This was our second stay here. A very good stop on a journey from southern Spain. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. The staff are welcoming and speak at least 3 languages. It is Quiet yet with easy access to the main road. We travel with our dog, who is welcomed and we have been able to take him into the dining room with us. The food is very good at dinner. We can’t comment on breakfast as we have not eaten that there. There is a lovely rural walk close by where he can stretch his legs for an hour off lead. We highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing to dislike.

With its location right next to the motorway, yet still quiet, the hotel is particularly well suited for travellers passing through. We arrived at the hotel late, but were still able to check in comfortably. The rooms are spacious and practically furnished. The breakfast was very good and varied. Various breads, cold cuts, muesli & cornflakes, yoghurt, fresh fruit and much more.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning was quite noisy. However, when you turn off the air conditioning, a somewhat unpleasant smell fills the room.

The hotel is situated conveniently close to the most used route between Madrid and San Sebastián but the bedroom was perfectly quiet. The rooms are comfortable and clean and cannot be faulted. The staff in all areas of the hotel but especially those on reception are helpful, cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. The restaurant has a limited but good quality menu which in my opinion is a good sign and it means the food is cooked to order and not heated from the freezer. On the evening of our arrival I ordered Bulls tail stew which was delicious. The breakfast was the usual buffet style Fruits, meats, cheeses, serials, pastries and toast. I’m not sure if our stay was discounted in any way but our stay was incredible value and the price comparable to a 2star chain hotel but far more comfortable. If I travel in this area again in the future I will certainly consider staying here again.

There was nothing I didn’t like

Although close to a motor way, which gave easy access to the hotel, there was no traffic noise within the hotel. Plenty of accessible parking within the hotel grounds. The rooms and communal areas were very clean. All the staff we dealt with, spoke very good English. The restaurant had an extensive menu ( English translation available) and a good selection of wines, with the costs being very reasonable. On departure, after our overnight stay, we made a reservation to stay here again on our return home

My only issue was getting in and out of the bath. Being nearer 80 than 70, and with two replacement knees, I really needed a grab rail to hold onto when accessing/egressing the bath to have a shower, and unfortunately a grab handle was not available.

The staff were very helpful, polite and thoughtful, Juan Carlos on the reception desk was exceptional, went out of his way to attend to us, specifically with the pets we had, dealing with all our requests with a smile, made us feel very welcome, I can recommend this hotel to all pet owners who need accommodation on the journey for a stay over, also, there is plenty of space to walk your pooch 😀

They had a problem with the drains, which left a really undesirable smell outside the property.

Whole atmosphere of the Hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and even spoke good English. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were cleaned to a high standard. Also, water was hot! Dinner was possible in a dining room, even with our dog which was a big plus.in our book.

We could not find any fault to report on this Hotel

The location of the hotel was perfect for an overnight stay enroute to Bilbao for the ferry. It was not far from the motorway, but in a quiet and scenic spot. The staff were very accommodating and the rooms were lovely. The restaurant was very good, food delicious and they allowed our small dog to accompany us.

We liked the facility, a historical building with some modern upgrades and interesting decorations. Free parking was available. The rooms were comfy and clean. The restaurant is located in the same building and is tastefully decorated in an Art Noveau style. The dinner was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was good and had choices suitable for a ketogenic diet. We will certainly stay here again.

We struggled a bit to find the correct entrance to the parking space. More guidance on this would be nice.

Hotel is set in a quiet area not too far from the motorway. Rooms and bathrooms are large and spacious. There is a restaurant on site with a small parc and terrasses. Staff are friendly. Dogs allowed with small fee. Very little outside noise from guests and staff. Lots of parking spaces.

Staff in restaurant were friendly but totally unorganised. Breakfast wasn’t great and nobody to attend guests, one staff came once or twice to ask if all ok. Also complicated to get to the breakfast room. It’s overall clean but many spiderwebs all around and dust under the bed. Bathroom is big but toilet so close to the wall and door that it becomes uncomfortable.

Very good room, all amenities, very good air conditioning, excellent wifi, private parking, friendly staff and quiet place.

The location is on the national road 20 minutes walking to the center of Briviesca or need transportation. The breakfast should be included in the room price.
