Location is unique with easy walking access to the city center and spectacular views of the Cadaques city, cove and iconic church.

The description of the room is not accurate. The room description on booking states: “Guests will have a special experience as this room offers a pool with a view and a fireplace.” It should state: “….this room offers a view of the sea and pool. There is a fireplace in the lounge.” The description makes it sound like EACH room has a fireplace and pool. There should be a distinction between the room the description and the overall hotel facilities’ description.

Beautiful view and comfortable room. Despite the rain (travelling in early March), we enjoyed every minute of our stay in Cadaques. The hotel has a fireplace in the lounge/dining room, which we enjoyed in the evenings. Very friendly, helpful staff, and a super clean property. We enjoyed the breakfast, which had something for everyone. Location was amazing, an easy work down to the foreshore, and minutes from the restaurants. The carpark is located at the hotel, and we appreciated being able to easily park our car during our stay. Highly recommend, and we will stay here again.

Would have been good to have a couple of floor mats at the door going out onto our personal patio given the wet weather. Nothing else we could fault.

We stayed here for one night and loved it; I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms well appointed and bed very comfortable. Our room had a balcony with beautiful views of the church, town and sea. There is parking in a field directly next to the hotel and it is a short walk (5 to 10 min) into town. The hotel serves tapas for dinner. We tried a couple and they were good. I particularly liked the breakfast. It was all cold food but an excellent and varied selection of bread, pastries, cakes, cheese, ham, salmon, vegetables, fruit (super fresh and varied), cereals, potato frittata, coffee, juices etc. If you like a healthy breakfast then you'll love the freshness and variety. I had notified the hotel ahead of time that I was gluten free and they provided me with a GF baguette and two muffins for breakfast. The baguette needed to be heated for longer as it was very crumbly but the muffins were delicious!

We would have liked a more varied menu - some more vegetarian/pescatarian and gluten free options. Also perhaps the option of room service. We weren't sure if this was available as there was no information in the room. A kettle in the room would also be good - we did ask and were provided with one. The soundproofing between rooms is not great. We could hear the couple next door using the bathroom and in bed. The noise however overall was minimal and short-lived and I always travel with ear plugs, so it wasn't a big issue.

I don’t understand why the towels for the pool are not provided in the room or at the pool area directly, but instead at the reception with a towel card system. For the price I would expect the parking places to be included. It would be also great to get some instructions beforehand how to best get their. Google maps was sending us along the sea side which was not easy to drive as the streets are very narrow with a lot of pedestrians.

This is a fabulous boutique and we would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly and recommended exceptional places for lunch and dinner. They were out of this world! We initially booked the brand new hotel (Boutique Hotel Salvador) - but so happy we got to experience Villa Gala. We will definitely come back. Cadaques is simply gorgeous. Thank you for a wonderful few days.

Everything was perfect.

The very neat and tidy room had a great outdoor area with big French doors opening to it. From the french doors and the outside area we had a great view of town and the harbor. The pool was partly salt water, which I really like and was kept at a cool temperature which was great in warm southern Spain. The breakfast was fine --- not great by European standards but fine and a good way to start the day. The location, up hill about two blocks from downtown was nice -- close to the action, but quiet and peaceful. With one minor exception the staff was just great.

One staff member was a little unfriendly, but he was the exception. That was about it.

Very pleasant environment. The public areas were clean and comfortable. Food when available was excellent. Breakfast was excellent.

Disappointed that the kitchen was only operating for one evening of our stay. Ants nest behind the wall cladding in the room. Fortunately we had some ant killer with us which seemed to solve the problem.

Everything about this hotel is very good. It is very tastefully decorated and matches perfectly the ambiance of Cadaques. The staff were not only very helpful but also very friendly and had lots of ideas concerning how best to use your time in the area. Our room (1A) had a large patio with a good view of the town and the bay. It even had an additional outside shower but November was not the time to try it out!

A few more coffee pods (only 4 per day would be good) though I am sure if we asked we could have had more. Also, it is time Spanish hoitels started to supply tea and a kettle to boil water in the rooms. BUT this is general and not a complaint about Boutique Hotel Villa which is really very good.

THe Hotel is gorgeous, with a beautiful view of the town center of Cadaques, the rooms are very stylish and spacious. The staff are very friendly and professional. Breakfast is very good and the food at the hotel restaurant is also very good. The Hotel Private parking is a great feature. Highly recommended. The walk to the town center is also very short and nice

The access to the hotel could be a little complicated by car

Location and breakfast were lovely. Food offering very limited tho and frequently didn’t have the ingredients for the food (or drinks) on their menu. Felt a little like it was being run a shoe string but we absolutely loved the hotel and the pool so were happy to overlook this
