The breakfast was excellent. Jawad the head of breakfast services was excellent, perceptive and knew what we wanted before we even thought of it. The rest of the staff were equally excellent and very helpful. Always had a smile and a conversation. The car valets and reception staff were excellent. Always willing to listen and provide recommendations. I will definitely be back. My only regret was that I did not have enough cash handy to give more tips. A cashless tipping system would be a great idea.

The lobby could do with a refurb. And the coffee machines in the rooms should be free for the entire stay. I am happy to overlook that tho it’s the staff were so excellent. A 5 start hotel should not have a non free coffee pods

We were upgraded to an amazing room as a celebration for our anniversary. It was stunning. Absolutely loved running right from the hotel on the Cami de Rhonda trail! The breakfast spread was also top notch!

We had deep tissue massages. They asked if it was ok for a trainee to "observe" my massage and I said yes. My massage was great, however right after mine, my husband had his and the trainee did it and it was not very great at all. Not even a soft flush. He gave feedback to the therapist, but it didn't help much. We said something to the front desk and they were not very responsive, almost combative. The next day someone at the front desk asked to speak with us about it and she was very very nice and asked if there was anything we could do. Just difference in the employees I guess! This is our only complaint about our stay - everything else was perfect.

The room was not too kept up too well - the bathroom door wasn’t closing fully and some stains in the shower. Also, the barmen were young guys who could only make the few drinks on the menu. For an hotel like Vistabella, they could have got some better trained bar people

The position of the hotel is sensational. We stayed 2 nights our meal in the Mila restaurant was ok nothing fantastic to write about and we found the availability for customers to be able to smoke put us off and we had to move indoors to have our dessert. The second night we dined in els Brancs the ambience overlooking the bay was divine, the service was brilliant and the food was very good.

The property was nicely located in that it was easy to walk to the beach but it felt a little more private and off the beaten path. There were great restaurants and the breakfast was one of the best and comprehensive breakfasts that I have had while in Spain. The room was perfectly set up for a family with pull out beds for kids, or adults. The views were spectacular. Overall I would say, just book it already. It is a relaxing resort in the middle of a very busy area.

The view from the hotel was splendid. The staff at reception were very helpful. The food and service in the restaurant were wonderful. Breakfast was excellent.

The fitness room in the hotel is outdated and the treadmill was faulty. There was a coffee maker in the room however there was a 2.50 charge for a coffee.

stunning location, access to water-sports, private beach and private yachts. The property is steeped in history, decor maybe a little outdated now but still worth a visit. beautiful sunsets from your room balcony sipping a glass of vino overlooking the beautiful bay.

plenty of food and drink options but food does lack favour. The main hotel restaurant once held a Michelin star but not now. For the cost of a meal for two and a mid range bottle of wine is around €200 and I expected a little more in terms of flavour and menu choices. Wine cellar is a great addition, for value stick to the Catalunya local wines, some amazing bottles.

The location, the view, the rooms, the property were all amazing. The staff were the most incredible helpful staff we had in all of Spain, maybe even the world. Can’t wait to go back

Food at the restaurant needs work. Lots of work. But the service and staff at the restaurant are great
