Excellent place, good room, good breakfast for low price

I was living in another hotel in the same place. Good hotel, but no seaview. I called to Vela and asked. Can I have standard room with sea view. Answer was - yes, but only for one night from Friday to Saturday. I made reservation through Booking, checked out from another hotel and came to Vela. Here I heard, that sea view is not available. After my angry reaction they one, but for additional payment.

Breakfast were very tasty and fresh. It looks they put great effort into it. This was the best thing. Rooms were okey - clean, but not very new. Hotel was quiet and good to relax

We got the view to inside yard, which is not perfect in comparison to beach view. Parking is compromised, though we finally found free parking place near the castle. However, the administrator did not mention this option.

Centrally located and very close to the beach/town centre. Clean room with basic 2* amenities. Room showing signs ofvweat and tear but overall comfortable. Good fast WIFI. Breakfast staff very friendly.

Need more choice at breakfast, it was the same for all 4 days. Rooms noisy due to proximity to road and motorbike parking. Blackout Curtains didn't fit window, so room always bright.

The breakfast option was an extra 5 euros per person. Coffee, rolls, toast with spreads, pastries and croissants, cheese ham salami, fruit, cereal selection and yoghurts. Never left breakfast hungry. The staff in the restaurant was fantastic and caring to his customers. We gave him an Aussie koala ornament when we left. He also gave us some tips on places to visit during our stay (which we did and they were worth seeing) The manager recommended a restaurant for paella that we ate at and it was very good. Best week of our very long trip. Would stay there again.

That we were unable to stay longer.

My room was upgraded in high season to a beach view. The room was cleaan and comfortable albeit sparsely furnished. The position of the hotel is excellent and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was also very good.

Only thing is parking - the nearest free car park is a good walk away and in high season it can be difficult to find a space.

Location is perfect, close to sea, restaurants and shops, room very nice (balcony with beautiful seaview), bed comfortable, clean and tidy, peaceful, staff always there for you, good price-quality ratio

One can hear everything from room next door. Luckily we had quiet neighbours. If you bring earplugs, the problem is solved.

This was the perfect place to base ourselves for a few days. The balcony overlooking the Gulf gave us some great sunsets during our "happy hour." Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach promenade let us walk off our dinner. There was a pleasant breakfast (cereals, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc). The staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful (for that time of year).

The hotel is exceptionally clean, all staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is copious and excellent value. Location is perfect, opposite the beach, wonderful view from the front facing rooms. Wifi good.

Nothing negative to say. Next time I go, I will take my own pillow but that is personal preference as I like 2 pillows rather than one.

Book a sea view room…. You won’t regret it. Great breakfast. Perfect location.

Love everything but a mini fridge would be a great addition to the room.

Breakfast was very good and you could sit outside and take in the sea view. Most relaxing. The head waiter was charming and absolutely on the ball. So helpful just couldn’t do enough. My daughter and I couldn’t fault it.

We should have booked a front facing room with a balcony as we had no view. Our only regret but my fault. Absolutely loved the hotel though and the staff were amazing.
