Lovely hotel for a group of women travelling. Handy location, 28 mins from airport and we were travelling to different places around for a few days i.e. Garabandal, Covadonga, Zurita. Bedrooms and ensuites were so clean, beds were very comfortable. So convenient with restaurant in the hotel, which meant we could eat before we left for the day and get alright dinner on return. Bar also available. Excellent value for money and will stay there again.

No mirror in bedroom to so.make up, hair etc. Had to wait for bathroom mirror to become available Breakfast selection not great, no cereals or egg dishes

Great location, 35 mins from Santander airport, easy access to Garabandal, Comillas, Santillana del Mar and Altamira, the coast and beaches and for exploring Cantabria. The hotel is 500m from the local train station which services Santander. Our room was clean , beds comfortable. bathroom spotless. The hotel itself was spotless. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful with self service in the spacious dining room. Staff were friendly , in particular Juan, who had good English and was always friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers a good choice of meals, salads, meat, chicken, fish. Looking forward to a return visit, plenty to see and visit in Cantabria from here.

The family owned hotel was exellent. We went with 2 motorbikes on a trailer and we had the opportunity to park trailer and bikes in the big underground garage. The hotel team were helping straight away. I really recommend this hotel, i travelled already al lot arround the world and have a lot of experiences this one is 9/10 on a overall scale. Breakfast a fresh goods and evening dinner nicely made and for a price you cant't refuse !

The proprietor is also chef and a master baker - the food was superb, generous quantities, and a marvellous range of baking, patisserie etc. Restaurant clearly popular with local people, providing local specialties, good Spanish cooking.

Friendly staff despite not having mastered the English language. Very nice and large room with balcony and fridge. Easy and ample parking. The restaurant offers good local food for a very friendly price. The location is perfect as a basis for making trips in the area, like hiking in the mountains or going to the various beaches.

The first impression. The hotel is right off the highway (perfect) and next to a big petrol station and alongside a railroad. When expecting a boutique hotel, you'll be disappointed. However, we soon found out that the hotel is immensely popular with the locals for the good food and drinks (as mentioned very competitively priced). And all those locals provide a great atmosphere and Spanish "feel".

For continental breakfast it was good value for money

Very nice family run hotel. Very clean and comfortablle,, food in the restaurant is very good, breakfast is excellent. We have stayed here many times, very convenient for the ferry at Santander. The owner always makes time to speak to guests. Highly recommended

Nothing to dislike

Lovely room on 3rd floor with French doors & balcony, jacuzzi bath, very clean & nice decor. There is a bar & restaurant on site with great choice of food & drinks. I am vegetarian & they were very keen to make me something I enjoyed. Lovely outdoor area to eat as well as indoor restaurant.

Nothing. We only stayed 1 night before catching ferry back home from Santander. Would have enjoyed another day or two. Very relaxing place.

We arrived quite late for non-Spanish hours, but still could have dinner. The food was excellent, breakfast. The following day was even better.
