control was absolutely perfect - not too hot and not too cold. The hotel is perfectly positioned with a view of the cliffs and in the centre of the old town. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

The shower did not have a soap dispenser or a bar of soap. There was only a soap dispenser next to the basin. Luckily, I had my own bar of soap. There were no glasses in the room from which to drink.

Third time to stay in La Huella. It is located right on the camino. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean. It overlooked the garden and provided a good view of the church. The beds were comfortable. The dinner was wholesome and good value for money. The restaurant was lively later in the evening. Our bikes were securely stored overnight.

The owner went above and beyond to assist me. I had to suddenly get back home to the US due to a family medical emergency. Despite being busy, he took the time to give me instructions on how to navigate transportation. ---The room was more than excellent---spacious, clean, and a view of the church. --The evening meal was delicious and relaxing with the white tablecloth atmosphere overlooking a garden. --I had to ask the owner questions about half a dozen times and each time he was so gracious to help me. This was my Camino blessing.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room and I got a bathtub!! After a long walk on the Camino this was heaven! Good pilgrim menu with plenty of choice and I also had the breakfast the next morning which was a lot of food for €8 (I brought half for lunch as it was too much). Very friendly and helpful staff, gorgeous little town.

Nothing, it was perfect!

Really clean, great location on the Camino de Santiago. Our room overlooked the church and the rock hill behind. It was very picturesque. We had two home-cooked, 3 course meals in the restaurant. The food was healthy and well done. Would definitely stay here again. It is not fancy, but very nice and a good value.

Excellent location for El Camino. We stayed here on the last night of our walking last year and we liked it so much we stayed here for the first night of this year’s walk (coincidentally in the same room). The room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden area. All the staff were very friendly. We had the menu of the day for our evening meal and it was really tasty and excellent value for money
