Hotel is centrally located and an easy walk from the station. Room was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Shower was strong and water hot. Kettle provided for tea or coffee. All staff we met were very friendly. Cafe underneath Hotel for breakfast was great, food very good and open all day.

No international channels on TV which was not a problem but just a suggestion. Hotel was very noisy at night. Hotel is on a pedestrianised street so some noise is unavoidable, but there is also considerable noise from the rooms and within the hotel sometimes until 4am.

Charming, unpretentious, spotlessly clean and in a great location about a 10-15 walk to the old town and 20 minute walk to the Caleta beach. Lovely spacious clean bathroom with big shower. Lovely white cotton sheets and bath towels. We arrived early for check in but were able to leave our cases. Check in was very quick having done it online before. Good value for money. Nice roof terrace for drinks in the evening and terrace for drinks/ meals outside the front on the ground floor. Staff friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant as you could pay as you go and only pay for what you order. We also ate dinner here a couple of times as the kitchen was open all day and it was the only place we found serving food between 4-8pm. Food was basic but acceptable.

A bit noisy at night as noise echoes up from the street if you have the windows open but not so bad if you close them.

I had an unexpected delay that had me arriving at 23.50 pm on the 8th April, the receptionist was really sweet and understanding, tried to hold back past her shift waiting for us, until she couldnt any more, left everything ready for us with clear instructions on how to access the facilities. Very sweet and understanding when we called her every time to update her, we also run into her at midnight on our arrival and asked her randomly if she was the receptionist, anybody else would have not answered after shifts but she stopped and give us instructions in how to get to the hotel.

There was no breakfast package offered when I asked. They have a cafe and we ate there. It was fine. The servers were not very engaging or gracious. It's a very pretty building. The room was fine. It was good to have an elevator.

The hotel offered nothing in the way of dog friendliness, and when I inquired if I could have a bowl for the dog, or any pet amenities, the desk person told me there was a pet store down the street. In general, the desk staff was not very helpful. Of note, the hotel provided a complimentary but warm bottle of sparkling wine. But there was no ice bucket, and the frig was so small that it was hard to fit small water bottles in it. It was almost useless. I took the wine home with me.

Fantastic location and easy to walk to from the Train station. Easy also to walk to the beach which had beautiful clear and very cool waters. We enjoyed renting bicycles from near the centre of town. Flamenco was fabulous. Local rock concert from Cadiz School of Rock performed by little kids was a blast! Museum was fascinating. Cadiz old town has the feeling of a collection of villages centred around its beautiful squares. Very warm. Very local. This was a great short break and we just wished we could have stayed for longer.

We would have liked a little more space to put things like books and cups of tea. The bedside tables were teeny. Also, one word of warning: Our room (109) was onto the street and with the window open is was really noisy till around 4am. I loved feeling I was part of the town. My husband wasn't so keen. With the windows closed you couldn't hear a thing anyway.

Its location

I originally requested a room with 2 single beds. Then through Booking.com I was offered an upgrade to a room with a double bed a single bed and balcony, for €85. However when we checked in there was a double bed and a sofa bed (which was not made up and would have made the room impossibly small. The hotel staff were kind enough to offer us a different room with 2 single beds but we were still charged the extra upgrade price.

Great location, we parked near the port which was less than a 5 minute walk away. The car park was underground and wasn't cramped at all. There are a few little parks dotted around for little ones. The Hotel staff were welcoming and the rooms comfortable and clean, the bottle of fizz in our room was very welcome (although chilled and in an ice bucket would be a bonus). The complementary toiletries were welcome, since we forgot our toothbrushes, and it was great to have a small bath in one of the interconnecting rooms for our toddler. Showers were great too.

The rooftop bar was only open on weekends, but we were able to easily purchase from the bar and take up.

Old world charm in the heart of Cadiz, very clean rooms tastefully decorated. Typical andalusian central patio with direct access to a traditional café. The rooftop bar. You can reach the hotel in the old town only on foot, no noisy street in front.

Nothing. Some people mentioned street noise. There is no street, only a pedestrian pathway. The early morning trash collection is only for minutes and not really an annoyance.

We were given two rooms with interconnected door - very good as there were only two of us with dog. Excellent rooms, showers, location, staff and facilities

My car (Subaru Forester) was just too long for the nearest car park to the hotel so had to source another. In hot weather the walk with cases etc could be arduous. Once you know the way the route is shorter! Parking Campo del Sur was our choice. You take a ticket on entry and pay on exit (machine underground). We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Cost for 11-24 hours (I think) parking is 17.60 euros. We paid 35.20 total.

Very nice hotel. Rooms facing the street can be loud at night. Sounds carry from the street.

Parking is problematic. I reserved a spot online directly with the lot the hotel recommended but when I got there he didn’t see my reservation. Luckily I got a spot allocated to the hotel. We were told the parking opens up at 8 am but it opened at 9. The hotel staff said she would tell the guard that we were coming to pick it up at 8. So we missed the drop off time for our rental car.
