We had a real dream vacation ! The house is spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views over the sea and the mountains. Karen was a wonderful host, and the breakfast she served each morning was exceptional. We loved relaxing by the beautiful pool, and the location is ideal — peaceful, yet close to Girona, Figueres, and the beaches. Truly one of our best stays ever!

Friendly guest house really well situated on the top of the mountain with sea view. Lots of ride in the mountains with dolmen accessible by feet. Near the Roses seaport and its restaurants. Confortable room well equipped. Great home made breakfast. Breakfast is vegan but it was a great experience as it is cooked very well by Karen.

A car is suitable but the access is easy with one.

Karen and her family are lovely hosts. The property was spectacular, with amazing views and a great pool and jacuzzi. We never wanted to leave the property! Rooms have everything you need, everything is spotless clean, and bed/pillows super comfortable. We travelled with our 1yr old, and there were cots and high chairs available. There is a shared kitchen if you would like to cook your own meals which is a plus for the days you don't feel like walking or driving to the town centre. The continental brekkie was one of the best we've ever had! Cannot recommend this place enough!

Karen and her daughter were wonderful, gracious hosts! The home, location and views are wonderful. I slept in, but my husband loved the continental breakfast and Gabriella kindly packaged delicious baked goods for me to take away in the mornings. Also very convenient to be able to park our car safely behind the gate on the property. Karen also had great recommendations on things to do and great restaurants. Lovely stay all the way around!

The room we were in had a low mattress which was comfortable enough, just hard to get in and out of and the sheets that could have been softer. Other than that, accommodations were honestly wonderful. We would definitely stay again!

Everything was wonderful. Amazing location above Roses so the view was incredible. Our room was beautiful with so many little extras such as an atomiser with choice of essential oils and waters, fizz and chocolates in a fridge. Relaxing lounge for us to use with great decor for a relaxing place to chill although we preferred to sit outside to picnic in the evening and kitchen area was available for us to make salads and picnics. Karen the host was charming and there if we needed anything. One of the best places I have ever stayed.

Great location, great view, the house is clean and the spaces are well thought out for comfort and relaxation. She is the ultimate host. She has thought of everything to makeYour space comfortable and a home away from home. Attention to detail with additional amenities in the rooms and shared areas. I highly recommend and would return to stay for longer.

Everything. Absolutely everything. Karen was an amazing host. The view is worth the cost alone but a must is her breakfast. If you stay, do yourself the favor and get her breakfast every day.

I loved everything.

We had an amazing time at Casa de l’Albada. This is exactly the kind of place I like to stay when traveling: beautiful contemporary decor, clean, big and bright, a great location, beautiful views of the Mediterranean, great pool and hot tub… They also had parking on location and fast wifi. On top of it all, Karen, our host and her daughter were really attentive and welcoming, and served us a very generous and delicious breakfast spread. We can’t wait to be back.

The villa was beautiful, amazing views & facilities. The owners were fantastic, they were very accommodating and made every effort to ensure we had everything we needed. Also the breakfast was outstanding.
